Can I use the same Protection Candle for more than one person? I want to protect my family whenever I do magic, as I don't want them to be effected in any way.

Yes you can use it for more than one person, but if its a lot meaning like 10 or something then I would split them up into groups. Also, I would make sure that you cleanse the space after you do spell work if you are concerned about your spellwork affecting your family. I think as long as you cleanse the space thoroughly, and timely then you should be fine.

Hello everyone - This is my first post.

I had a reading with a psychic that I've known for a while. I explained my situation with a man that I was seeing that did not end well and she told me again that I should stay away from him and that he was evil and wanted to try to hurt me. She told me this 6 months ago after we had a "misunderstanding" that is putting it lightly.

So she suggested I get a protection kit.

I also have a girl "friend" who has been slandering my name for well over a year. I bought the protection kit, burned the candle and that went fine.

I didn't know about this site at the time (sorry:) but I went back to the store and got another protection candle. And that is where the problems began.

I burned the 2nd protection candle and it went out while I wasn't home. I was walking up to my door and one of my neighbors was lurking in front of my door. I live on 3rd floor, he lives on 1st floor there is NO reason for him to be there. When I went inside the candle was out.

I lit the 2nd candle again and told my reader, who seemed alarmed. She convinced me to get another protection candle.

This 3rd one is burning slow and half of it was black at the top; the flame has been so low.

I cleansed the area with sage and it seemed as if things were coming around. But the flame is burning so low that a crown of success candle that I started burning two days later is going to burn out first if this one doesn't go out tonight!

Wow, this sounds dire! It looks like there is a lot of resistance to your work.

Those candles, by the way, could be reinforced by candles on some capable rootworker's altar, or at the Missionary Independent Spiritual Church.

Thank you for your response, I will check in to some of the information that you've shared. Well, thankfully this morning the flame is back up but again although it started burning a full day or possibly even two early...

My crown of success candle is almost burned out.

This is only my second time burning candles. Years ago, I burned candles at the suggestion of a friend, I didn't know what I was doing but they would all be completely black. I don't know if it was the home (older, possibly lots of spirits) or if it were me. These are not coming out black (with the exception of the protection candle which was half black).

I don't know I am really new to this but she was so alarmed she alarmed me! Thanks again.

Here is the Protection candle. It is used for simple protection of all kinds, but if the intruding person is vicious or violent, you might use Fiery Wall of Protection instead, as jwmclin suggested.

Our prepared 8" glass-encased vigil lights come with a dressing of oils and herbs and will burn for 5 - 7 days, depending on ambient temperature and other factors.

If you wish to set a traditional Novena of nine days, you will either have to start and stop the candle (which can result in a smoky glass), or purchase two candles to run continually over the 9-day period.

Always practice fire safety when setting vigil lights. If you must keep them lit when you are away or asleep, be sure that no pets or children can get into the room with them, that they are not near curtains or flammable cloth or paper, and that you have a smoke alarm in your house. Placing lit vigils in the bathtub is quite common, but you must not have a shower curtain if you use this method. Setting them into a fireplace is ideal, as there is a ready-made chimney for them.
