Name Change: Cleopatra to Mama Micki

Unread post by Mama Micki » Sun Sep 19, 2010 8:24 am

Some male rootworkers take the title "Papa" so I thought Mama would be fitting.

I have practiced magic for over thirty years and have studied religion and philosophy for over forty years. (Since I could read.) I use several methods of divination including stones, cards, scarabs, and bibliomancy, as well as astrology and numerology.

I am familiar with Christian, Pagan, and Hindu traditions and incorporate them into my practice. I am especially devoted to Durga and other deities that are associated with cats.

I would like to start a shop where I would sell Lucky Mojo products and other items, as well as have readings and classes. The area where I live is growing and there is definitely a clientele. Any ideas would be welcome, especially from Miss Cat!

Hurray for Mama Micki! Cleopatra was a cute nick, but Mama Micki puts you where the real WORK is, helping people on their spiritual paths.

Your location -- more or less between Seattle and the Canadian border -- would probably be a good place to open a general occult shop, including Lucky Mojo products as part of the mix. Given the high percentage of European-Americans living there, you would probably succeed best if you included outreach to the Neo-Pagan community as well as specializing in African-American rootwork and featuring a sampling of multi-cultural Durga / Bastet / feline goddesses.

I would be glad to work with you on these projects and to set you up with a wholesale account at Lucky Mojo. You have been a long time faithful customer of Lucky Mojo, a fantastic helper and moderator here on the forum, and you should seriously consider applying to AIRR as soon as you have the requirements for application together. The application form is online, at the AIRR site.

Please call Lucky Mojo and schedule an appointment (not a reading) to talk with me about getting your wholesale account started and applying to AIRR. Tell them to schedule one hour for the appointment, preferably on Monday or Tuesday when i do not have to do readings for clients.

Thanks.

Thanks everyone. Actually, there is a large number of Native Americans in my area because two Indian reservations are nearby. Between them, they own three casinos, which bring in a diverse group of customers and employees, including Asians, African-Americans, and Hispanics. I would like a shop that caters to customers of different backgrounds, instead of just limiting myself to one narrow group.
