Lady Luck Vigil Candle Questions and Answers

Unread post by LuckyButterfly » Mon Dec 13, 2010 1:34 pm

I did Miss Robin's Lucky Gambling Spell. How long do i light the vigil candles? It wasn't mentioned how long i have to leave it lit. Does someone tried this spell before and know how long? Thank you for your help.

All it say in Miss Robin's gambling spell says, 'The night before, take a bath, etc, etc. Until the part where she says, Let the money stay under the candles until it's time to go and play, then take them out.' I thought i would need to turn off the candles after i take out the money. I have no problem letting it burn throughout but i would like to go just 1 time. Can i re-light them when i would like to go again? Just curious on how to use them.

Thank you for oyur advice.

You can burn vigil candles in sections. You can burn them for about 15 minutes while you pray over them or state your petition. Than pinch or snuff them out...just do not blow it out as this signifies the spell is finished.

I would personally leave them burning while I was out playing.

As would I, in this way they serve as back up while you go out and play. If you are worried about fire safety LuckyButterfly, and who isn't, I suggest leaving the candles to burn in the sink, even if they do crack or such-like they can't ignite anything there.

Thank you all for your advice. I have been burning the candles since Monday so it's actually been continously burning for 3 days now. I have placed to petition underneath both candles. I thought of adding them while the candles are lit. Question: both candles were originally on my dresser as i first lit them. And then when i read the advice of putting them in the sink or shower stall, I moved them in my bath tub including my petition papers. Are you allowed to move them from where they were in the first place? I keep moving them out of the tub and returning them there when we are not using the tub. We only have 1 bathroom with 1 tub. But i haven't snuff out the candles since i lit them. My family are always asking me why are the candles left burning, what is it for, etc, etc. It is OK for other people to see the candles right? It's not like a mojo where no one can see or touch, correct? My husband even lift up one of the candle and ask what is that paper underneath?!!! It is difficult when families get too nosy.

My candles have finally burned down successfully after 5 days. The glass is clean. No wax anywhere except for the herbs, star dusts, etc, at the bottom of the glass. Should i collect them out and bury them in my potted plant at home? I dont have a yard, i live in an apartment. And they are money drawing candles, so i assume it is fine to bury them inside my apartment in my potted plant? Afterwards, is it okay to wash them before throwing them in a recycling container or i dont need to wash them?

You can take out the remains and put them in a potted plant. And you do not have to wash them out before putting them in the recycling container, but it is good practice. They are going to wash and clean the glass anyways before they melt it down.

The Lady Luck candle is employed especially by women when they go to a casino to play. Taking good candle safety practices into consideration, the Lady Luck candle is left burning in the home in a sheltered and fireproof space to back you up while you are at play.

Hello,

So Lady Luck and Lucky 13 only used when playing Bingo or slots at a casino? and your other luck spells would be used for playing a lottery then?

Thank You.

Hello, Lovemydogs

You could still use this candle.

But, it doesn't hurt to employ other methods also

Take care

Hello everyone,

I had a question. I just wanted to know if you think it would be feasible to work on the Attraction spell kit while I start to work with my Crossing spell kit again?

Thank you.

Reason: It's in the wrong forum

zeromagic3,

Traditionally you burn a 7 day candle all the way , some people cant and will burn it in sections, put it out but dont blow it out! . If you want to burn a candle only when you play look into the oil and dress a candle with it. But the vigil candle would be a good back up while you play, say you going to a casino for a few days have it burning few days prior and during your trip. Use the oil to dress yourself.

"Here is the red-headed 'Luck o' the Irish' holding a four-leafed shamrock in one hand and the proverbial left-handed monkey-wrench in the other! Lady Luck favours gamblers and risk-takers, from her horseshoe tiara, dice earrings, 8-ball brassiere, rabbit foot key-chain, and cute card-suit sarong, right down to the wishbone in her garter!"

Our prepared 8" glass-encased vigil lights come with a dressing of oils and herbs and will burn for 5 - 7 days, depending on ambient temperature and other factors.

If you wish to set a traditional Novena of nine days, you will either have to start and stop the candle (which can result in a smoky glass), or purchase two candles to run continually over the 9-day period.

Always practice fire safety when setting vigil lights. If you must keep them lit when you are away or asleep, be sure that no pets or children can get into the room with them, that they are not near curtains or flammable cloth or paper, and that you have a smoke alarm in your house. Placing lit vigils in the bathtub is quite common, but you must not have a shower curtain if you use this method. Setting them into a fireplace is ideal, as there is a ready-made chimney for them.
