I am new to hoodoo and this forum but I am finding and learning so much info each day.

One problem I have is my self doubt.

i know I have low self-esteem and that is a cause but this is eating into my spell work. For example, I performed a spell days ago and I was looking out for signs. It showed up when I was not expecting it, I was so surprised! But after that pleasant rush of euphoria that things are working out, I started questioning myself and the sign. I had to consciously tell myself "yes that sign IS a sign"

Now my question is, is there any Lucky Mojo's products or candles that I can use to help me with this situation? To stop questioning myself about my interpretations about both spell work and regular daily stuff...

I am also a Virgo so people say I overanalyze everything, but I can't change my astrological sign...

Wisdom of King Solomon and Crucible of Courage are both recommended for self-esteem and Clarity line of products is also good for clear thinking.

You are on the right path and your experience is not unique (although Virgos do have a tendency to analyze and criticize). You are clearly open to receiving and seeing signs. Make a passive note of them and just let them be and over time you will find that they can be trusted - your intuition just needs practice and you will build faith in your own abilities over time.

Tauruses we overanalyze as well...well at least I do LOL. Sometimes we need physical evidence to prove things but that can't always be the case in Hoodoo.

But this is why I recommend to people when they are first starting out to record your successes, and to start on something small. Do not work on something huge, and/ or something that you are in dire need of.

If you need to help grasp this stuff better Master Key products are EXCELLENT to help you master and learn this stuff.
www.luckymojo.com/masterkey.html

In terms of doubt, I like to write my doubts on a black candle from wick to base, put some banishing oil on it, and burn the candle. OR you can simply write your doubts on a piece of paper and burn them in a fire, and dispose of the in a river or crossroads. Ask that your doubts be carried away from you.

As a newbie once myself, this stuff takes PRACTICE! Sometimes I doubt my own work in my own personal matters. There is no way you can completely shut it off. That is impossible, but when I start to doubt I just tell myself NO this is going to work especially if there are no signs of things saying that they are not going to work.

Trust your work! You ARE capable, and accept your signs!
Thank u St. Martha for everything you have done on my behalf.
Thank u St. Elena! I appreciate your great help.
Thank you St. Peter for opening the gates&roads!

This was great advice. I am using Clarity and Crucible of courage in my own quest. Now I will look at Master Key to enhance things.

Self doubt is never good, and if it's an astrological whammy, you can really feel stuck. I have a moon in Virgo (in the 12th!), a Saturn square Mars, and a Venus in Aries. So basically, I want it now, and if I don't get it, I will over analyze it and become jaded and despondent. But I take it day by day (and sometimes hour by hour) and know things will sort out.

Good luck!
It's a bittersweet symphony, this life...

Self-doubt is crippling and has serious spiritual ramifications. It can make a situation worse and make you feel like you cannot help yourself. Remember that confidence, sincerity, and faith are all elements of good conjure.

For people suffing from self-doubt I suggest a nice bath with Master Root, Eucalyptus, and Bay Leaves done by light of one Clarity Candle and one Master Candle.

What are the best and strongest healing products I can use and how do I use them? I have healing oil, healing bath crystals, and reconcile oil... My boyfriend and I have some hurt and our relationship and I want to heal our relationship and bring happiness to relationship.

What can I use?

Hi believingforthebest,

please try not to think of hoodoo formulas and spells in terms of ''best'' or ''strongest''. Each formula and type of work has its purpose and accomplishes goals differently, that's all. You use the product that is best suited to the access you have to your target and the type of spells you are doing.

The oils you have are used to anoint candles, door handles and personal items that are oil-resistant so that the target will touch them. You can read more in detail on the use of oils here: http://www.luckymojo.com/oils.html

Bath crystals are great if you have access to your boyfriend's laundry, body wash and/or shampoo. You would dilute a bit of the bath crystals and add them to any of the above (the laundry while you're washing it - particularly socks and underwear). If you live together, washing the bathroom floor as well as the bedroom floor with a dilute mop solution of the bath crystals can also work well. You can read more in detail on the use of bath crystals here: http://www.luckymojo.com/baths.html

Finally, if you are somewhat new to the work (and even if you aren't it's a good idea), getting a Reconciliatio Spell Kit might be handy: http://www.luckymojo.com/spell-reconciliation.html. The kit comes with everything you need to work the spell, you'll even have left-overs in case you need to do more work later. Furthermore, it has worked for many people and comes with detailed instructions on what you have to do.

Blessings and best of luck.

Hi Miss Cat.

A question on the Uncrossing bath you recommended:

Should this be done with the "standard" procedures of throwing collected bathwater into a crossroads towards the east at sunrise?

I have had many readings done. I just recently had my last reading and this person told me that i need to become spiritually connected, and do for myself. The things that keeps getting repeated in my readings is that i need to overcome the past, let go for new beginnings. The past is holding me back. Also i was told to stop spending my money on consultations and also root work, that there is no one who can get me what i want through root work. Yoga was suggested to me and also to see a therapist. I cannot afford a therapist at the moment since i am not working. i was wondering if anyone had any suggestions to me as how i can overcome my past that is blocking me from succeeding in life. I had uncrossing and protection candles lit at MISC about 2 months ago.

Hi there,
First off, though you have had many readings done it sounds to me from your description like they have been somewhat uniform in their advice and suggestions-that always helps. As far as letting go of the past, if its relationship issues I am a big fan of LMC's cut and clear formula along with Healing. For other areas healing and in some cases banishing may be appropriate:

In addition to Miss Bri's excellent advice, I would suggest posting a prayer request at the Crystal Silence League.

And don't stop with a single prayer request! That's a very active website; post a fresh one every couple of weeks to stay on the members' spiritual radar.

I'm a member of the Crystal Silence League myself -- so your prayer will be on my altar, too.

Good luck --

hoodooboo32 --

There is no "standard" way to bathe, nor to dispose of bath water. There are traditional ways, and common ways, and well-known ways, but they do not always involve a crossroads. Perhaps if you think of conjure as a collection of beliefs rather than as a series of procedures, you may understand the work more intimately.

You can't get what you want through rootwork? Kind of contradicts everything we do here. I would guess that your readings were non-AIRR, especially with the recommendations that were given.

However, letting go of the past is usually a good idea, especially if it is keeping you from moving forward. I suggest Cut and Clear and Road Opener, along with the following Bible passage:
Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the desert and streams in the wasteland Isaiah 43:18,19 (NIV)

The person is an AIRR reader. But these suggestions are good ones and will post another prayer and work with cut and clear, healing and road opener. Thanks so much.

I do want to address something that came up in this thread--and that is the issue of no one being able to get you what you want through rootwork. While there are many angles to approach cases by-there are cases and most of us in AIRR have had them, where a desire, wish, or goal is simply not going to be achieved through magical means. This, actually, is one of the primary reasons that many professional readers and workers insist on a potential client getting a reading prior to ordering root work-because we want to read and make sure that root work will be useful to the specific needs of the individual.
Hope that clarifies!
Blessings,
Bri

Many people don't know what they really want, and a reading can help them clarify what their true desires are. A woman might feel that only a certain man will fulfill her; the only problem is that he is married with three children. Work can be done to cleanse her mind and see the situation as it is, as well as find a more suitable love interest.

A little over a year ago, I started dreaming about, having flashback memories of, and experiencing strong emotions about an ex-boyfriend. We were together 5 1/2 years until I just could not take it anymore. We broke up 14 years ago.

He married the woman he began a relationship immediately after we began having problems and before we broke up. I had hope to end the relationship peacefully, but it took almost a year to make stop him from emailing, calling, and visiting me; by that time I was ready to kill him and it got really nasty, because he wanted to rub the relationship in my face.

I have used a number of techniques to rid myself of the connection, including spells (candle, jar, herbs/roots, etc), cord cutting (by a couple of different people and by me), and physically throwing away everything he gave me or that was connected to memories of him.

Despite these measures, every morning I wake up to thoughts of him.

Years ago, I had something similar happen with an ex-finance from 20 plus years before. When I finally spoke to him he had been sick and thought he was dying, during that time he prayed to talk to me again. It took a bit of work to dispose of him energetically, as he knows about hoodoo.

Hello sippia,

The black walnut bath actually sounds perfect for this as it will remove all ties to this person. I did this a few years ago on a really energetically difficult ex and it worked wonders.

Hello ceridwen6!

Your friend may wish bathe in a combination of 13 Herb Bath, Cast Off Evil bath crystals and Cut and Clear bath crystals.

They might also wish to work the Cut and Clear spell. If the relationship between your friend and this other person was not romantic, they might choose to adapt the part of the rite that draws a new love.

To that excellent advice, I would add starting to petition St. Michael and working with Fiery Wall of Protection products. St. Michael is not only an amazing ally for protection, he can use his sword to help slice through remaining emotional/mental/spiritual bonds that may keep us connected to people we no longer wish to be with.

Definintely take that 13-Herb Bath, and work that Black Walnut to remove him. Then clean your house with Chinese Wash, and do an extra special job in your bedroom - wipe down baseboards, doorframes, window frames, wipe down the walls, etc. Seal the windows and doors with FWP dabbed in a 5-spot pattern, while you pray that St. Michael guard your sleep. Then spread some Peace Water in your bedroom, and throughout your home.

Before you go to sleep each night, and anoint your third eye and the base of your skull, and the crown of you head with a dab of FWP, and sprinkle a circle of Peace Water around your bed. Pray that St. Michael sever any ties or bonds, and guard your sleep so that you may be peaceful and free. If you wish, you can keep a small statue or picture of St. Michael by your bedside with a glass of water (which you'll throw out each morning, and refresh before bed each night).

I hope this aids you in finding mental peace.

I am always forget personal belongings, and look for them all the time. This behavior makes me nervous.

For example, I go to fab earlier about half hour, then wear the dustless-clothing. Then I forget the ID card, so have to take off the suit and went out to find it. And later I have to wear it again so I become late.

Last night I even have nightmare. want to run away from bad guy.I already succeed but go back to search for something I forgot. So I failed to run away ...T.T

Such things happen all the day. Now I am looking for my mobile phone.

Is there any spell can help? Can I order my dear stuffs stay with me?

Thank you Apollo! I do need courage.

I have Solomon's spell and oil with me.
Before I get Crucible of courage oil, which paragraph of Bible would be help?
I read psalm 23rd every time I went into fab.

These two days I didn't forget stuffs, instead of, I become scared people. I though I just work harder then people will like me. I though I have courage to face everything alone. I am 33 years old now, but get into the emotion as a 8 years girl who without mother being with.

To return to the original problem of losing things: You can
  • Work with St. Anthony,
  • Use Cast Off Evil products, since this is a bad habit,
  • Dress all your possessions with Protection products (so that nobody has an opportunity to fix you via your belongings)
  • And put Protection, Cast Off Evil and King Solomon Wisdom products in your laundry, cleaning and grooming supplies.
Hope this helps,

I have a person that I was never really with that has dominated me for the last two decades. I've been married, divorced. Had a brief fling with him after the divorce but it ended and now I am in a new relationship but just as during my marriage it seems I can't let him go. I try but I always dream about him. I may go weeks, sometimes long stretches of months but it always returns.

Is there something I can do to forget him, to make me stop thinking about him, feeling for him?
I don't want to bring harm to him just want to forget him so I can move on completely.

Hi zyddie and welcome to the Forum. You may want to look into the black walnut spell. You can read more about via the following links: black-walnut-bath-questions-and-answers-t3819.html; http://www.herb-magic.com/walnut-whole.html

You can also use Cut and Clear.

I second aura's recommendation for this one. Cut and Clear is an option and you can certainly read about it here (http://www.luckymojo.com/cutandclear.html), the Black Walnut Spell is also discussed.

if you arent sure about "cut and clear" its to do some clarity and tranquility & maybe healing for yourself first....... and see how things play out. i also work with "seperation" oils/candle spells & i put some herbs for peace in there as well, to make it a " peaceful/gentle " seperation.....

I'm still hurt and upset by a man from my past, a long time ago. I don't want to be missing him every once in awhile, or having it interfere with my new relationship. I was thinking of purchasing a Cut and Clear vigil light. Would a petition saying something like, "Break [my name] ties to past relationships and past lovers so she can move forward romantically with [new lover name]" be appropriate?

Your petition should be written in the first person (say "my ties," not "her ties") and you might also pray Isaiah 43:18-19 ("Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.")

Mama Micki's scriptural prayer refers to "rivers in the desert," so you may also want to consider working the Black Walnut bath on this man from your past. You can read more about it here:

http://black-walnut-bath-questions-and- ... t3819.html

http://www.herb-magic.com/walnut-whole.html

http://www.cutandclear.html

There is also a thread devoted to this type of situation that I am merging your post into, it contains a number of spells and advice that may be helpful to you.

Blessings.

Hi there,

I am new here and this is my first post.
I apologize if I do not ask the question on the proper place in the forum.

The thing is that recently I've read about the Law of Contagion and learned that this Law (if I understood it right) is referring to the sympathy principle between two people, or between a person and the items (material) which this person once possessed or touched.

I have a problem with a past friendship relationship [which was broken abruptly with great verbal aggressive fight] which I can't get out of my mind, and is somehow "possess" me. I want to be able to move on with my life without continuously getting back to this person in my mind. I know that several psychological issues can be in play here [such as fear, guilt, need, and etc.], but I think there is something more. I am quite well familiarized myself with psychology and psychological states, so if I came here to ask for help, then it is really serious lol

Seriously, is there any advice what I can do about this?

Thanks,
Ilion

You need to do a Cut and Clear spell kit; it will cut the bond between you and your friend.

Good luck,

Thanks Mary Bee!

I read the article, very nice! But is there some less ceremonial spell?
I have never done such kind of candle and all other stuff spells.
Can I do this with words only or less tools, only with Spirit?

Sorry if my question sounds stupid.

This Forum is to assist customers of Lucky Mojo Curio Company. If you want to pray without using any herbs, oils, etc., that is certainly your right, but that is not what we do here. Lighting a candle is not a "ceremonial" spell; it is actually quite simple, as Lucky Mojo vigil candles come dressed with oils, herbs, and prayer.

I know I need change but I'm not sure what to begin with.

My life feels like it is heading in a direction I don't want it to go but I feel I either lack the motivation or courage to change things.

My relationship has been a good one on its base level and I'm not sure if I'm seeing insignificant little things as big problems. His two kids are not terrible by any means but the connection is just not strong and he feels that I am not trying hard enough. We have been together for a year and a half and so much has changed.

I dropped out of school, which I believe would have happened anyway. I also went through a string of jobs, which is unusual for me, I like to stay in one place.

I am always broke and most of my bills are past due. I had excellent credit before this relationship.

The physical attraction has never been there but it hasnt been a problem up until now when I seemingly cant keep my thoughts where they belong.

I have even had to spend a week in a psych ward for depression.

I don't know if I am still with him because I am afraid to be alone or if there truely is not enough reason to leave and I just need a change in direction in another aspect of my life. I feel smothered and like my life is being drained away and I am only 21!

I dont want to feel like I have had to settle for less in anything but I find that I still dont have the courage to change anything.

He needs me. I am the only one with a car. I take him and his kids everywhere and help pay the bills.

We are truely compatible in other things such as our interests but I dont know if it is enough.

I am so confused. Do I need something to make me clear of mind so I will know what to do? Or do I need a mojo to help bring about change in general?

Get a reading: http://www.readersandrootworkers.org

It sounds like you need to take a hard look at your life and your relationship. It appears that you are staying with this man because he "needs" you.

The question is: What do you need? You chauffeur him and his kids around, you are not physically attracted to him, and are experiencing financial difficulties.

I would recommend a 13-herb bath to get rid of any negative energy from both outside sources and from within yourself. Clarity and King Solomon Wisdom supplies can help you see what path you should take. You are young; you can change your life for the better.

misty918,

And, after the 13-Herb baths, perhaps some Van Van or Road Opening along with the Clarity/Wisdom work?

I am concerned at your account of depression so severe that you were hospitalized in a psych ward for a week. This is severe. I agree that a reading is a good start, but every responsible and ethical reader would want to be assured that you are also receiving medical attention, including psychiatric treatment. Depression that severe is an illness, and we do not attempt to diagnose or treat disease.

Having said that, i would say that at your age, you do have a bright future before you. Bathe with Clarity Bath crystals, King Solomon Wisdom Bath Crystals, blended with 13 Herb Bath -- or a few drops of the oil of Clarity and King Solomon Wisdom added to the tea-bath made from the herbs. Pray for a release from your "stuckness" and for clear vision about the relationship as you bathe.

When you feel ready to get a new job and either move on from this relationship or commit yourself to it, then perform a simple Road Opener spell, perhaps at a rural crossroads, asking for your ways to be opened.

That's a lot of work to prescribe, and you are only 21 and fairly well lost at the present moment, which is why having a reader or rootworker is so important in your case. Choose one from a reputable organization, such as AIRR -- do not waste your money on psychic frauds.

Good luck to you.

Hey everyone, I have a friend who recently came to me with a problem. She is an empath and her husband has a very stressful job. Every time he comes home from a long day she picks up on it and then ends up as stressed or as tired as he is. I should also mention my friend has health problems and her husband is worried that the stress he is giving off will negatively affect her health. I don't want to do anything that could possibly create a rift between the two of them. I'm thinking cleansing baths for both of them and using peace water in the home. Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks :-)

He could take a Tranquility bath or light a Tranquility candle to deal with stress. A Healing bath and candle would be good for your friend.

Thanks for the advice. Could i lay down powder over the threshold of his home so when he passes over it; he enters, but the stress stays outside? Do you think the peace water would help? i have some coming in the mail, I'm new to this but could i use the peace water in their home to create a good atmosphere and to ease the stress and strain? will pass on the info to them about the baths/candles. thanks again.

Hi, Crow,

Maybe your empath friend could do work to protect herself from unintentionally absorbing the stress and negative stuff from others, especially her husband. Van van seems like it would be helpful.

Excellent advice, Miss cat. I have nothing to add but to recommend the Crystal Silence League, where you can get dozens of people praying for you all over the world.

Laila: Agreed, most folks I have know who were truly empathetic tried to shield themselves in one way or another. The husband and the wife could work on the problem together and get some spectacular results, I believe.

Joseph, what do your friends do? How do you shield yourself? Is it part of home protection? Do you bathe in something or carry something on your person? I feel like I pick up a lot of "junk" from others and would love to know how to keep that stuff from jumping on me.

I read on here somewhere that folks put Florida Water on the back of their necks and shoulders to clean off bad vibes and I have tried that ... but what other things can I do?
