Yes, that sounds like it is working well. I would be concerned with the leaking though and try to make it more airtight. I use Black Pepper myself.

I would agree with FeelingaPerfect7 on the specific issue of shaking the jar as "great therapy." Not only will your work be causing the conditions you have specified in your petition, but you will also benefit by the simple physical act of shaking the living hell out of that jar.

I've done the vinegar jar spell before. It kicked in real strong in the beginning. Now I still use it but it seems as if its not working. Are they good for only so long?

star77: I have found that the are as good for as long as you need them to be good. Are you using it as much as when you first started it? Pouring as much emotion into the work as you did at the outset? Some people do "refresh" their vinegar jars, but I have not have the need to do this myself.

Yea everytime I think of the person and get seriously angry I shake the hell out of the jar!! I feel the shaking method is a great way to shake things up and get the energies going.

@Joseph ....here is where I get a little stumped. I know Hoodoo does not at all follow the moon BUT I stopped burning candles on top of my jar once the new moon came because I was trying to draw in positive energy by doing positive workings on myself. You know, I figure negative and positive would cancel each other put. Weird way of thinking I know BUT now that the moon is almost Full, once it starts to Wane can I burn candles again or have I destroyed my work? My inner voice says I haven't but I'd like some input. Also I wanted to make a jar to cause financial discord. Can I put something symbolic in that jar like money or toy money

I don;t think you have destroyed your work. I would start it right up again and check. It should be fine.

I have a dilemma. if I burn candle on vinegar jar 9 night continuously,whether and how to do with honey jar on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays?

because with vinegar I work at night when my target is asleep and also that time it would be best to do with honey jar ... please help,any advice will be helpful

Are you working a Vinegar Jar AND a Honey Jar on the same target? Also, are you asking if you should burn candles on the Vinegar Jar on Monday, Wednesday, Friday as you would a Honey Jar? Please provide more clarity on the work you are doing.

yes,i do vinegar and honey jar for same target.i start with honey jar 2 months ago,and when arived my LM order with suplies like powders,oils and candles i start to prepare stuff for vinegar.i was waiting waning moon,so last night i was made vinegar jar and burn candle on top of them...i read on this forum,that best way,(when you made vinegar),is to do with it 7 or 9 days/night continuously,and after that only at thu and sat..so i dont know will i stop to burn candle on m/w/f for honey,till i finish that 9 night with vinegar.. i hope you understand me now,but english is not my native language and i don't know how to explaine better what i need:(

Hi, I created a vinegar jar on 2 people to cause discord 2 months ago with no movement

i used LM black dog and cat hair, red pepper, poppy seeds, LM coffin nails and lemon. I got a reading, it stated my jar would be slow working?? Slow as in 6 months i dont know. My question is should i dispose properly and re do it or keep it and b patient?? Thank u for your time!

Keep at it and be patient. If the reading stated the jar would be slow working, then why not lay down some additional tricks in the meantime? If you're physically able to be around these people, get some Break Up or Separation powders and sprinkle them down where they work or live. Sometimes it takes more than one trick to reach your goal

Thank you for your response.. i only shake it up on Tuesdays and Saturdays and i just went to shake it up and pray and half the vinegar has leaked out

i tried to seal the lid tighter it did no good it leaks when i shake it so i guess now i have no choice but to start over. And yes i have access to both parties involved so i will be ordering some more LM powders thank you..

Not sure about anyone else, but I just do them both. While you are doing your first 7-9 days of candle burning on the vinegar jar, you can also do Monday, Wednesday Friday on your honey jar. I do the honey jar before the vinegar jar. It will just require more of your time on those days. It's been a week since you posted this, though, so this reply may be useless.

Hi, everybody! Newbie here. I have a couple of questions.

I am going to start my first vinegar jar on Tuesday. (I want to start it sooner though... definitely tempted.)
I am going to keep it simple. Vinegar and some nails. Maybe some red pepper, I'm not sure.

I want two people who are friends to go their separate ways. Person A unfairly favors Person B over the rest of us.
Person B is a bully and a gossip.
(In addition to this, I plan to use the freezer spell on Person B.)

Here is what I was planning to do. Please tell me if it is correct:

I would like to take a piece of paper and write Person A's name on one end, in red (if I can find a red pen). Because I want them to stay.
Then I'll write Person B's name on the other end of the paper in black.

Then I plan to tear the paper down the middle. I thought it was good symbolism to do that.

Then just let the two papers float around in the jar.

Would this be a good technique? Or is the vinegar itself supposed to do that work? (Dissolving the paper.)

I also would like to write, generally, what I'd like to happen. Something to the order of: "Person A loses all respect for Person B, while Person B loses all interest in paying attention to or being around Person B."

Sound good?

And one more thing.... What should I say while making/sealing the jar? Any specific words?

I did a vinegar jar about 2 weeks ago and used a photo of both that was torn in half, vinegar, lemon, cayenne pepper, poppy seeds, pepper flakes, 9 nails, 9 pins, urine, my petition, and their names on back of the picture (his in red, hers in black). I burned a candle on top of lid anointed in vinegar and habenero sauce that I let burn down. There wasn't much wax left and the flame was bouncing quite a bit while burning. I only burned one candle on top and I shake it every day and curse their marriage.

I talk to him quite a bit but he never says how things are going between them but I feel deep down it is working because they have a shaky marriage anyway.

this was my first jar and I was wondering -- when would be a good time to deploy it?

Yeah, I think there are no hard rules. Just the basics. Like obviously, you don't want to add cat and dog hair to a honey jar, or conversely, deal with vinegar or lemon when you want to attract somebody. LOL

A little update.
If you read my first post (two posts above this one), I told you all, in basic terms, about my situation.

Well, I've done the freezing spell on Person B, as I intended. I'm a believer. I've only been following her online, but the past couple of days, she has been very quiet. Call it intuition, but I sense it's working. She literally seems frozen. Hasn't done much. I felt her presence and energy cease immediately. I can't fully articulate it. But I believe she is certainly gone, from MY world. And I don't think she'll have much success if and when she tries to penetrate it.

Thank you. It's going really well.

I've since put a few more people "on ice." We'll see how that goes. So far, so good, I think.

I did my vinegar jar just after midnight, which means it was actually on Wednesday.

Oh well. (Hey it was Tuesday in many parts of the world, still. haha) I kept it simple: 16 nails, the vinegar, and the piece of paper with the two names on opposite ends, turn in half. I chose 16 nails, because in numerology, 16 is a karmic number which means "abuse of love."

Shook it really well after, thinking of everything about the situation that bothers me. Will try my best to shake every Tuesday and Saturday, as well as whenever the mood strikes. Because I think infusing it with the emotion can only help. I pulled a couple of tarot cards on both people to see how it's going. The way they favor each other is already.... not great... according to the cards. So I think it's working already.

Hey... has anyone ever heard of an OIL AND WATER jar??
I just read up about that on another site. the idea is that oil and water don't mix. So if you want to separate two people, just put two names in a jar (on separate sheets of paper, I would assume) of oil and water, so that they just "won't mix."

Has anyone tried this? It's definitely good symbolism.
I think another effective way to do it would be to douse one paper with oil and the other with water before placing them in the jar, too.

Hi everyone,

I love working bottle spells, and have done a few each honey jars and vinegar jars. My question has to do with my most recent vinegar jar, which I started yesterday. When I looked at the bottle this evening it appears the contents have seperated in an odd looking (at least to me) way that I've not noticed before. I made it with the usual ingredients and in an almost empty Tabasco bottle, my container of choice for this type of work. Today I noticed there's a layer of red liquid at the bottom, and strangely a thick, distinct layer also the top of the bottle, with entirely clear liquid between the two. I've not seen this before, the contents of the jars I've done previously seemed to stay mostly evenly dispersed after shaking. So my question is whether I need to be concerned about the obvious strata evident in the bottle, or is this a good sign that seperation is occuring rapidly?

The separation of layers in your separation vinegar bottle does look encouraging -- but pull a few cards, or however you prefer to do a reading, just to make sure.

Actually I believe the trick to be well worked as late Wednesday, the day after I put the bottle together my lover, who is one of the targets, called me. He decided he wasn't having a lot of fun on a short holiday with his friend, the other target, and so came home a day early. I'll keep shaking the bottle for a while of course, at least until I've done a moving spell and maybe a nature tying one -- which may be topics for other threads. Right now it looks good, though.

Yes you can use the old jar. You can make a new one too, it's up to you. But if the old one was fine, I would save my time and just use it.

I've just started working in a vinegar jar, and while I was putting the photo of my ex into the bottle (a hot sauce bottle with a very thin neck so it was a squeez) the head part of his photo tore off. Then while putting the other woman's photo into the bottle it almost wouldn't budge. I now have three distinct marks on my right palm that form a triangle from the effort. Also te black candle is burning at a good pace but the flame is small but hasn't gone out. Just curious as to what other think these sign could mean. Personally I think the relationship is in his head (they use to go out almost 3 years ago) living in he past type and what was sort of deal, rather than what is.

When disposing of something in a graveyard, must it actually be in or on a grave? Or can it be anywhere near in graveyard, like along the edge by some trees or bushes or something?

If it has to be disposed of in a graveyard, and there is no other specifics involved in the spell, then generally in a graveyard (proper) would be appropriate. As long as it is IN the graveyard and not on the other side of the wall, just outside the graveyard or in the bushes BY a graveyard.

Hi All,

I am new to the forum. I started a vinegar bottle last Sat. I filled the bottle with vinegar but now the vinegar is like 1/3 gone.
There is no leak, in fact i tried to open it but it is sealed tight and there were no leaks. Is this normal? Also the candle light is steady, no flickers or anything.

Hello, I've been here before but lost track of my account information and had to create a new account.

I'm currently seeing T. He is/was involved with a young woman when we met, but they broke up and we remained together and by together still sleeping with each other.

There is also another woman in the UK he's supposedly in love with and she's been with him in a long distance relationship for years, before I or the ex were in the picture.

I've done a honey jar to sweeten him up to me, with real cinnamon, brown sugar, name paper, collected semen on a pieces of black clothing and menstrual blood. Now it works, he's extremely sweet but I want more.

He claimed he had feelings for me, was afraid of falling in love, and isn't in this just for the sex, so I did a break-up spellon him and uk girl. I used a bottle, vinegar, lemon, red hot peppers, names of both parties written 13 times behind each other upside down.

Last night he says that he suspects his ex of being responsible for him and his gf in the uk arguing so much, not knowing I was behind it all. He says a photo of the uk gf disappeared and given that the ex lived with him, he accused her of using it for mischief.

Meanwhile, the uk gf is relentless, she refuses to leave him.

I know that if I break him and uk girl I'll be in the clear.

I want to dispose of the breakup bottle but he lives in a small studio in a big apartment complex and I can't bury it where he'll step on it.

What if I sprinkled the contents in his front door where he'll step on it?

Or can I put a hole in the cap and throw it in the ocean (we live on an island)?

Which would have the best effect or should I try something more drastic to get rid of her?

If I may ask, which honey jar did you use?

Did you put nay personal concerns in the vinegar jar?

Also could you explain what you mean by writing name upside down?

Also I read somewhere that if you do a vinegar bottle spell, and put both persons names in it, the lives of both the persons you put in there will become sour.
And hence if you want one of those two you put in vinegar jar to keep close to yourself, you should not put that person in vinegar jar.

Can somebody confirm that please.

Is it okay to put both the couples photos in the vinegar jar? or just the person you want to get away from the guy?

I used a regular honey jar.

As for the vinegar jar I' don't have any of her concerns nor his, his woud be easier to get since he's here.
I only have her photos on facebook.

By upside down I meant, I wrote her name 13 times on 13 lines, turned the paper over and flipped it so in order to view either side properly you'd have to flip the paper right side up.

I thought that to sour reltionships both parties names were to be written?

Hello! Thank you for the response...

i was on my 6th day of the vinegar jar yesterday. I admit i was uneasy the whole day and angry over the situation.

When i came home i meditated to clear my head...pictured myself as a strong oak tree with roots deep into the ground before i started. I dressed the candle with separation oil and placed on top lighted. On the cover i had so much melted wax.

After the session, i stayed and watched the flames and thought about my intentions. after 5 mins or so i felt sooo drained and tired. i went to lie down in the sofa and fell asleep for 2 hrs. my candle was still burning (i used the 9"). When my candle burned, it burned all the way with only the wick left and burned.the surrounding melted wax melted as well and it dripped on the side following the contours of 1/4 of the cover on the side before it dripped down. The last couple of days it just melted with some drips on the side. It actually melted half of the melted wax from previous days!

I need guidance on this (this is my first vinegar bottle):

1. The only time i was drained was the first day and yesterday. BUT yesterday was very much unlike the first time. Is this normal?
2. Do i have to be angry every time i do this? Is the truthfulness of my intention not enough?
3. Is this a normal occurrence?

So instead of like flipping pages in a novel (Sideways), you flip it like in a yellow pad.

By which honey jar I meant, love honey jar/influence honey jar or reconciliation honey jar. Based on your description of the situation it looks like you did a love honey jar.

Did you add anything other than what you mentioned (cinnamon, brown sugar etc), like did you add any of the love or reconciliation or influence sachet powders to your petition paper or oils to the candle?

No, I added no other ingredients besides the ones mentioned though I did burn a candle beside it along with reciting a psalm.

Every now and then I get a pot, fill it with water and sit the jar in it to heat it up and even get a utensil to stir the contents around.

What you describe as "disposing"of the break-up bottle is not disposing of it. You are not disacarding it. You are deploying it -- putting it into action in the world. It leaves your altar, and works in the world.

When deploying a bottle spell that should be stepped over by the target, try being a little inventive.

Get a potted plant, something nice that is easy to take care of and won't die easily with neglect.

Put the remains buried in this plant, and give it to your target as a gift.

That way he will end up taking care of the spell and nuturing it himself.

i think you need to gain more understanding about what a break up spell is and how it works. No matter whether it is made with vinegar or eggs or dog and cat hair, OF COURSE you put both names in it! That's who you want to have fight.

Thank you for the response... re: # 2 comment, how do I deal with this (protecting myself and my abode)? I am still awaiting for my LM orders.

Hello Everyone,

This may have been posted previously - this is a long thread - and I may have missed it.

My question is about after writing the names of the individuals on the backs of their photos - I want to burn them and add them to the vinegar jar mixture. Would it be better to burn the photo and dispose of ashes in the same place I dispose the vinegar upon completion of my ritual?

Also, I was told this vinegar jar work and would like to know if anyone has used it with success or not.
First use a baby food jar, add sand, cut the photo up with all of the information on the back, put in vinegar with 1/2 Tsp of Ammonia and dispose of ritually.

I read the laying tricks and I have a small question.
If I do a vinegar jar and want to keep one person close and the other to go away, after doing the vinegar jar for their relationship, does sinking the bottle by making a tiny hole in the cap signify as the sinking and death of their relationship or sinking and death of both the people involved (whose names are involved in the vinegar)?

Also, if you mix ammonia and vinegar together they will neutralize each other and form ammonium acetate. This is not at all what I want to happen to my vinegar jars. Where has this information been coming form?

newbie: It depends on if the vinegar jar is to sour the relationship or to sour the names involved. If it is for souring the relationship then it will effect the relationship.

Actually, he believes his ex is working hoodoo to break him and his UK gf up!
If I give a potted plant he'll for certain dig it out to find out what's in it so I'll opt for ocean deployment.

Vinegar jars are excellent. I made one prior to this using dog and cat hair, hot pepper, vinegar and lemon slices.
The fights between them were horrifying!
I always made certain I was angry when I worked the bottle, burned a candle and recited a psalm.

Ps: my lover's name's in the vinegar jar, if deployed in the ocean will it send him away?

I heard it as a verbal 'passing' of information and after I posted it was clarified that Devil's Dung was used - not sand. (Apologies) also, that it was the ingredients that that person used. I was just curious.

One more thing - would it be better to rip the pictures and put in the vinegar jar or can i burn them and place ashes in the jar?
