You should watch and wait for signs after the work is completed to see how it going to go. then keep up the work. If you interpret every song you hear on the radio as a sign then you will drive yourself crazy. In a given hour you can hear a love song, break up song, song about lust, etc. 3 post up you had good signs with his name, now you want to know if you should give up!? Break up and rec work takes time and effort and energy and a stable mind. you cant be wish washy or thats is exactly like the results you will get. Get a reading from an AIRR worker, even if its just a quick 10 min check in to see whats going on and ease your mind.

I was reading over Cat Yronwode's extensive post wherein she explains the real background of the oft-misquoted 3 day/3 week/3 month 'guideline,' and it got me thinking about something.

Most of us have read or heard about situations where we are doing work on a target and we very much want to believe we are going to get (or might even think we are getting) positive signs and movement, but... when we get a reading from our rootworker, they don't see our wishes coming to fruition and we are advised to give up on the target, do a cut and clear, etc.

I'm curious to know how often people have experienced the opposite, i.e. doing work on a target (love-drawing, recon, communication, etc.) and receiving few signs, or no signs at all, let alone any actual movement of any kind, even after a couple of months have passed (at which time I would normally assume that the trick didn't work/the work hasn't had any effect)....BUT, your rootworker/reader still states that the situation looks good, progress is being made, results will come, etc.?

I would imagine the latter is less common than the former, but is it?

I have been having a sequence of Come to Me candles burned for me with the petition "I wish to draw my ideal mate out of the universe." The way the candles have been burning indicates resistance due to past issues and also opposition to my will. It was suggested to me that I instead burn some Road Opener candles to overcome these obstacles.

I am still hung up on a guy who became angry with me for various reasons and decided not to ask me out. Is it possible that although my petition asks for no one in particular, really the magic is getting directed toward him because he is on my mind so much, and he is resisting? Pretty sure I need a reading.

I think your suspicions are correct, Zoe.

Also, a reading is a good idea because you can use it to uncover the roots of your obsession with this uncooperative guy.

You can also do some King Solomon Wisdom or Clarity work on yourself.

Quick question for everyone regarding a come to me/love spell I did on my target from about 3 months ago. Ever since i completed the last work on him, I've seen or heard his name pop up in many places almost daily however, I haven't heard from him at all. I moved away about 30 mins but plan on returning hopefully next week. I recently had a dream about him last week & it involved him wanting me & us hanging out, etc. I woke up missing him which is strange bc I haven't really been thinking about him at all... what's going on?

After doing work in hoodoo we watch and wait for signs and movements. hearing his name and dreaming of him and you seems to be a sign to the work and that you should keep up on working on him and ask now for movement not signs.

I was just wondering on average how long does it take to get a response (specifically candle report) from MISC?

I put an order on January 16 and I haven't heard anything. I sent an email last week in regards to my order but it hasn't been acknowledged (no response). I only ordered one intranquility candle.

I know they don't send any confirmation (my receipt is my confirmation), but how long will I need to wait until I receive my report?

Question... I Know I'm seeing signs of my breakup (vinagar jar) spell... I'm also doing a skull on my ex's current gf, but haven't worked on my honey jar on him (candles) this wanning moon, but I do have one going.
Anyways I keeps seeing his name, it just pops up and I've had a dream of him yesterday. I also saw his name and hers on one paper yesterday... That was weird, I also keep seeing a car like hers everywhere... What could this mean? If I saw his name and hers on a paper (there was names in between them tho) does that mean my vinegar jar is working... It should be right? Why do I keep seeing a car similar like hers... I'm working a skull on her to break her up with him.

they are signs to the work so you need to interpret the signs. Like the names on the paper, what was the contect of the names.. wax it joe and amanda wed (bad sign) was it joe and amanda sueing ( good sign)? If neither then I would see it as a sign that they are still one ( on the same paper) and seeing her car would be a sign she is going to fight the work as she keeps "popping up" ( the car).

Not sure if this is the correct thread...

My spells seem to be a bit odd. I've done a number on two girls, the recent one I see her name pop up everywhere lately (maybe different spellings). I thought that was positive. However, the opposite constantly seems to happen... Like I had a communication spell, but she's ignoring me? A few others seem to have the opposite effect. I thought maybe someone did one on me, but my worker has done both readings and cleansing (even some on one of the girls without me asking).

The other I've got a communication and honey jar... She blocked me.

It's causing me to stress now, which probably doesn't help at all..

I see movement but not in the way I want...

rookieguy13, with all due respect, you may be sabotaging your work without realizing it. Of course I don't know you or the girls you're working on, so I can't be any more precise. But I'm thinking of things like this:

You guys wanna hear something funny. I have a note book with a small puc I have of my ex that I have been using in spell work. This morning when I woke up his puc was laying on the floor next to where I sleep, but other loose papers were still in the notebook. I am definately taking this as a sign, and when I had the church burn candles for him I was sneezing the next day non stop.

Signs have been slow in surfacing during my break-up/love work. But last night I had the most vivid dream, that certainly feels like a sign.

We were on his motorcycle together, stopped at a red light, and he looked over his shoulder and said "You go home tomorrow." I said, "I know, I don't want to. I wish we had known each other this well years ago." He said, "Yeah, but remember we're liking each other now, who knows what would have happened back then. I would say we'd do this or that, and we never did. Now at least we're doing the stuff I say. But I feel so ... fragmented ... I love our time together, but don't want to be apart at all when you leave."

Now, this *could* be a manifestation of my feelings, because it sure is spot on, but I haven't had a word for what I'm feeling. I woke from the dream truly feeling as though he's feeling close to the same way I am in regard to our relationship. I'm at ease with the work in a way I haven't been for weeks.
Now, if the rest of my supplies would ever show up ... time to quick it into high gear

Thanks for your reply. I spoke to my worker, she said I try too hard. Still, the way she's acting lately makes me believe she's not interested. Not being negative. It's just I've seen a lot more negative than positive signs. Hopefully I'll get a reply from her later and I can post an update.

My worker did a spell with 2 cups of union and attraction. She told me to be patient this time. It's weird, the girl wanted me to message her, but I was sleeping and sent one 2 hours later. She read it about an hour later, read it and continued with fb. I swear that site is such a pain in the ass. I was thinking of that, however I've previously bought her a t shirt, bought her phone credit (said she would talk to me and ignored me again lol), and I have a necklace that's schedule to arrive to her on Friday. It has her nickname. Doing a card might be too many things too fast, but I like the idea.

I have a candle with her name scratched in it, burning. Has a black and white picture of her, and a petition in red ink. I put LM's love me, follow me, and red fast luck (custom, similar to LM but focused on love more). Been burning since Monday, it's 3/4 burned down.

Hi everyone! Has anybody ever had burst of energy?? On Monday I felt completely hopeless, anxious, desperate but Tuesday (yesterday) I started burning skull candles and felt confident about them. Anyways, I've been feeling so energetic and happy, it's weird... I'd like to think he's having bad days without me.... You are on her case too much. It is prolly freaking her out that she takes what she can get from you, then ignore you. I been doing work on my ex but I have not contacted him. Keep sending her gifts and that is what she will always expect even though she is ignoring you. Just wait for it to work.

I have been having constant dreams of me and my ex, some I can't remember. It is valentines day, someone told me he is depressed. I sent him a text saying Happy Valentines Day. He text back "thanks". What should I do?Been doing candles on him with love oils. Still waiting on my stuff from Lucky Mojo.

Should I get a purple candle when I get my influence and bewitching oil and work that?

I know he is depressed. I want to bind him till I can get to him. I also ordered Love me , Stay With Me, Follow Me boy, and Return To Me. What can I do to bind him to me? I want him to want nobody else. Women are trying to get him. I had the church burn a Bewitching candle for me as a back up. They said I need another candle, it burned black on top.

Ordinarily I'd say yes, but depression (even if it's a run of the sadz and not clinical depression) changes things. For now, use a pink, white or light blue candle with those oils instead.

It might be the Bewitching if movement is just beginning or if he is resisting.

If you read for yourself then rather solicit response ask the cards what he meant by it, why is he sad, did the work effect him. Thats one of the beautiful parts of reading. Bewitching would give a sense of mystery and allure to you, I doubt depression in another. Want him to dream of you, use the red skull candle spell that is talked about in the proper area, do it at night when he is asleep.

I can read what the situation is, I can't really read why it is being felt. However he made a video on social media. At the end of it he looked like he was in space then he said "Happy Velentines Day" and said "let's get back together" then he caught himself and changed the topic.

I had another dream of him last night. It was an ok dream. I think the spells are hitting him and he is sad I am not there. So bewitching will not control his mind about me?

you should read why he is away what is causing it and do spells directed at that. Bewitching will make him think of you in an alluring mystical way like you have an aura about you or a mystical drawing to you. Controlling his mind would go with commanding controlling, I can you cant essence of bend over, maybe even follow me boy if applied with another oil correctly.

I was told to put the post in the appropriate forum. However, for this post, I really am not sure what is the right place to put. So, I just put it here.

According to the page that I read from Ms. Cat, whenever you perform a spell, you will get a sign in 3 days, movement in 3 weeks and result in 3 months.

I burned the seven-day Break-Up to break up the guy I was seeing for two years and the girl he is currently seeing now. that candle broke down on its last day when I lighted it again to burn the remainder after it went completely out for the first time without breaking. Miss Aida said it was a very good sign.

The second seven-day Break-up candle is about to go out tomorrow.

Now, I am looking for movement. But the thing is I dont see this guy anymore because he told me to move on and he moved into this girl. He has facebook, no other social media, but he rarely ever posts anything on his facebook. He hasnt updated it for several months. I do not know the face and name of this girl. He hasnt talked to me since he told me to move on. I doubt he will talk to me again.

So, how come I look for movement and result of this spell ?

It took weeks for me to see maifestation on my break up work. You should of did some love stuff while doing break up. Not having a link of the girl makes this weaker. if you have personal concerns of his that is even better. When I did love stuff on my ex with his sweaty shirt I saw results of him wanting me in three days. I did my love spells on thursdays, but everyone is different.

It could just break him amd her up, but I would suggest you do more different spells to boost it. Try getting the church to light a candle for you. I did and got results somewhat but I also been doing work myself.

Try doing influence on him to think about you. Sounds like a harsh situation you got there. Mine was easy. If I was in his state, I would of not had to do any spells, but I am not so I had to get her out quick, and it took 7 weeks. Love took three days but they were still together same time, now she is gone.

Yes, i do not know this girl and dont even know her name or face. I have never met her.

I am not sure if I want to do any love stuff to bring him back or not. Right now, in my mind, is all hatred toward him and I am pouring all of this hatred energy toward this spell to break them up. The more I am mad right now, the more I am focusing on this spell to make it works faster and stronger.

Yes, I still have his sperm on the paper towel that I saved after our intimacies.

The thing about this dude is that from my experience. We nearly broke up a few times before, but he all texted me back after a few weeks for sex, but at those times, he really wasnt with anyone and was just with me. This time, he really had sex with this girl and I am still furious that I put all of my negative energy into this work.

Oh..I forgot to tell that this past Friday night, when I got off work, I saw 2 black birds flew just by the door when I got off the building..don't know what kinds of birds they were, but I got a chill feeling and remember bad things happen in the movies when black birds were around. If you have that on paper towel then what I would do is get a destruction candle. Do a petition paper, rub the paper towel all over the candle, or cut a small piece of it and stick it in the candle. Then light it. Trust me with that paper towel you will see what you want. Sounds like you should definately do a destruction. Yes the black birds are a sign of the two of them, and very bad sign. But do something like what I suggested to boost your work!

That's kind of hard if you won't know. I would wait and see. You will get all kind if signs. Right now since thursday as an example I been doing love work. I have been having dreams every night. I was looking at name rings as a gift for a friend and his name kept popping up on rings. So signs can come many ways. Its been three days since I doing my work.

3-3-3 is when you see signs. Like for me to intrepret my signs. His name on the rings means a good thing. Rings show love right? The black birds are a sign that they will break up. If you saw two white doves then that means they will not break up.

That's what: "Too close" means.

I find that when I release my worries about a spell, it tends to work.

I know that's difficult. And it is easier said than done. But give it a try.

What Miss Aida is saying that once you are finished with a spell, try not to worry about it. She's not saying to stop what you have in progress. She's talking about once your are finished. Many spells consist of a major work, followed by smaller work, like keeping candles going or carrying a mojo bag. If that is the kind of spell you are doing, keep on with the candles or carry the mojo bag.

I haven't been posting much because life delivered me a financial blow - a different forum link for that later. But on Signs and Stuff...OK, you all asked for an update... figure this out...(scroll back to see reconciliation/Cut & Clear/general confusion posts from about Nov/Dec ...)and...

My best pal Julie and I decided it was time to go out and boogie to some reggae to beat the MN winter blues. Here was the catch: the band we love has my former target as their sound guy. And the show was Valentine's Day -- a year ago that day he and I became official. Cycle completed or started?...Julie asked, are you ready for this? Yep, I said, screw it. We're going out to look awesome, dance, and if he's gonna be a doofus about things, then fine. I have bigger things on my plate now, and problems I need to forget for a while. I'll find some other good looking dude to dance with.

So... I took a LMCC Love Herbs bath, dusted my clothes with Look Me Over and Bewitching Powder, anointed myself with QE Root Oil, Follow Me Boy Oil, and Chupparosa Oil. And little Cleo May for good measure. Dressed, primped, put a flower over my ear and dressed that with a little... fluid

... and my pal and I went.

Well, we arrived at the venue, got our table, the band was sound checking. My former target was racing back and forth doing his job, caught a quick glimpse of me and did the arc of avoidance. Well, crap, I thought, this is how it's gonna be, huh?

Sat with Julie a little later and told her what happened, and that it seems he may try to ignore me. She said: "That's funny -- he can't stop looking at you. His eyes have been on you since he saw you."
"Really??"
"Oh yeah."
"Reallyyyy...?"
Huh. Well well.
Time to get sneaky.

After boogieing a little, I pulled a slip of paper out my wallet, and doodled a quick snarky little cartoon of a happy face sticking his tongue out and wrote "Happy Valentine's Day. Again."... dusted it with some of the aforementioned powder that was on my shirt inside, bought him a drink. Walked right up to the sound booth and delivered it... he said, kinda flummoxed, how's it going? I put the note under the drink, gave him a smile and walked away as he thanked me for it.

Proceeded to just have a night of dancing. Folks, that Look Me Over/Bewitching Combo is a winner. My pal said every guy in the place watched me dance - I somehow managed to suspend a pool game between four guys. Hehe. Seriously, I needed that positive attention... that said...

I did the aloof thing after that, but Julie kept saying she couldn't tell if my former target was constantly watching me with breaks to look at the soundboard, or just looking at me a lot, but evidently I was keeping his attention. He sure wasn't watching the band. She said she could see out of the corner of her eye that he tried to be sly, but when it looked like we weren't looking, he'd look at me. At one point I bent over and straightened my knee brace, and well, she laughed because his eyes went to my rear end like a duck on a junebug.

This was sweet enough to know... but you know... after the first break...He'd gone to the men's room to straighten up. He combed his hair. And when he walked back and forth between the stage and the booth, he kept trying to catch my eye. And smile, And wink...

The seal cracked when my pal Julie was on the dance floor and I was resting at the table. He approached, smiled, took my hand, put his arm around me. Well well well.... he tried to chat, but the music was too loud and I couldn't hear him and gestured so, so he leaned in... right by that flower over my ear... caught mainly that he was actually sick, sleepwalking through the gig, should be having a better time... I said it sounded fine... he kept chatting and I just pointed to my ear and said I can't hear you. He laughed, gave me a thumbs up, I gave him one, and he took my hand and shook it some. Arm stayed around me. I caught thanks for the drink.. it's nice to see you... he got back to work, I just gave him an aloof smile...

Later, Julie said I won. She said, clearly, he's still super attracted to you, still into you, is glad you don't hate him, may actually be regretting letting you go, but clearly must just still be too afraid of relationships to see had had something good and could keep it.

And while I'm feeling great about all that attention from him, and that he worked up the nerve to approach me, there's some poignancy and disappointment, too. Man, it didn't have to be this way, Target. What we had was good. This would be an easy fix. What's wrong?

Obviously, I have to move on, but we're gonna keep catching those gigs, and we'll just let things be the way they are. I'm rather enjoying that I can still distract him. I suppose this counts as a reconciliation. And at the same time, a twinge of sad that he can't seem to understand we could have had something good.

I txted him later, aloofly: "Didn't catch most of what you said, but I'm sure it was super-meaningful.

Something about being sick? Get rest and take care. Good show tonight."... I know better than to think he'll respond. But I have to admit, I am curious what he may have been thinking later... and also can't dwell on it...

Any feedback or reflections on this night would be helpful. Not sure if its a continuation of work and signs/movement, signs/movement of an end, or signs/movement of a beginning.

In the meantime, we're gonna catch the band's series of gigs -- we love the band, it was fun being Bewitching and having him Look Me Over, and well, maybe we'll both relax and get over it if we see each other more often at events. Who knows.

Wow! What an interesting story!!! Thank you for sharing.

Well, 2 thoughts came to mind.

1-It's all the oils you were wearing and the bath
2-Your spells final y had some movement.

Sometimes, it takes a long time to get movement. And sometimes, it's when you have ultimately decided that the spell didn't work and then give up and walk away!

Sounds like this isn't over yet...

He may not have returned your text as a way for him to be intentionally aloof to see how you would behave (just a thought)

I certainly will. You all will be the first to check in with.

I guess the mindset to keep is "what-everrrrrrr..."

No more work -- well, MISC is lighting a candle for me around all this, just to see if it's really meant to be, but the cooking on my end will end. And what will be will be.

Except...well... a little Love Bath, some Look Me Over & Bewitching, and some love oils when out and about sure won't hurt...

Just wanted to let those who wonder about where and when are the reports - I lit several candles since jan and they all have been emailed in a timely manner (a little bit over a week after each was lit). The reports are very helpful in terms of showing guidance to my current work. If they haven't shown up in your inbox, be patience as they must be busy to try to get so many candles done. Calling the church as Miss Aida suggested if it's been over a month.

I have a question about people’s experience with different kinds of signs – not just positive (“Yes”) signs, but also negative (or “No”) signs.

I’m used to watching for signs in things like a candle’s flame or wax, for example, or for real-world things like seeing or hearing a target’s name in connection with a particular phrase or event, or actually receiving tangible messages of some form or another from a real-world source.

But has anyone ever had the experience of “intuiting” a sign while working? For example, has anyone ever begun a working and been struck suddenly by a strong sense that they shouldn’t continue with it? It's not something that's happened to me often, but I have experienced it a few times, once just recently. Is it just me, or have others had this kind of experience?

I have had this happen. I don't think I would call it a sign but, instead, a message from Spirit saying not to do it anymore. Could be a very good reason. But only Spirit knows and you will most likely find out why later in the future.

I too have "intuited signs" -- including verbal comments from the "spiritual peanut gallery" as i it a candle. One time, i swear to God, i struck a match, and was just about to touch the candle-wick with the flame, when i heard the entire girl-chorus of the song "Buying a Book" by Joe Tex burst out with "Don't do it, don't do it, don't do it!" -- you'd have to know the song to understand how oddly amazing that was. And, no, i did not do it. I blew out the match instead.
