How to Use Honey, Sugar, and Sweet Jars Questions and Answers
Re: How to Use Honey, Sugar, and Sweet Jars Questions and Answers
I have a couple of quick questions.
(1) Is Psalm 23 recommended for reconciliation with a friend? Or is there a better alternative?
(3) How do I prepare a sugar jar? Do I simply use cane sugar in lieu of honey and proceed? Or do I need to do something to the mixture, e.g. vanilla? I found links that recommended the first and second method. If this has been answered in the thread, I apologize. I've read all of it but can't recall this particular question being addressed. As I shared, I am vegan and don't consume honey.

Re: How to Use Honey, Sugar, and Sweet Jars Questions and Answers
Hi Dichterin,
For reconciliation with a friend, psalms 28 and 111 used together (particulary 28) can be effective.
For the honey jar, if you're vegan, liquid alternatives to honey include molasses, maple or birch syrup (expensive on those last two though), agave nectar and corn syrup. The main thing is that it's a liquid and natural sweetener. If you do want to go with the sugar jar, either just the sugar + your petition/personal concerns is fine; it's also OK to add herbs (preferably edible) that are aligned with the aim of your work. For reconciliation with a friend you could use balm of gilead buds, borage and cloves for example.
Blessings and best of luck.

Thanks for the reply and advice. The rootworker I consulted suggested sugar, and that's why I mentioned it. I want to follow that advice and figured I would ask general questions here rather than bother him with a ton of questions.aura wrote:Hi Dichterin,

Re: How to Use Honey, Sugar, and Sweet Jars Questions and Answers
I have read through the honey jar/sugar jar postings. But I was very curious regarding the sugar box. I couldn't find any information on how I would use a sugar box and feed my ex for reconciliation. Anyone know?
Re: How to Use Honey, Sugar, and Sweet Jars Questions and Answers
Can someone please give me a specific instructions to make the honey jar.
I have read several and are kinda confusing. I am wanting to have contact with an old friend of mine again
thank you

Caveat: I'm not an expert, but I understand the concept and process. The following link at Lucky Mojo is very thorough: http://www.luckymojo.com/honeyjar.html My admittedly novice advice is to read it carefully and see if you still have questions. Good luck!salinton wrote:Can someone please give me a specific instructions to make the honey jar.

I'm planning to make a honey jar for love work. I read somewhere than sugar water works faster than honey because honey is a much thicker material. Is there any truth to this???

Re: How to Use Honey, Sugar, and Sweet Jars Questions and Answers
Sugar water will ferment and expand and end up blowing up your bottle - so, no, sugar water doesn't work faster.
I've said that using sugar and making a shaking jar can be used when a situation can stand a bit of agitation, whereas honey and other natural liquid sweeteners (cane syrup, molasses, maple syrup, etc) have a very soothing effect on things. But neither is "better" or "stronger", just one might be more appropriate for a situation than others.

Re: How to Use Honey, Sugar, and Sweet Jars Questions and Answers
What do you think about burning a series of van van candles to clear away blockages? I don't want it to remove the good work that I've done, just move past resistance or other blocks. Would that be appropriate for this?
Re: How to Use Honey, Sugar, and Sweet Jars Questions and Answers
I made my sugar jar and carefully consecrated and dedicated everything. Then I forgot to taste the sugar before I sealed the jar. Any advice? Should I leave it as is, open it up and taste it, or make a new jar? I feel confident in my work, but this detail makes me uneasy.

Van Van will not remove any of your good works. You can use Van Van to clear out messes.

Re: How to Use Honey, Sugar, and Sweet Jars Questions and Answers
So I have been going on a honey jar on my ex, and been getting contact n phone calls
Lunch once, movies once, he expressed he is still in love with me but isn't talking about
Getting back together or committing I know he loves me but I also feel like I need something
To clear his mind of any doubts and have him fully commit to me? What else can I do along
The honey jar? I burn candles atleast once a week due to privacy but what would help him
Clear any confusion or doubt. Please advice thank u guys!

Re: How to Use Honey, Sugar, and Sweet Jars Questions and Answers
I have a couple of questions.
1. Can I use come to me, love me powered and reconcile powder is the same honey jar, for a dual purpose?
2. Do I mix the powders into the honey, or do I use them in with the folded petition?
3. Same with herbs do I mix them into the honey or add them to the folded petition?

Re: How to Use Honey, Sugar, and Sweet Jars Questions and Answers
Hi. How long would you give the honey jar to work? Three months? As I know, the person who does it should initiate contact first. After how much time does it seem reasonable to do that? I would be grateful for some comments.

Re: How to Use Honey, Sugar, and Sweet Jars Questions and Answers
markx: Well, we all have our own different, personal way of doing honey jars. The way I do it:
1. If those conditions were all for the same individual than, yes, I would say that a Come To Me/Love Me/Reconcile honey jar is appropriate.
2. I personally do not mix the powders directly into the honey. If you do, just make sure that you have already tasted the bit of honey first! Sachet powder in honey will gunk up and with jars that I fill up myself with honey after loading in the roots, herbs and petition, I need to taste a bit of the honey before capping it!
3. I have done both. For small honey jars, or with really loose herbs, I have folded them into the petition. For larger honey jars I have done, or for larger roots and herbs, I will put them in the jar outside of the petition. My usual rule is; if it can fit in the petition and be folded, it goes in the petition.

notsoperfect7, if your honey jar is working in that he's sweet to you, communicating, and saying he loves you but isn't getting back together then adding a bit of attraction to that work. I would use a moving lodestone to draw him back into the relationship.

Re: How to Use Honey, Sugar, and Sweet Jars Questions and Answers
Hi everyone, I was looking for some insight on something strange that happened yesterday. I lit my prosperity candle on top of my prosperity honey jar and meditated on what prosperity meant to me and was focusing on bringing those positive things into my life. The candle burned down but then something weird happened. I was meditating with my eyes closed. I heard sizzling and popping noises, and opened my eyes, the candle was burning crazy strong and the flame was very high. I continued to let it burn and eventually it looked like a ball of flame at the top of the jar where I had attached the candle. Then the ball of flame falls onto the candle holder and I see the top of the bottle is gone. It literally burned the top of the bottle off, all that was left where the flame fell was ash and candle wax. I've burned many candles on that bottle, I've never seen anything like that. Was wondering if anyone could tell me more about this strange occurrence. Here is a link to a picture of the bottle after the candle burned out. Thank you.

It was just the metal screw on lid for the top of the bottle. Just an average lid, nothing out of the ordinary.

I have never heard of metal being completely evaporated/melted by flame...unless the metal was tin-foil, or the flame was from a blow torch or kiln! I can't understand what happened. Have you thought about contacting someone about a quick 10 minute/$10 reading/divination on the cause?indiana_born wrote:It was just the metal screw on lid for the top of the bottle. Re: How to Use Honey, Sugar, and Sweet Jars Questions and Answers
Hi, I wonder boss fix or steady work honey jar, which one is more suitable for getting a job, I have boss fix powder, steady work oil on my hand, how can I combine with one of these honey jar?
Shall I use one honey jar for one job? Or is it OK to use one honey jar for multiple job applications?
If I can take some photos for the companies or offices when I go to interviews, how can I use them to enhance or empower my spell?
Thanks in advance.

hi diplomat,
if it were me, I'd redo the paper until it were perfect before putting it in the honey jar. next time try using a sharpie permanent marker (extra fine) or a red coloured pencil - neither of these will smudge when you anoint them.
hi 8letters,
if you have nothing else, use the photo by all means. You can also add more personal concerns to the jar as you keep working it, once you get them.
hi almondworld,
the steady work honey jar would be best for getting a job. When you get the one from LM, it will come with instructions for use.

Diplomat: What would the second honey jar be for? I would not do two separate jars for the same exact purpose. No need. If you really feel like the first was done incorrectly, so much so that you would start another one on top of the first one, then I say you should undo the first jar and make one you feel comfortable with.

Re: How to Use Honey, Sugar, and Sweet Jars Questions and Answers
Hello All:
I just have a question in regard to the colors of candles one can use on a honey jar. Can and/or should you use a black candle to banish negative feelings or negative issues you may be having with the subject of the jar? And I'm talking if the jar is originally made for positive work and or love. In example, I've only been using white, pink and red on the jar. And should you do this kind of work on a love drawing type of jar? Or should you do a totally separate jar for banishing type of work during the waning moon phase? I searched the topic everywhere and cannot find it. Thanks for your input.
Sassy.

I would make a separate work for the banishing, since a honey jar is a drawing/sweetening work and banishing is, obviously, banishing work.

You can do that, but you could make a general petition such as "bring me a new job" add your personal concerns, and other ingredients then close the jar. Then under the honey jar you can add each job application you feel out so you dont have to keep opening the jar.

Re: How to Use Honey, Sugar, and Sweet Jars Questions and Answers
I have been keeping a honey jar for many months and have burned tons of candles on it - three a week. It is a baby food jar topped with a small, gold star-shaped candle holder - the kind LM sells. There are almost no wax drippings, but the part of the candle holder that the candle sits in has gotten full of accumulated wax and powder, etc. A candle will no longer sit in it. Should I break the candle holder off and add a new one? Or should I just melt the candles into the holder and keep building up the wax?

Re: How to Use Honey, Sugar, and Sweet Jars Questions and Answers
You could do both. You could also cleanse off the candle holder if possible, and dispose of any wax. I would probably melt the candle into the holder and see if the next few burns will burn off that excess wax. If not, just clean the holder dispose of any wax, or get a new one.

Re: How to Use Honey, Sugar, and Sweet Jars Questions and Answers
So I did a honey jar for me, to sweeten my life, and silly me, used a honey jar with a plastic lid. As you might guess, the candle burned a hole right throgh the lid, and so now it's just ready for me to dispose of it and start anew!
The only thing is I"m not sure if I should just use one of the standard methods of disposal...i.e. river works well were I am, burying not so easy to accomplish. Lots and lots of rivers here.
Would that do it, just bless it to disperse and start all over again with a honey jar with a metal lid?

I would just melt the candles into the holder and keep building up the wax. If it were becoming a potential danger / fire hazard to continue doing this, then I'd shave off the excess wax and dispose of it in my front or back yard, probably in the garden.roguedeer wrote:I have been keeping a honey jar for many months and have burned tons of candles on it - three a week. This is a matter of preference. Some like to start completely over, and some would just open up the jar and put it right in. So do what you feel is right. But if you feel strongly attached to this jar and it has been working for you then open the jar and put it in. If you want to make a new and improved jar, then that is fine too.

Re: How to Use Honey, Sugar, and Sweet Jars Questions and Answers
Hi can someone please answer my question
Is it okay to open up a honey jar after you've started it to add some herbs? Ive only burned two candles so far so it's fairly new.
Also is it okay to burn the candles on other days? besides Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
Can I burn one candle everyday? And maybe 2-3 times a day?

2 to 3 times a day is a bit excessive. I mean you can burn a 100 candles a day, and its probably not going to change the effectiveness if you just burned one. Its about focusing your intent not about the amount of candles you burn. To me, that is just a waste of products. But if you want to do it, then you can.
Yes you can burn on other days other than Mon, Wed, and Fri. People pick those days because they coincide with love work.
And yes you can open the jar.

Thank you for the info. I had just read somewhere that you should burn 2-3 candles.

Sashee78: I burn 3 candles a week, Mon-Wed-Fri on my honey jars and they are working great. Sometimes I will add another on for Sunday if I get the feeling I should. Lately there has been a lot of the "more is more powerful" type of thing. starsinthesky7 gave you great and very sound advice regarding this! Good luck!

Re: How to Use Honey, Sugar, and Sweet Jars Questions and Answers
Greetings everyone,
As my name suggests, I am a newbie to the world of rootwork and conjure. I have a question as it relates to the honey jar. I have a target that I would like to start a honey jar on and I creatively collected some of her hair for use as a personal concern by "helping her" with my trusty lint roller to remove the "lint" from her sweater
However, I was only able to pick up a couple of short hairs. Will this be enough to place into my honey jar or will I need to collect more of a sample to have the best impact?

I dont know your circumstances, but if this to reconcile with a lover then you may want to burn return to me candles or get some return to me oil and put it on the candles you burn for your honey jar.

Re: How to Use Honey, Sugar, and Sweet Jars Questions and Answers
I want to keep a jar or two in my desk at work. Haven't yet made up my mind on a shake jar or a honey jar. I have an obnoxious coworker who needs to go, and I want to sweeten my boss. So I need to think about which is more important to me. Anyway, I'm great at discreetly taking pictures with my phone so I have plenty.
Does the photo need to be a certain size, or can I make it super tiny so that if my jar is found, no one will know what I'm up to? Thank you.

I think the size of the photo is a matter of preference. The size doesnt really matter as long as its a photo.
In terms of the a jar for the boss or co worker, I would do both. I would work the boss work one on a certain day or days, and the co worker one on certain days. Make sure you cleanse your space in between workings. All you need to do is get a small spray jar of ammonia, florida water, or chinese wash, and just act like your wiping down your desk. Do this so that one working doesnt influence the other.
