I hope I'm posting this in the right place. I am doing a vinegar jar tonight to break up my ex with his current gf. While he is not blameless, she consistently pursued him during our entire relationship. We broke up for other reasons and he did try to get back with me, but foolishly I wanted him "wait longer" ha! He didn't and move on to the one he could easily have. So my question is. I have a real lack of privacy. I have my own place, but spend many nights with my mother and the distance between the two would not make it possible to go home to shake my jar a couple of times a week. My mother's place is small and it would be easily found. Could I keep it at work, under my desk and shake it during the day and before I leave. They work near each other so they are together during the day. I just want to make sure having the jar with me at work will not cause any discord between me and my colleagues.

I forgot to order the black cat and dog hair - but my jar will have - break up oil, separation oil, 4 thieves vinegar, regular vinegar, confusion oil, war water,9 pins, 9 needles, 9 nails, her picture, his picture,...I received a bunch more stuff that I am not remembering now - any other ingredients I'm missing

Hi,
Yes you can take it to work. Just put it in a plastic bag just in case it leaks, with foil all around it. So, they can't see it. And shack it as much as you can. I took mines to work and shuck it up. As much as I could. I told my co workers it was a diet drink. And 2 weeks later his wages were garnished. I had tried for 2 years to garnish his wages the right way and nothing was working but the vinegar jar did it for me.

Hi, all,

I'm doing a vinegar jar to help someone I like stay away from a, to put it nicely, crappy person. I'm following the basic guidelines listed toward the bottom of this page: http://www.luckymojo.com/castoffevil.html

I plan to write his name in red and the command to stay away from her in black. Now, when it says to write the command across the other person's name nine times, would I write it over their name directly or turn the paper and write it over it so that the end result looks like a tic-tac-toe grid (as when preparing a honey jar petition)?

Also, would having their names on the same paper, even in the form of commanding him to stay away from her, unwittingly bind them? I don't think I would need to put their names on separate pieces of paper, as they are not a couple, shouldn't be and, by the grace of God, hopefully never will be.

In addition to the vinegar jar on him to cast off her influence (I decided to just do it grid style and not be all over technical about it), I started one on her containing the following:

Her name on a paper nine times with my petition
Red pepper
Black pepper
Poppy seeds
Salt
Alum
Lemon juice
9 needles
9 pins
9 nails
9 double-edged razorblades

I added the vinegar, shook that sucker up, getting out my aggression...and in a matter of seconds, her name paper was absolutely obliterated. It just looks like a bunch of spices and sharp objects. I am taking this as an excellent sign that justice will be served. Mama's servin' up b**** stew...anyone want a bite?

Hi All,

After going through the entire thread twice (Cant believe it took me two weeks

), i have the following questions that are not answered earlier or i may have probably missed it.

1) When it comes to personal concerns of the target can the following be considered to add in the vinegar jar - I have his handwriting (Just two lines) and a necklace of holy beads of his religion GOD that he wore for about 2 months & gave it to me as good luck while parting ways.
Since its holy i am not sure if i can use it in the jar.

2) I am planning to do the jar work in the garage to avoid the negativities at home. Jus wanted to know do i need to clean the entire garage everytime before burning the black candle on the jar. My garage is a home to cobwebs & dirt every two days. Are there any other place suggestions where i can do my dirty work?

3) Do i need to burn the black candle on top of the jar directly or i can use a candle holder? Can i use birthday candles with a candle holder or do i need to only use the stand alone candles. Its a herculean task to find black stand alone candles and that too cheaper ones.

Any help will be appreciated

My advice:

1) Use the handwriting, not the holy beads.

2) Work in the garage and clean it up after you are finished.

Ok, I did the jar yesterday. I put into:

Chilli pepper
Red hot pepper
Black pepper
Poppy seads
9 old rusty nails
9 needels
9pins

Each time saying for what eacj ingredient is. At the end i put the vinegar. As total all is big pulp what in fact gives me happy, becaue each time i am shaking it I imagine they are swimmint into thier hateness and cannot move and its overhelming them.

I put thie photo of my ex, her name, date of birth, her hair and petition written on the back of the photo. As I dont know the name of her current guy, I just wrote "the man from city XX who is meeting with YY, having sex with her and going on holidays" I also wrote the petition on the back side.

The petition for them was like "XX you hate YY. You are arguin all the time, you cannot talk, you dont want to see each other, and the only solution is brake-up and never communicate again".

As it is pulp it's little hard to shake, but I put a lot of emotions into it imagining how this hot and nasty stuff is gointo into their relationship. I store it in black sack in cabinet located in the basement. I didn't burn the candle uet, because I needed to do it fast while they were together during this weekend. I know that ink to her guy is weak, but link to her in very strong and I am shaking it like a crazy guy.

As well I am doing also the cigarette-pan spell with heating them on the pan, and after the heating I keep their baptized representation full of cayenne and chilli in the poppy seeds, so they cannot communicate after having an terrible argue

I hope it will work fast and doing the two spells will increase a lot the power of each of them.

Guys, I started my jar today & burnt the candle anointed with lemon juice. My candle was a 4 inch taper candle. The candle flame was high & burnt very fast. But i have a lot of puddle of wax all over the lid & my jar. The wax is hanging on my jar making two straight lines along with covering the entire lid with it. Dont know what does it mean.
What shud i do with the wax? I searched this entire thread but couldnt find any answers
Any help will be appreciated

I also ordered the reading about my situation from Rootworkers site with getting back ex and braking her relationship. I have never before been doing hoodoo, but I am amazed by the simplicity of it and success rate.
After reading I want to buy brake-up oils to increase the jar, as well as the skull candle with love oils to get her back.

EDIT:
I read somewhere here that heating the vinegar jar can increases a lot the power of it. Can anybody confirm this?

Hi vitax,

Burning a candle over the jar (or in the mouth if it isn't closed yet) can put heat on the situation. Heating it can do so as well (since that what heating the jar does - it doesn't make it more powerful - it just puts added heat on the situation which may make things move faster).

BUT: heating is more delicate with this kind of job that with a honey jar since vinegar jars can accumulate vapours that make it more likely the jar will be damaged (or burst - worst case scenario) which would not at all help your cause. Stick to shaking and burning candles if it's your first. If you do want to heat it, consider getting a short magical coaching session first to get clear on the dos and donts, most AIRR members offer them.

Can I - as addition to the vinegar jar, put my ex (on which I am doing also love spells) in a freezer (do the freezer spell) and write something like "I put you in the frezer to cool down all your love feelings to your boyfriend so all your emotions to him left you and you will left him and stay away from him"

I know that this is not reccomended to put the one you want back into the freezer, but as I am working on separating them, so can this be a good idea? I need to freeze her away from him, and I cannot work on her boy because I do not have any links to him.

Or this will weaken the vinegar jar?

Hi vitax,

don't put your ex in the freezer if you're trying to get him back. You can put your ex's love interest into the freezer to freeze their interest - just keep the guy you want out of it.

And one spell doesn't ''weaken'' another unless it has the opposite effect entirely. The vinegar jar sours people to each other and makes them fight whereas the freezer spell makes them cold and distant and/or stops them in their tracks. You can see therefore how this might be complementary with regards to the person causing trouble to the couple.

Yes, this is what I was thinking, that the frezer will do the opposite to the vinegar jar. So I will only heat-up and will be burning the black candle antoined with vinegar and hot pepper. I read about heating on the other occult forum, where it was posted by ConjuremanAli.

Except burning the brake-up and confusion candles by MISC, do you know any other way to increase the power of jar? I do not have the oils yet, but after 5 days after doing the jar I got the reading that the jar is doing some mess around them but by itself is to weak to brake them up. Maybe it was to early to do the reading, but I needed the reading fot other things also.

Hi vitax,

That the jar is creating a mess but is too ''weak'' to break them up doesn't mean you need a more powerful jar (there isn't one by the way - it's not like Final Fantasy where you can use more materia to juice up a spell) - it usually means you need to work the problem from a number of angles at once. If the reading was with an AIRR worker, they're all proficient rootworkers and can give you the extra spell-work needed to help with your desired outcome: you just need to ask. It's also only been 5 days: give your work a bit of time!

That said, when undertaking a break up to get a lover to return, it's often standard to work a full break-up spell (candle work as well as the vinegar jar or bottle spell) as shown here: http://www.luckymojo.com/spell-break-up.html along with a sweet jar on the desired party or a full reconciliation or come to me spell depending on what the situation is.

In addition to having MISC back you up with candles, it's also possible to have a Rootworker back you up with additional spell work.

All of this will ultimately depend on how much time and investment you're willing to make: since sometimes the best decision hard as it can be, is to cut and clear and move on to better horizons.

And I am waiting for second reading, because the first reader proposed only reconciliation spell for me and prices were to high for me.
Yes, and my question was for the attacking it from different angels when I was writing about reinforcement, maybe I just not stated it clearly.

And I did tbe picture box and I have different types of love spells set-up by MISC and I am doing love spells by myself.

I'm looking for information I haven't found here so far. What are the advantages, if any, of continuing to work a vinegar bottle in the home? Disadvantages to keeping it a while? I understand a honey jar is well kept in the home, but is a breakup bottle better sent out to work immediately, or does it also need time to be effective? jwmcclin I feel it's not good to keep the bottle for long, but I read the page and it the information it provides seems to encourage keeping the bottle around for a while.

"A black candle inscribed with the people's names written back-to-back (to separate them) may be burned in the mouth of the bottle before it is sealed. After it is prepared it can be buried at their home where they will step over it or it can be shaken up daily as you name them and call down curses on their relationship.

Also there's a section devoted to Shaking Spells, which includes spells containing vinegar.

So how is "once the work you intended is complete" defined? Is it once you've attained your objective, as that could take a long while. If you follow the 3 days 3 weeks 3 months rule, at what point do you rid yourself of the bottle? I'm sorry if I'm overlooking something obvious. I do tend to overthink sometimes, but it's important to me that I get this right.

the definition of ''once the work you intended is complete'' is either once the job is done (the spell), or once the work is successful. Some keep shaking a bottle until they get strong signs of fighting between the targets, then deploy. Others continue shaking until the break-up (or goal of the vinegar jar is complete) and then deploy. Others work for a fixed number of days and then deploy - usually by burial in a location where the targets will walk over it, or in their front yard to continue drawing the discord to their front steps. None of the choices is ''more right'', they depend on the spell you are working and/or how you were taught.

Hello! I was thinking of doing a vinegar jar to sour the relationship of my recent ex and the girl who stole him away. As I have been planning, strange occurrences have been happening and I was hoping for some opinions on them! 1. Two days in a row while walking home from the train from work (I live in a big city) I was pondering how I was going to get my hands on seemingly more difficult supplies quickly, Ex. black dog hair. I don't have access to any black dogs at the moment, not without breaking and entering

JUST as I was thinking this, I literally looked up and There it was! A black dog and it's owner walking towards me! The NEXT DAY, I was thinking about another thing I wanted to get while again, walking home and as I'm watching the ground pondering, I look right, and there it is, RIGHT THERE. Are these signs that I meant to do the vinegar jar? that I will be successful? Literally, It was seconds between thought and manifestation of the supply. It was spooky

Also, EARLY on in dating, this guy and I had taken a 2 week break for a bit an one particular night when I was ESPECIALLY bummed out about it, I decided to stay in and watch Animal Planet's "Too Cute" to cheer myself up, Cheesy, yes I know. However, we got back together very shortly after. Well, this past Saturday, despite being out doing things with good friends, I was again feeling particularly mopey and when we got back to my place, I turned on the tv and saw it was on again and flipped to that. It was the EXACT SAME episode I watched before! These occurred the better part of a year apart though! It just found it a really interesting thing.

"To lay the trick or deploy the fixed container, it may be shaken, thrown into running water, thrown into a crossroads, buried under the doorstep or walk-way path, thrown over their roof, broken, or, in the case of a lemon, cut and the juice squeezed behind the one you want to have get away." I'm going to go ahead and assume that your ex and his girlfriend don't live together in the same apartment, so if you can't bury the vinegar jar at their work where they'll both step over it, then you can deploy it in one of the other methods listed. http://www.luckymojo.com/bottlespells.html

As far as how long you should keep the bottle and shake it, I tend to hang onto them at least several days to get them good & charged before deploying. Depending on how pissed you are, you may only need to shake it once in the evening and once the next morning to get it humming.

Thank you, Zolakathryn. I have actually read that page multiple times but I guess I was a bit confused by it. The issue is, I want HER to get away, but I definitely do not want him too so I feel throwing it in water or breaking at crossroads isn't the best choice if I understand that right. I DON'T want him to leave but since their both in the jar, wouldn't it have the same effect on both? Work is a difficult option bc we live in Chicago and our work is on Michigan ave which is very busy...and very all concrete. No dirt to bury things in

it has a whole lemon in it cut in half. I was thinking of pouring a good portion of the contents out in the pathways In front of both their houses making sure a lemon half gets left at each location and for a little oomph pouring some out across the work back door where everyone enters. Does that sound like a good idea? Do I say anything while deploying? Or just pour and walk away? Thanks!

Also, anyone have thoughts on the other stuff I mentioned? Thank you!

Hi, I have a traditional vinegar jar in progress, but I was thinking about purchasing some oils to add to its effect. I was going to buy some Break Up Oil for sure. May I also add Influence Oil in order to make suggestions when I speak to it?

Working a vinegar jar to break up a couple. One i'd like to keep around. the other i plan to do a separate hotfoot bottle for.
If I deploy in water, (a huge river) with a hole in the bottle so it'll sink with the strong intent that it only signifies the "sinking of the relationship" will that be good for NOT sending the half of the couple id like to keep around away?

The BEST option would be to deploy at their work bc they both will come in contact but being as there is no ground, only concrete, I'm not sure how to do this. There is a back door that EVERYONE walks through so if it's deployed around there, it would be best.

If I can smash or pour the bottle across the back door I can be assured both will cross it. If I try to bury it in the small patch, no one walks there, but the guy does sit on the ledge by it to smoke and she walks past it on the way in but a good 30 feet away. She does not smoke. What can I do?? Can it be poured? Thanks!!!

I have a vinegar job that i shake daily. But it started leaking not from the lid. But it had a weird hole on the side as a Big as a dime and the vinager was gone a little leaked out. I did not crack it or drop it. I poored it in a new jar i added more vinegar and rust.

Wow, that's weird! Could be that there's a lot of resistance from your target.
I hope that you cleansed the area that leaked this with something like Chines Wash, or Florida water, or something that will spiritually cleanse it (in addition to washing).

I made a vinegar jar a few days ago. I did it myself of a chilli pepper jar with some of the chilis, vinegar, lemon, pepper, nails, broken glass, razor blades, but I also used LM products both inside and on the candles that I burn.

It is for a man I had a kind of relationship with, haven´t seen him for a month, different cities, but I suspected he started a ´normal´relationship with another woman. I knew her full name and details, found photos and made the jar.
I ve been shaking it, cursing the relationship 2-3 times a day, and once a day I light a black candle. I'm doing it for a few days though.

Today I talked with the guy and he confirmed he has a relationship with another woman, and he wants us to be in friendly terms from now on.
I was disappointed. Is there any advice?
I will continue working with the jar, I have also a honey jar for him and me and decided to work them separetely, according to moon phases.

Can I work them together, regardless the moon phase to empower them more?
And the vinegar, should I continue till they break up? I know other people work with them for a few days and then dispose the, either closed to target's house or by breaking it in a crossroad etc.
It would be difficult to dispose at their place, I don't know where the woman lives, and the guy lives in an appartment so the only thing I can do is spread the content at the doorstep?

I am so sorry that this man is with a different woman.
This is what I would do (if this were me). I would continue the break-up jar and get the Lucky Mojo break-up kit. www.luckymojo.com/spell-break-up.html I really like this kit, especially the fact that it has dog and cat hair (so that they'll fight like cats and dogs)
I would concentrate ALL OF MY ENERGY on these 2 break-up spells until the spell from the kit is complete. Then, yes you can dispose of it any way that you mention (but I personally would break the jar on his property while getting mad and cursing their relationship. Hopefully, he'll touch something while picking up the mess and, therefore, being really bitter toward her).
Then, you assume that the spell has worked and not worry about when the break up is going to happen and start working on the honey jar love spells for you and him.
That way, we can try to avoid him being "torn" between you and the other woman (by doing 2 completely different spells at the same time)
Just my thoughts.

When creating a vinegar jar spell do you sour the target only or place both parties in the vinegar jar together? Souring just the one you want to go away to fuss & argue with mate for the outcome of a break up? I would appreciate some input on this. I enjoy reading the forums everyone at lucky mojo are so awesome.

So I've been working a vinegar jar for a while now and also did a 7 day spell in conjunction with it. Finished up both last night. Burned a candle on the jar and it caught the entire top of the jar on fire! It's the same candles I've been using previously with no problems like this. There was a decent amount of wax build up on the jar lid but again, nothing even close to this has never happened before. It covered the entire large lid with huge, popping flames that concerned me so much that I poured water over it to put it out. Maybe I shouldn't have done that but hey, safety first. No point in doing the work if it burns my apartment down!

Anyway, I have never had this happen before and I was wondering what could have caused it? What it might mean? I've tried to look for answers but haven't found anything quite like this. Also, there was no herbs on top of the jar, just an anointed and dressed candle and wax. Thank you!

Hi,

Thanks in advance for taking the time for reading my question.
I did a vinegar jar spell to "flip" a situation around.
I did burn a black candle on the top of it & after the candle finished burning-
The wax on the jar was left in the shape of a heart.

Can anyone help me to understand what the heart represents on a vinegar jar spell.
I was thinking, okay- this would be a good sign during a love spell- but what in the world is the representation here!

Thanks for the quick reply-

Right now my daughter is with her father who has rejected her for around 6 years & now all of a sudden- he is accepting her & she wants to remain with him.
A call to the local child protective services has been made with false acuactions against me for child abuse & that is the reason she is still with him.
The investigation isn't over yet- but she does want to remain with him.
He has had minimal contact with her for 6 yrs and it was even at the point of emotional abuse against her.

So- I read that when you turn a vinegar jar upside down- it can also turn the situation upside down. So I did it with the intent that she would want to come home with me & my other children.

I am hurting so bad & just so unsure of why the heart was there.

Where did you read this? I am curious as I have not seen that piece of information before. The vinegar jars I personally do are not in any way about turning a situation upside down, but to sour a person or situation completely and utterly.

Hi All,
i wasnt sure whether to post this on this thread or the baths washes thread

I have been doing Vinegar jar since two months & have observed that after shaking the jar violently, cursing it & burning the black candle over it, i always fight with others or get violent & all bad things start to happen to me. I feel negative all the time after working on it.In fact whatever curse i call upon the jar seems to somehow happen to me.

I have read about cleansing but i thought its reqd only after sum serious spell work. Also after reading the thread, i havent noticed anyone talk about cleansing after working on vinegar jar.

Any advice would be welcome. If i need to do cleansing then how may times & with what? I was thinking to order chinese wash. Cn i tak bath with chinese wash to do cleansing?

Thank You Miss Aida for the prompt response.
I havent put anything of mine though I wrote the DOBs behind the photos of the parties so it contributes to my handwriting going into it.
Is there any other possibility of me attracting negativity?

I jus had a small piece of handwriting of both the parties & have put that in the jar. That was the only personal thing i had of theirs. Also it wud be almost impossible to get another one cos we live in different countries & kind of may not get it again.
Do you still want me to dispose it?

Hmmm...Your handwriting should not have anything to do with this. Are you doing this jar on someone who is attuned to magic? Maybe they have a reversing spell to protect themselves? Or maybe a protection spell? So, anything that is done to them bounces back to you. It could be anything. I don't know.
But, if this were me, and it was affecting me so negatively, I would dispose of the jar. I would find a different type of spell.
HOWEVER, you don't have anything else of theirs. Therefore, I would highly suggest a reading to find out why this is happening and to see if you need to "Amend" the jar or dispose of it. That would be my suggestion. We have great psychic here www.hoodoopsychics.com or 1-888-4-HOODOO
In the meantime, don't shake the jar.

Miketyson27, I'm going to go out on a limb here...Perhaps what is happening isn't magic related, but energetic. What I mean by this is that you are holding on to this anger after your working and therefore, it is affecting your life afterwards. All the anger and cursing needs to go into the bottle, but maybe you are holding on to some of this after you are doing the shaking and this residual energy is causing these problems. You might try a wash or running yourself through an Uncrossing incense after shaking the jar. This isn't traditional Hoodoo now, but I have seen people who are so angry that they are unable to let go of that anger and the curse work ends up "sticking" to them after they do their magical process.

I also agree with Miss Aida that the person you are working against could be doing Reversing work or there could be something else afoot. A reading would really be able to help you determine what is happening and give you some options on how to move forward.

Hello LM Family,

I started my vinegar bottle (upside down) the day before (9/4/13) the new moon. The day before, the day of the new moon and the day after the new moon, I was shaking and lighting the upside down black candles (dressed with LM hotfoot/break-up powder/oil) one after another in these 3 days and thereafter, I light one candle a day. I figured I will just use up all my candles.
I was disheartened because there were so many left over melted candles but I persisted. The last 3 days, the melted candles have been melted on top and only burned wicks remained on the bottom of the bottle.
Today, I lighted 1 of 2 last candles but an hour ago, my bottle broke

The bottom of the bottle (since I placed it upside down), broke on the left side and left a hole in there. No fluid leaked since the bottle was only 3/4 full.

should I make another one? I saw this as a good sign and I thought I should continue on it for good measure BUT I need input IF I should.
I am still waiting for my scheduled reading which is the end of Sept.

Can you suggest any baths or washes from LM. I generally feel negative energies around me even if im not working on my vinegar jar or other stuff. Also if you can suggest any baths or wash other than hyssop herb that i can easily use while bathing after working the jar.

I did go through the LM Store but got confused with which one to buy that is relevant for me.
