This clever mammal embodies energy and initiative and the concepts of courage, cleverness, and quick movement. Those born in the year of the Monkey are considered to be quick-witted and brave, can enliven any situation with their good-natured humor, and are said to be open-minded and to love experiencing new things. Lukianos wrote the page with contributions by Catherine Yronwode and Papa Newt. Nagasiva Yronwode sourced the images by Nora Achab, Zeffss, BabySofja, and Kjolak; and Catherine edited the text.
