My name is Mario, and I live in Queens in NYC. I have been practicing Wicca for a few years imply because it's my most immediate community, but I have been an avid follower of Hoodoo and specifically Lucky Mojo for over 10 years. I find that I am a bit socially awkward when approaching new groups, so I've essentially lurked on here for all this time. But recently I found myself falling into repetitive practice of what I know already and have forgotten to continue being a student. I decided to make 2023 the year I dive deeper into everything that I've been wanting to learn more about, of which Hoodoo is the top of the list.

I am looking forward to expanding my practice and seeing where it goes. Apart from the hours I have spent on this site reading all the documents Cat has uploaded through the years, this is my first step into a more serious commitment. I'm excited to see where I go, and looking forward to being a student again

Although you've been here for a good while, now we can officially say "Welcome to the Forum!" It sounds like you've found it useful, there is so much information here! I sincerely hope you find your time here to be fulfilling, we're a very welcoming bunch o' folks!
