Introduction / Rootworker Doing Honey Jar
I'm new to this, and where I am, it''s quite difficult for me to do spells of my own.
Long story short, I was what you could say, in a long distance relationship with someone. A misunderstanding happened, drama happened and she went with someone else. I've been blocked on social networking sites, and don't have her current phone number.
Almost a week ago, I've had a spell caster do a honey jar spell, and aura cleansing (for the girl), to sweeten her towards me. Honestly, her current man is a hood rat and doesnt want anything good for her.

Hi rookieguy,
Welcome.
I'd just relax and let the rootworker do his/her thing.
Good luck,
Mary Bee

Welcome to the Lucky Mojo Forum. We hope all goes well with your rootworker,. We are a repository for information on old-school Hoodoo and conjure. Aura cleansings are no quite up our alley, although of course we have heard of them. The theory of he aura, as i understand it is a metaphysical concept about a sort of spiritually active cloud or mist that surrounds every living being.
We deal more with contact magic, such as foot track work, tricks placed in food, and the like, and with proxy or symbolic work, such as the honey jar.
If you have ANY questions at all about laying tricks or throwing roots, please, just ask!

Here is some info on how the Forum is set up. It is divided into four parts:
1) News and Announcements about the Lucky Mojo Curio Company and this site.
2) Lucky Mojo Spiritual Supplies and how to use them, listed in threads by product type and product title.
3) Life Conditions and Situations, with recommended Lucky Mojo products, spells, and advice.
4) The Online Hoodoo Community, including sites, events, and outreach sponsored by Lucky Mojo.
When you post, it helps your moderators, who are recompensed volunteers, if you post in the area of the board that is best suited to the archival of your question or comment. That way moderators will not have to move your post or merge it into ongoing threads.
If you can't find a post you made, it may have been moved or merged. Go to your profile by clicking on your name and "search recent posts" -- you will find it.
Within each board section there are STICKY threads -- ones that always stay "stuck" to the top. These are popular discussion-threads that you can read and add to if your questions or comments fall into one of these oft-broached topics. If you don't see a "sticky" that relates to your question, feel free to start a new thread in the relevant section.

We do have a few "thou shalt not" rules here, and they can be found in the Forum Rules link at the top of each page. Most important for newbies are these four common errors to avoid:
1) Please do not come here asking for our formulas for conjure oils or for instructions on how to use spiritual supplies that you bought at a grocery store or at a competitor of ours; this is the Lucky Mojo Forum and is financially supported by the Lucky Mojo Curio Co.
2) Please do not spam the moderators by sending multiple duplicated private messages asking for personal help outside the board; many of our moderators do perform readings and rootwork spell-casting for clients, but they are professionals and you should approach them as you would any other professional.
3) Please do not post illegal copies of material from other web sites or from books.
4) Please do not post put-downs of any group of people based on their religion, race, or national origin, including derogatory comments about religions to which you may have previously been an adherent or comments in which you seek to falsely conflate any religion with the practice of evil sorcery.
Enjoy!

Re: Introduction / Rootworker Doing Honey Jar
Thank You very much for the replies, I really appreciate it. I'm a "lost soul" in these things. It's something I've taken a sudden interest to, and haven't discussed it with anyone. None of my friends and family believe in it. I started believing about 5 months ago, but my interest sparked more about a month ago.
At one point I was going to try and do one myself with the kit provided by this website; http://www.luckymojo.com/honey-jar-spel ... ation.html but I thought a rootworker may be more powerful, as I'm new to it. I originally found her on Fiverr, she did a reading for me, and then mentioned her rootworking. She offered to do one for me if I sent extra on any gig (didn't matter), so she could buy the materials. About 5 days later she provided a picture of the honey jar she created, I'm guessing there was a fair amount of candles on the jar, from what I can make out, I can see the jar, candles and 2 blazing lights.
I will definitely look up on the threads in my spare time when I get time alone. I personally don't want my friends/family knowing as they will just judge and whatnot. My rootworker told me to just focus on myself now, except every couple of days or so I just feel down knowing the situation, and what could have happened if others never interfered between us.

Hi rookieguy13,
I'm so sorry you are having this experience.
Mary Bee gave you great advice to relax and let the rootworker do his/her thing.
Also, reading the links Catherine Yronwode gave you will be enlightening.
You can do the spell kit you bought along with what the rootworker is doing to add extra
power to the situation since you are personally involved. I have faith in you.
My sense is that you have a knack for rootwork.
God Bless,
Susan

Oh, I can do it too? I didn't know, I thought more than 1 may cause a problem or maybe have no effect, depending on the situation. She told me she bought her kit from Lucky Mojo.

Re: Introduction / Rootworker Doing Honey Jar
Okay, makes sense.
I was also wondering, are the herbs for each type specific? Or could you put your own stuff? Like, what would I do for love?
