Thank you Miss Aida! You always have valuable input!

Hello, lapalomablanca ,
Sounds good. No, you didn't overdo it!
You just started the honey jar so, continue it.
You may also want to look at a break up spell for them while your honey jar is going:

Take care

Hello, misskitty49 ,
Yes, you can do that (although that is more of a Celtic-based ritual and not Hoodoo).

Re: How to Use Honey, Sugar, and Sweet Jars Questions and Answers
Hello theusurper2,
I moved your post to the General Honey / Sugar / Sweet Jar Q & A thread as your question had more to do with working a honey jar.
Yes, you can always open a honey jar to add to it. If the crystallized honey is providing a challenge, I have known some people that would set the jar in a shallow bowl of hot water, Be sure to read through the previous pages of this thread for additional insight, and check out the wonderful book Hoodoo Honey and Sugar Spells by Deacon Millett.

Thanks for the reply, Miss Aida.
About the break up spell, I considered ordering the break up kit, does it come with directions ? And do you ship to Belgium (Europe) ?
Also about my jar, it's the 4th day I've been lighting a candle, I use red ones, They have been burning with a very high flame, when I look at the page about candle divanations it says it's a good sign, does it mean the work is slowly working ?
Thanks again

Hi lapalomablanca,
Yes, the break up spell kit does come with full instructions to make it foolproof. It is an excellent choice for this kind of work.
The shop does indeed ship to Belgium.
A steady high flame is indeed a good sign that Spirit is hearing your petition.
Good luck.

Re: How to Use Honey, Sugar, and Sweet Jars Questions and Answers
Hi all,
I have a couple questions. I've been working a honey jar for a guy for love/reconciliation. I usually anoint my candle with the following grinded herbs and oils
Rosemary, ginger and honey crystals, cinnamon, red clover leaf, deer tongue leaves, catnip, honeysuckle, saffron
Peppermint oil, lavender and rose oil.
My questions are does it matter if I use altar candles or votive candles on top of my honey jar in alternating colours of white, red, pink and orange?
Ive recently purchased love me now oil and powder, reconciliation oil and powder and Mercury oil from LM. Do I stop using my herbs and oils and only use the powders and oils from LM or do I use both? and do I add them to the honey jar as well or just continue to anoint the candles?
Thanks much!!!

Re: How to Use Honey, Sugar, and Sweet Jars Questions and Answers
Hello, dee1,
Anoint the candles in the oils then roll them in he herbs.
The herbs can go in the honey jar. But not the powders. The oils do not go inside the honey jar either.
It's not good to roll your candles in the powders either. You can vey lightly sprinkle them but, that's it.
I hope this was clear.
Wishing you the very best

THanks Miss Aida,
So the size/type of the candle doesn't not matter? Ive used both alternatively due to availability, but now I have both available at the same time. Also do I stop using my lavender, rose and clove oils (I stated peppermint before but it's actually clove) and only use the LM oils or can I use those along with the LM oils?

Re: How to Use Honey, Sugar, and Sweet Jars Questions and Answers
Hi all!
Apologies if this has been asked before, but I've been working a sizable honey jar for reconciliation/love for awhile and will be traveling domestically this week. Since I'll be out of town for a whole month, I would really hate to leave it at home unworked for that long (especially since I'll have in-person contact with my target while out of town), so I'm considering packing it extremely carefully in my checked bag. I would really like to avoid any security issues/having it confiscated.
Have any of you flown with your honey jar in your checked bag with any issues before? Should I perhaps consider labeling it "honey/religious item" on the outside of the wrapping?
Thanks!

Re: How to Use Honey, Sugar, and Sweet Jars Questions and Answers
Soon I will start a honey jar for that duplicitous backstabbing mother of my ex's. I've been trying to compose the best petition for the situation. So far I've come up with "Bless my union with your son Speak of me with only praises Shower me with favors" I would really appreciate any suggestion to improve on this petition.
I will write her name 7 times in black ink, cross them with my name 9 times in purple ink and then circle the whole thing with my petition in purple ink as well. I will include her picture with her full name and birthdate, that will be the only personal concern of her. I've missed so many chances to get her hair when she last visited but I never dreamed I would need it one day to defend myself from her:( Lesson learned: always collect people's hair when you have the chance (and semen!), you never know.
Thanks to the convenient link Miss Aida provided in her earlier reply, I picked out the following herbs:
http://www.luckymojo.com/hoodooataglance.html
Borage (peace & harmony at home)
Lavender (peace & harmony at home)
Pennyroyal (peace & harmony at home)
Balm of Gilead (heal friendship)
Cloves (maintain friendship)
Licorice roots (for me to gain the upper hand)
6 herbs + honey = 7 ingredients.
I wonder if it helps to use orange blossom honey to ease her towards the idea of her son marrying me one day. I suppose the appropriate oil to anoint the candles for this honey jar would be Influence?

Re: How to Use Honey, Sugar, and Sweet Jars Questions and Answers
Hello BellaLupa,
I have not personally traveled with a honey jar before, especially not when requiring it to be in checked luggage. However, several members on the forum have traveled with theirs, so it is possible. If in doubt, you could leave it at home wrapped in red fabric and love herbs, and call for it to continue to work its magic during your absence.
Either way, I wish you much luck when meeting with your target.

Hi Innocence,
Your plans sound great. Personally, I don't count the honey as one of the seven added ingredients but your mileage may vary.
Good luck.

Thanks, Miss Athena! Glad to know I have options. I've read in some places that you can keep a honey jar in a sunny window to keep it "warmed up", is that an acceptable alternative in a pinch?
Thank you St. Helena, Expedite, St. Anthony, St. Martha, and St. Cyprian.

Hi BellaLupa,
You're welcome. That is a good idea, sunshine is a nice source of "warming" energy so give it a go.
Good luck.

Thanks! Finally, a magical advantage to living in the "Sunshine State" that has nothing to do with Disney.
In the meantime, I'll keep working it daily with candles until I leave on Thursday.

Re: How to Use Honey, Sugar, and Sweet Jars Questions and Answers
Hello all,
I mentioned before that I wanted to create a honey jar to sweeten a new love, or just love in general towards me. I ordered luckymojo's love herb mixture that includes rose petals, red clover, lavender, catnip, damiana, cubeb berries, juniper berries, gentian root, and deer's tongue. It's dressed with 9 famous love oils (not going to write all the names). In addition, I've got some attraction oil and a lodestone. With the things I've mentioned, what can I do to make an awesome love honey jar? Please provide a thorough how-to. Like is there any night I should start or moon phase?
Thanks in advance!

Re: How to Use Honey, Sugar, and Sweet Jars Questions and Answers
I've made a few honey jars and had quite good success with them.
For me, I use smaller candles on the lid (birthday candles work just fine) and I'm not afraid to use multiple colors like 1 pink, 1 red, a yellow for attraction, and in my case, a blue one for healing. I dress them with oils that are in keeping with the color properties. Sometimes, in tougher cases, I'll also burn an orange candle dressed with Road Opener oil and ground-up Deer's Tongue on the plate next to the jar to further "heat it up".
Some people don't do this, but I like to give it a good leisurely few shakes before working it, to "wake it up", talk to it a little, give it a wee smooch while thinking of my beloved, and warm it up with my breath. I've had good results with using verses from the Song of Songs as a prayer over the jar right after I get the candles going.
I usually work it Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays as often prescribed, but sometimes, I'll do it more frequently if I feel moved to. I haven't historically paid much attention to the moon phase, as I tend to just create them as needed. They're slow-moving works, so the sooner the better as I see it.

Hi Eternal_Moonlight,
You have fantastic ingredients to construct a very good honey jar. Have you read through all the pages in this thread? There is a lot of wonderful advice here for you, so that is where you should start. If you still have questions, after reading through this thread, you can ask them here.
If you would like a rootworker to walk you through the specific steps, you can book a magical coaching session with them through the AIRR page.

Good luck.

Ok I've been working on this new jar for a week now, need to wait on the break up kit from LM, are there any succes stories with this kit online ? Always encouraging to read succes stories in times like this !
Anyways, I've been using red candles on my jar, they've all been burning very high ... I hope that's not just because the candles are good quality ?

I looked through the some of the threads. I don't want to sweeten a specific person towards me. I want to generally attract love. I know I should be the herbs in the center of a paper but I don't know what to write on it, or if there is anything else I should add.

Hello, lapalomablanca,
Unfortunately, we don't solicit stories. Sorry
Your best bet is to look at the forum links for success stories. And look at the break up spell kit link.

Miss Aida,
Do you offer consultations to see if there is movement in my case with the work I've been doing ?
If yes, I live in Belgium, so how does it work, never had a consultation via LM.
Thank u !

Re: How to Use Honey, Sugar, and Sweet Jars Questions and Answers
Is there a protocol for candle remains with sweet jars? I've just gotten in a heap of nice free standing candles but went through a bunch of tea lights and a handful of votives prior. I've left all the metal containers by the jar unsure what to do with them. Similarly, there's a good amount of wax from the votives and few tapers about that are not stuck to the jar as it had to be moved a few times.
Re: How to Use Honey, Sugar, and Sweet Jars Questions and Answers
Hello, phouka ,
Keep the tins (you can re-use them)
And either bury candle remains in the backyard (to keep someone already with you) or the front yard (to bring someone to you or back to you.
I hope this helps
Wishing you the best

Re: How to Use Honey, Sugar, and Sweet Jars Questions and Answers
Hi everyone, I knew someone must asked this before but I cannot find the exact answer, so please bear with me?
I made my first money honey jar last night, it looks fine, just...I didn't have enough honey at my house, so the money honey jar is only 70% full.
Can I add more honey into the jar? If I could, I need to repeat my petition and wish allover again, right?
Thank you very much.

Hello, GuntisLotus,
Welcome to the forum!
If you get a chance (and wish to do so), please introduce yourself on the introduction thread.
Yes, you can add more honey and you don't have to do anything else.
Good luck.
Hope you make a zillion dollars!

Re: How to Use Honey, Sugar, and Sweet Jars Questions and Answers
Hi Everyone, hope you all have been well. It's been awhile since I've been on the forum and I had a question or two. I've been working a honey jar on my guy for months now. We text every single day and were spending a decent amount of time together. Right now he's sort of having some issues (out of work and struggling to find a job). As a result we haven't seen one another since August. We text everyday and we've talked about seeing each other. He says he wants to just not sure when. I've been told by my most trusted reader he's kinda just saying it right now because he's just not in a good place but doesn't want to lose me. I'm sort of at a loss. Our communications are fine, we have good exchanges, it's just the actually seeing one another part that is lacking right now. So I wanted to know, if anyone could recommend a specific color candle and oils to use on my honey jar to maybe break this cycle. I've been using red candles for the last 3 months with the Love Me oil, Return To Me oil, and Stay With me Oil. I started using Return To Me recently with the idea in mind to draw him back into getting him to see me in person. But if anyone has any ofter suggestions I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks!

Hi Moonbeam38,
Sounds like you are doing a great job! The only change I would suggest is that red candles are used in Love work for sexual attraction, lust, etc. Pink candles are used for enduring and long lasting love, etc.
Good Luck with your spell work!

I tried to get online for an immediate reading but it looks like no one is available. I have someone who has been constant but I font know if I should work on him or not. Not sure if I should just add him to my sweet jar or not.

Re: How to Use Honey, Sugar, and Sweet Jars Questions and Answers
hi everyone
This is my first post to the forum but I've been reading lots of different posts on various topics for weeks now. I purchased my 1st spell kits love me and Van Van along with a honey Jar. I haven't started my spell kits yet but I planned on doing the honey jar tomorrow which is a Monday.I was excited about starting it to sweeten my target before I started my spell kits that i have now while I wait for the other products I ordered to be delivered. As i was reading the Honey Jar instructions Cat states to add the herbs and hair to the petition paper.I don't have any hair or bodily fluids from my target and right now I don't have access to it because we aren't on speaking terms at this moment. My question is has anyone ever had success doing a honey jar without hair from their target. How slow will it work if at all? Anyone whose had success with a honey jar without using their targets hair please fill me in. thanks

Re: How to Use Honey, Sugar, and Sweet Jars Questions and Answers
Hello everyone!
Oh i am soooo bummed, for some reason my posts are not getting posted
I have a few questions about the herbs and roots needed for the honey Jar. I would like to know whar roots are mixed in the pre made lucky mojo mix. The intention is reconciliation, to draw my lover back to me.
A little background on this: my intended and I still talk nearly daily ( text, Facebook, sometimes phone) and see eachother as well (not quite as often) and when we do we spend quite a bit of time together and even have sex still. (i know... :/....) He broke up with me suddenly ( i attribute it to fear and childhood traumas) but he still loves me very much ( one night he was with me he just cried and told me he loved me and was in love with me but was so confused and did not want to hurt me. I also know he isn't dating anyone)
I requested candles to be lit for me at MISC, one return to me and one Intranquil ( a little bit of overkill perhaps but my...intended is very stubborn and pig headed and he would stick by his choices even if they were poor and were killing him!) at home I have lit a return to me prepared by a local practicioner and I am burning my second one (prepared by someone else because I did not like the previous practicioner I worked with. He asked me to say the prayer to the 7 intranquil spirits and also to st. Martha) ( my intended and I broke up three weeks ago).
I would like to know what herbs the pre prepared mix has so I can add other herbs or roots that might interest me before I place my order....and i am also concerned with the issue of what name to use. Should I use my birth name or my current name (which I use). My named changed because of a marriage and posterior divorce, and a subsequent name change I had when I obtained my citizenship. I have gotten mixed answers to this. Some have told me only my birth name works and some told me the name he met me with and I identify with now works

Re: How to Use Honey, Sugar, and Sweet Jars Questions and Answers
I keep reading that when deploying honey jars you should dispose of the contents in running water but on the laying tricks page it says if you want its influence to move away and sink... What if the honey jar is working well and you want to deploy it while still allowing it to maintain its influence how would you deploy it with that intention in mind?

Hello, scorpiolove,
Welcome to the forum!
If you get a chance (and wish to do so), please introduce yourself on the introduction thread.
Miss cat writes that for the very best outcomes.
But, if you don't have that, it can still work. I do them a lot for clients and still get good results without personal belongings.
Take care and good luck with your spells!!

Hello, Libvialoss,
Welcome to the forum.
Please read the forum rules: rules.php
As we do not ask what ingredients are in Lucky Mojo products.
I personally prefer birth names but many rootworkers Use the name that you are known by.
Also, the first 3 posts must be approved by a moderator before they are shown on the forum board.
Last, but not least, we cannot speak for rootworkers outside of AIRR
Wishing you the best

I don't mean to double post but I haven't received a response yet to my question about honey jar deployment. The forum advice tends to be "in a river" but from what I've tea about that method of deployment on the laying tricks page that method doesn't sound like the jar would still continue working.
I just want to be clear on how I'm deploying since this is a jar that is working well for me BUT deployment is necessary.

Hi Beginner01,
Bury it in your front yard if it is working to draw someone to you. If you already have brought him to you, then bury it in your back yard to keep him with you.
Hope that helps.
Good luck.

Re: How to Use Honey, Sugar, and Sweet Jars Questions and Answers
My ex and I broke up about 6 weeks ago literally cause he was mad and jealous and told me to never call or contact him again. I have listened and abided to his request.
Except he is stubborn and we are soul mates and I want him back.
I have always been again using a honey jar when he is angry but this time I think I need it.
Would anyone like to give me any advice? Any special pointers or tips. Anything at all.
I obviously don't have any of his hair or nails since I haven't been around him.
Will it work on someone stubborn and full of pride?

Hi cappygirl11,
Yes, a honey jar is a good idea as it sweetens your target's feelings towards you. It is slow to work but can be quite powerful.
Please read through the posts in this thread and you can get ideas on how to work your jar. You can do the work with only a photo, full name and birthdate and see how it goes.
Stubborn targets may require some additional work as well, such as skull candles to get inside their head and implant ideas. It's something to consider adding to your arsenal. You can do a search of the forum using the little search box in the upper right corner of the page, and find the thread on skull candles. There is an array of ideas and advice there on how to do this work to aid in your goals. I also like to work with Influence products as they have been quite effective for me.

Re: How to Use Honey, Sugar, and Sweet Jars Questions and Answers
Hello Everyone,
I Truly hope i'm not being redundant, but i have a couple questions.... And i did look over the forum for the answers before writing this post
My Questions Below...
(1): Is it true that you can over work a honey jar for love? I read somewhere that after you probably worked it over 2 weeks or a month that you need to stop and just wait for the signs to see if my spell is being manifested.
(2): Where or what can i do with candle wax from my honey jar? (It is running off the plate i have it on and thick around the jar) I live in an apt. building, no backyard, no rug to hide it under my front door, and I don't have plants in my home (i am open to buying a plant pot if needed).
(3): Since i was finally able to get some of my love's semen (still concealed in container in my fridge) Can or should i add the semen to the Honey Jar and work it more? Or should i wait and use it for my doll baby that i plan to purchase soon? As far as i know I haven't seen a major change in him, but i'm trying to be patient
Spells I've done so far:
Think of Me Picture Box Spell (I also sleep with his picture under my pillow to keep me on his mind)
Honey Jar Love Spell
Freezer Spell to freeze out all and potential love rivals.
NOTE:I have a "St. Martha The Dominator Candle" (the Blk one) already, just waiting for my LM oils and sachets to be delivered to do that spell. I'm also planning to do a "Follow Me Boy Spell" as well
I also have a reading coming up next month
Another little thing i do is I burn the corners of his photo's to keep his spirit from escaping the photograph
Thanks In Advance for any and all responses to my questions:)

I will answer each after your posed question
My Questions Below...

Re: How to Use Honey, Sugar, and Sweet Jars Questions and Answers
Hi Miss Aida, I'm honestly so scared right now.
So I've been working honey jars (one for my ex and one for my big brother) and tonight I burned candles and left them in my room, when I returned about an hour later the candles had burned down but the wax puddles had formed baby shapes. It looked like 2 baby's in wombs. The honey jar for my brother had a bigger baby and the other one looked like a baby in the womb during its early stages, they literally looked like 3D sounds, it was so weird!! I hopped on Google and lucky mojo looking for answers and the only one I could find said that baby symbols meant trouble was coming. Is there any other meanings? Please help! I'm so creeped out right now!

Hi goldengirl,
I'm sorry but we don't do wax interpretations on the forum.
A good resource to have on hand is a book on tea lead interpretation, as the symbols are often consistent with wax divination. Here is a link to the Lucky Mojo book list, scroll down and you will find resources for tea leaf interpretation.

Re: How to Use Honey, Sugar, and Sweet Jars Questions and Answers
I made my honey jar on monday. Yesterday my candles were not burning on it. I'm using pink tea light rose candles. Yesterday the first 2 the wick fell into the wax and blew off. The 3rd candle the flame looked tiny. I tried to pick it up and a tiny circle had burnt around the centre of the candle through to the other side and the wick fell out. The candles burnt fine today. Huge flame for 20 minuted.
What does it mean?

Hi cappygirl11,
We don't perform candle divination on the forum, but you should read this page that Miss Cat wrote, which can help you find your answers: http://www.luckymojo.com/candlemagicdivination.html
Also, this forum is for the discussion on how to use Lucky Mojo products, so if your candles are from another supplier, we can't comment on how they are burning.
Good luck.

Re: How to Use Honey, Sugar, and Sweet Jars Questions and Answers
is it ok to open the lid & tie a string around the name paper then place back in honey jar & light a candle after you have already inserted the name paper, ate honey, prayed your petition?
im asking because my name paper keeps floating to the top of the jar rather than staying down ...
thanks

Re: How to Use Honey, Sugar, and Sweet Jars Questions and Answers
Sure, that's okay, i guess. More traditional would be to fold something like a root or herbs into the paper in the form of a packet and put it in that way.
It does not matter if it floats, you know. However, that is why some people prefer sugar: the paper stays where you put it.

Re: How to Use Honey, Sugar, and Sweet Jars Questions and Answers
So last night I wanted to add more oomph to my honey jar & I had read on here somewhere that adding damiana & whiskey is a good combo so I put it in there as well as cinnamon, dried rosebuds, and come to me powder. I've had a pink vigil going on it for about a week straight to reinforce & hopefully expediete my results. This is all ok right?
Re: How to Use Honey, Sugar, and Sweet Jars Questions and Answers
Hello, gypsywitchxxx ,
I am not familiar with putting whiskey inside a honey jar.
Maybe Damiana that was soaked in whiskey.
But straight whiskey in a honey jar, well, I just am not familiar with this. It could be my error but I personally haven't heard of this
Sorry.

My intention was to make him "drunk in love" towards me as well as sweet. The damiana & whiskey is a great powerful combo to bring back an estranged lover from what I've read.

Re: How to Use Honey, Sugar, and Sweet Jars Questions and Answers
Due to some budget constraints I haven't been able to purchase candles for my honey jar. So no candles means I can't burn them on my honey jar. Is this going to greatly damage my work? My intended target is still very active in my life and all seems to be well. I am hoping to be able to purchase candles by the end of the month. Will this be ok?
Re: How to Use Honey, Sugar, and Sweet Jars Questions and Answers
Hi all,
I had some friends over and I think they saw my honey jar. One friend is blind as a bat and I don't think she fully grasped what she saw. She didn't comment on it. The other was a stranger. Both really have no idea what they saw. Saw my intended after the fact and he is smitten with me. I don't get the feeling that I should remake my jar. Should I?
Thank you,
Belightfully

Re: How to Use Honey, Sugar, and Sweet Jars Questions and Answers
Belightfully, I was keeping my honey jar in the cupboard along with my tins of loose tea and other food stuff. I remember reading that it's a good place to hide it since a honey jar belongs with cooking ingredients... Until it gets too covered with candle wax. My ex's dad opened the cupboard the other day and I am sure he saw it but he didn't ask any question. I don't believe it killed the honey jar, but I've moved it somewhere else so he won't get a second chance to ponder on what a wax covered jar's doing there.
Re: How to Use Honey, Sugar, and Sweet Jars Questions and Answers
Honey Jars are not like Mojo Bags which are not to be seen or touched by another person. Because of the concern of others seeing the jar, you may consider placing it in a brown paper bag and putting it in the closet or somewhere out of the way when you have guests over.

Innocence,
Inside a cupboard is probably best. You're right, Innocence. I should get the cupboard fixed where I used to keep all my rootwork supplies. It was out of sight and no one would really peek in there anyway. Good tip!
