The short of it is a vinegar jar is a container spell aimed at damaging or severing the relationship bonds between two people. There is a large thread in the "spellcasting" tab that has a great deal of information on how to make it and its different ways of being used. Lucky Mojo also has premade jars in their spellkits section under bottle spell. You can purchase one of their break up jars and add vinegar accordingly.

last night as i was burning a black candle on my vinegar jar.. i noticed wax tears aswell as flickering of the flame ALOT! it ended with a very clean burn. As far as im aware their was no draft of air or nothing to cause flickering of the flame...so if anyone can enlighten me.

Wax tears often indicates emotional pain, or literal tears as a result of the work being done. Flickering flames I've always as the spiritual struggle that is taking place. Its a strong sign, usually.

For further clarification consider a reading after a period of time working on your vinegar jar to see how your work is progressing.

further update.. so i move the vinegar jar to a different part of the room and the same thing happened the flame flickered alot, this time there was some hissing + popping and in the end i was left with just the wick split in to two individual pieces .. how interesting!

Hissing and popping is good. It can mean that there is chatter among the spirits. On the other hand, I know when I am doing break up work...and the candle on top is hissing and popping it can mean that the targets are fighting amongst each other. Either way a spirit is advocating on your behalf, and/or your targets are arguing. So keep up the good work!

further update the hissing and popping continues aswell as the flickering of the flame. however, this time the flame split in two

and then went back to its normal self.

If the search function doesn't work for you, spend some time browsing through past thread titles. You can usually find what you need within 15 minutes or so. You're also likely to find alot of other helpful info. It's good to get educated and spend some time orienting yourself to the tradition as a whole - that way the instructions you find or are given will make alot more sense. Hoodoo, and magic in general, is not just about following a recipe and getting results. There's alot more to it. Spending some time doing a bit of digging and research can really help you have a better chance of success.

First off, I am making a vinegar jar as I wish to break up an ex-lover and his girlfriend. She is using him for money, cheating, stealing from him and hocking his stuff off, abusing our kids when they stay at his house (this is the main one, my daughter came home with burn marks where this woman deliberately scalded her with a hair iron as punishement)....and it needs to stop but he for some reason just won't leave her. He's a good person though, and a good father.

I am creating my vinegar jar and intend on using using - (9 rusty nails, 9 needles, 9 pins, 9cm of razor wire, 9 glass shards, cat hair, dog hair, goofer dust, hot foot powder, crossing oil and dead wasps/fire ants, photo of each person and petitions for her to leave)

My questions -

1) Hot Foot Powder is supposed to make a person leave, and I want her to leave, but if I place it in the jar, is it likely that my ex would leave town too? I do not want this to happen as he needs to be here with the children. Should I just anoint her photo with the hot foot powder then? Or will it be fine in a larger amount in the jar?

2) Same goes with the Goofer Dust and Crossing Powder. I want her life to be hell for hurting my children, but I don't want there to be any lasting effects on my ex. I really only want him to suffer ridiculously while he is with her so that they break up. As for her, I couldn't care less if she suffers all the way to the grave. Should I just use these powders on only her photo, or should they be put in the whole jar?

3) I am making my own goofer dust as I have a friend who is known to have a very potent mixture, however his mixture calls for salt as a component. I always though salt was protective though. Is salt considered necessary? I would have thought salt negates the whole Goofer Dust formula. What are options are there for Goofer Dust?

4) And lastly....Does anyone know any good hex that will really get back at this woman? I want something as nasty as it gets. Preferably something to absolutely destroy her looks, as my daughter was scalded with the iron as punishment for distracting her whilst she was doing her hair (stupid, vain woman). I think something that completely trashes her appearance is exactly her karma after that.

I wouldn't put powder in a vinegar jar in the first place, I'd go with hot foot oil. That said, if you don't want him to leave don't add Hot Foot to a jar you're putting him in.

First, you don't need both Goofer dust and Crossing, that's like adding vinegar and then sulfuric acid, might as well just go with the sulfuric acid, lol. If you actually pull off a break up spell he will of course be affected, whether or not that continues after the break up depends on whether or not you call that into the jar.

This forum is for choosing and using LuckyMojo products, and they make and sell very potent Goofer Dust so asking for tips on how to make your own isn't really a question for this board, if you don't know how to make it or how it works, buy it.

Did you file a police report on this woman for assaulting your daughter?...

Anyways, simplest way to do it would be to get something of her, a hair would be best, and make a doll on her and torture the doll, or load a black skull candle with her hair, dress it with something like Crossing, Damnation,or D.U.M.E if you want her dead and dust it with Goofer Dust, burn it for nine nights as you pray for your result. Also sprinkle Goofer Dust where she must walk thr/over it.

You can also save yourself some money and buy the LuckyMojo crossing spell kit.

Yes, I did report the assault to the police, it was the first thing I did. Unfortunately as my daughter is only 6 yrs old, her word meant nothing against a grown woman who insisted it was "all an accident". This hasn't been the first time either my daughter has had injuries from this awful woman, but it has been the most barbaric in my opinion.

So the best bet would be to make the vinegar jar, minus the three powders then, and instead use those 3 powders/oils against the woman personally?

Maybe create a personal vinegar jar for the woman, without using any photos of my ex, using all of the above ingredients, just to creaet hell for her? I could even write it in the vinegar jar petition that she is to stay away from my ex and my children? Or should I just not mention their names at all in her personal vinegar/hell jar?

I would put her in a jar, but I wouldn't say a vinegar jar.

Into a jar add:

Whatever you have of her

Hot Foot oil

Crossing Oil

Damnation Oil (Because anyone that hurts a child has it coming)

Destruction Oil

Black Arts Oil

Inflammatory Confusion oil

Poppy Seeds

Hot Red Pepper

Broken Glass/Nails/Razor Blades/you get the idea

Top it all off with one whole bottle of War Water.

Seal it and burn a black Eve candle on top of it dressed with the above oils and dusted with Goofer Dust. After the candle is burned out you wanna shake that jar at least once a day for a few minuets as you call your curse down on this woman, really work your self up into a rage. That will make her miserable and pained until she must leave, or it might kill her or land her in the hospital.

And be regularly cleansing and protecting yourself and your home while you work this trick! Very very important.

Actually, you can put hotfoot powder/ oil into a jar if you are only focusing on hotfooting that one target, even if there is more than one person in the jar. What you do is put some of the powder on the name paper and petition and fold it as you put it in the jar. Or you can anoint the name paper. The hotfoot works on the person who lay the trick out for, same with bottle spells. You simply make sure that you clearly want to hotfoot this woman and put the powder in there specifically for her. For your ex you can put in break up powders.

The break up kit from LM actually will have everything you are looking for to separate your ex from his new lover. Since you also want to cross her, you might consider getting a Crossing Kit.

If you are looking to specifically disfiguire her then get yourself a black figure candle. Baptize it in her name, anoint with Black Arts oil and Crossing. Dust it with red pepper and tell her that her skin is getting red and angry, studded it with black pepper to turn her evil back on her, then take heated nails and put them into the figure candle (where you want the damage) as you call out your different curses. Make sure this is the right course of action and that it might not be better to simply hotfoot her and be done with it.

Take your cleansing baths and definately look into FWP for your daughter.

I made a vinegar jar concoction. it kinda worked.

The only thing it did is made the other woman stay away from the home, only to bring him to come move his clothes out and stay with her in another state for days, then come back to me.

what I wanted is to break them as she did us for years.

so I now where this person resides. do I get what was deployed and take it to her house or what?

If it soured their relationship enough that she's staying away, then its a success. Take your bottle and bury it on her property to take the spell home. Sprinkle around her home with some Break Up sachet powders to ensure the break up is final, then hotfoot her.

Hi.. Im new in these and I think i just screwed up....

My ex and I have just broken up after 5 years of relationship and after living together for 3 years. He just changed from one day to an other and I found out he was "seeing" an other girl, I mean " seeing" because the girl is not actually here in US, she lives in South America but they have been talking over the phone and by chat since October. I got surprised, because, even if he dated before this girl he wouldn't never have a relationship with her because as he said: she is like "everybody's girl" he even send her to hell many times in front of me and called her slut and after all that she continued calling him.

Anyway, I was told by a reader that someone put a spell on him but it wasn't her.... so I think his reaction is result of this, I know he still loves me, in fact, I was the one who broke up because my anger won and i couldn't do anything else after I found out he sent flowers to her to another continent... that just pissed me off and made me make that decision.

After we broke up we moved to different apartments and you can call it destiny or no, we moved to the same building without knowing we were going to be neighbors. After that he has been calling me and texting me but I have been very rude and cold with him. I would confirm the reading you received to see if he really is "cursed" or under someone's influence, or if it's simply his nature to be indecisive and inclines towards infidelity.

Whichever the case is you must determine whether you want him back, or if you merely want to break the two individuals up. If you want to break them up then hit them with a vinegar jar as you have, but keep working it over a period of days. Burn a divorce candle on their names anointed with Break Up oil and dusted with red peppers, black peppers, and stuck with heated nails. While the divorce candle is burning shake up your vinegar jar and call down curses on the relationship. Right when the candle is about to burn out, take a cleaver or big knife and cut the candle in two, separating the two sides. Bury each apart.

I would follow this up by working a black penis candle to keep him from being able to have sex with this woman and to force him to think of only you.

This focuses merely on getting him away from her, it must be followed up by reconciliation work for your relationship and actual steps you take in the physical world such as being nice and friendly.

Well, yesterday I also burned a black candle on the top of my vinegar jar and i didn't understand the wax that came from the candle.. it did burn really quickly but when it was going to finished I stick a hot nail (coz i read that in the forum) but the candle just stop lighting.

Yes I already ordered a break up spell, but in the meantime I'm doing my vinegar bottle and I put inside of it a pic of her and also a pic of him with their DOB and their names.. I added 9 nails, 9 razers, 9 pins and poppy seed, red pepper, sulphur powder and I annoited the candle with sepration oil.

Do you have an other spell to keep this girl away from our lives??
I know he arrived yesterday to his country and till today he hasn't seen her.. maybe my vinegar bottle is working?? I hope so..

I started a vinegar jar on Tuesday to break up my ex-boyfriend (current roommate) and his girlfriend. She stayed over at our apartment both Tuesday and Wednesday night and both nights they got into a big argument and then Thursday night after my ex got off the phone with her, he complained about her to me (how he feels she sometimes looks down on him and other stuff about her and her family). I know that she was worried about how they were arguing and not their "normal happy selves" and he reassured her that things were good and that he loves her. I was just wondering, could my vinegar jar be working already or am I just reading to into things, because I tend to do that? I also started burning the breakup incense and divorce candle yesterday will this really help?

It could be working. But don't obsess over it, or discuss the work when it is ongoing, because that can taint the work. The worst thing you can do is start doubting or worrying about the work.
Just be confident in what you're doing and keep at it.

I think my post came off the wrong way, I am not doubtful of the work I just am amazed at how fast signs may have started to shoW. I do have another question though, how long do I work the bottle for? I have read 7-9 days or until you feel the work is complete and I am just a little confused as to which one I follow because personally I want to shake and work the jar for longer than 9 days.

Jar spells (whether they be vinegar or honey) are ongoing things. I'd recommend working it whenever you need or want to. The divorce candle on the other hand is more of a 7-9 day thing (for obvious reasons).

Hello Conjure Man and everyone else, I have a few questions:

1. For the black penis candle, what oil and herbs would you dress it with?

2. Let's say I want to do a moving candle spell to separate a couple. I think black and red pepper are mainly aimed at causing anger, fights, etc.? What about other break up herbs like walnut leaves (and a couple others listed on LM site that aim to break the power of love)?

3. What's the best time for working the break up spell? For positive work I always do it at dawn but I don't know about this one.

1. For the black penis candle, I would use goofer dust, asafoetida, red pepper, black pepper, black walnut leaves, knot weed, calamus

2. You can use walnut leaves, rust (excellent to make me people REALLY fight, and even physically fight), lemon verbena, poppy seeds, asafoetida, chicory, black dog and cat hair.

3. I mean I like to do all my work at night as the target's defenses are down. For break up work, I do it at night on Tuesday, Wednesday, or Saturday. BUT if a certain time of the day does not permit, then it does not permit, and you can work it at any time of the day. If you can't do at a specific time of the day, then at least try to do it on a specific day.

How you time things are up to you. You can use Tuesday for the Martial connotations, Saturday for curses and death. I believe Stars indicated that she likes Wed as a sign of breaking down communication. You can work it at night, you can work it during a waning moon, or you can work it at sunset.

For a moving candle spell for a break up Black Mustard Seeds/Poppy Seeds will sow enough confusion to make them susceptible to your commands. Throw in Red Peppers for fighting, Black Peppers to curse and banish their love and peace, Black Cat and dog hair make them fight like cats and dogs.

Take heated coffin nails and burn them into the backs of the candles to make force them apart from one another. This will also get you that rust that you're looking for.

For a black penis candle spell it depends on what you are intending to do. I like the herbs mentioned by Stars, but I would also carve out at the base and add Alum to stop up his sex. You can add red fire ants to make him burn along with the Red pepper. Twitch Grass is also great for wrapping around the penis candle as a means of cursing his sex.

You can definately tie his nature so that he has sexual interest only for you. Make your petition clear on that.

If this is break up and reconciliation work make sure you keep tabs on the work with readings or even work with a rootworker.

Whenever I'm doing work of a darker or more chaotic nature then I keep my self cleansed daily with a quick cleansing followed up by a more thorough one at the end of my work.

I might take daily salt baths, do egg cleansings etc. But when I"m done I'll do a more thorough bath, wash down my house, altar, smudge etc.

I have a vinegar jar for my son and his other woman, but i need to put in some herbs that i received from LM yesterday and i don't know if it's possible. Can i open it?

Dear theusurper --

Of course you can open it. The work is yours to command and control.

Add each new item with prayers for the outcome that you desire, then seal the jar, shake it up, and burn a black candle on it that has been carved with their names not touching and facing in opposite directions, and dressed with Break Up oil.

i want to know about this reaction when i opened the jar, i put everything and shaked, i burned the candle and prayed. i do this kind of work in my garage, but when i was inside the house i was feeling dazed and i had to go to the bed for a moment until i feel better, i took a bath with amonia, salt and sage and prayed, my skin was like chicken skin when i was taking the bath but finally i was better. my question is , what happened? can someone tell me.

Generally when you perform harmful spell work -- and your vinegar jar is harmful to the relationship of your son and his other woman -- it is a good idea to perform protection work for your space and some cleansing afterward for the good of your own soul. If you don't, and the target is fighting you or resisting your attempts at domination or control, you may tend to feel out of sorts, in a way similar to what you described.

Remember, when you do spell work on another person, they have every right, as a self-determining sentient creature, to fight back in whatever way they can, including reversing your curses back onto you. Hence we do protection work before and cleansing work after all cursing spells.

i'm pretty sure they don't know i'm doing this spell work, but i take care of myself with cleansing and protection.once a week i do my bath with anmonia, black coffee ,salt and sage and of course my white candles with incense in my hole house.i have my solomon seal amulet that i anoit with van van oil and solomon oil. every day after my shower, i scrub myself with sea salt. i read my psalms, do you think is enought? any suggestion? thank you

Rather then simply asking and hoping people will tell you, why not research it yourself? Vinegar Jar spells and break up work in general have both come up a lot in the past. There is a search bar at the top right of every page, type in Vinegar Jar and take a look.

Hi All-

I just went to shake the crap out of the vinegar jar that I have for my husband and his mistress, just before shaking I admittedly was angry and had held the jar up to draw down energy from the Cosmic Forces immediately after I that I shook the jar and a pea size hole exploded out the side and sent the solution spraying all over my laundry room....

Any and all interpretations would be appreciated....I think I know what it means but I want to make sure I am on the right page....
