I'm in the Olympia, WA area, I'm an artist/sculptor/writer/adventurer who is fascinated by this whole area of study. I've been a collector of "lucky charms" for some time, usually putting them into my sculptures, which are influenced visually by doll-babies and various other idols/poppets. I love the whole aesthetic.
My current projects are heavily into puppetry... I'm fascinated at the moment by Roman Catholic imagery, which led me to hoodoo, and I think I've been studying it the whole time by accident! My grandfather always went on about the good luck of the Mercury Head Dime, so I've been collecting them and putting them into my art for a few months now.
