Did you call and ask why or why not? Did you ask to talk to someone else?

I don't know, but this sure seemed like a sign and either it's a sign about this job or a job in that organization.

Maybe it's just me but I would find out WHY this one person is giving you resistance and try to go around them.

Also, pray to St Peter about this road opening opportunity

Miss aida,

Well I emailed the recruiter that reached out to me after I sent in my application. She never replied, it's been 4 days and she normally replies within an hour. As was recommended to me, I burned the look me over, attraction and steady job candles and did the road opener bath. I also pray to St. Anthony at night to help with this as well. I will find out if there's another recruiter I can reach out to but I was wanting to go ahead and do a reading with you. This would be my 3rd about this job..maybe it's not meant to be huh? The weirdest part that I can't seem to let go of is the fact that the previous reader said I'll start in March! I really didn't tell her much about the job but my only question was, I applied to a job, just wanted to find out the outcome. And boy...for the 30mins..she was on point about everything..*sigh*

I hope you can contact the other recruiter. usually persistence is what impresses these people.

I was turned down for a job 3 times in the past and he finally hired me just to get me to leave him alone. So, maybe if here's a lesson here? I don't know.

Maybe talk to your rootworker about this?

Currently, my biggest areas of focus are : school, work and money.

I’m in grad school, my last semester, and for this I would really like some help with staying motivated to finish and have things go in my favor. This is my third time taking the classes that I’m currently enrolled in, so I’m ready to complete them this time around.

The last jobs that I’ve had have been in behavior therapy, which is what my degree will be in as well. However, I’m wanting to branch out or rather draw to me what work would most fulfill me.

I’m trying to save money for a home and for solo travels. So, this would tie in to having work that gives me a flexible schedule, and that helps me to pay off school debts. My grad school debt is high and I recently had to be hospitalized and now have a high medical bill as well.

I’m not sure what materials I should work with that would best help with either or all of these matters.

As you are new here, you seem to be asking a whole lot of different questions in one post, so i took the liberty of moving your thread into the thread on job-getting, because it seems that many of your desires hinge on getting a good job.

So, welcome to the Lucky Mojo Forum and let me explain that the type of work we do (unlike the type of work that you do, in behavioural therapy) is narrowly focussed on gaining an edge in specific situations rather than on overall integration of the person into society. In other words, a spell for self motivation to finish a task (competing grad school or any other program) would come under the small category of self-help spells, while a spell to do well in a job interview would be part of the very large array of job-getting spells, and a spell to locate and purchase a house would be a third type of spell, and a get-out-of-debt spell, regardless of the cause of the deb (student loans, chronic poverty, or a mortgage used to purchase a home, for instance) would be a fourth category of spell. Each of these would have a distinctive goal, and to each there has adhered, over many decades, a series of well known (and lesser known) folk magic practices.

I could have put your post into the thread on college issues, but that would not have dealt with your job issues. i am going to DISCARD here the self-motivation, the house-purchase, and the get-out-of-debt spells and focus only on the JOB-GETTING. You can post about the other matters in their relevant sections of the Forum, in threads that already cover those topics, where discussions and spell-sharing have been going on since 2008.

Okay, so here we are in 2016 in the Job-Getting thread in the Money sub-forum.

First thing i think you should do is read the 20 previous pages on this topic. You will see MANY ideas for spells, accounts of how people came to practice hoodoo and what they expect to accomplish through it, and reports of successes and failures.

Along the way you will also see many links to my personal web site, and particularly to the free online book i have written called "Hoodoo in Theory and Practice." Follow those links and read the web pages (which also contain spells you can cast) and continue through the thread until you arrive back here.

When you get back, formulate a question! Tell us what you hope for and what kind of job applications you will be dealing with -- in-person, online, via a friend-network, head-hunting, or a recruitment agency. Because hoodoo is in large part contact magic, the kind of rootwork you can and will be advised to do will vary greatly, based on how (or if) you will be placed in contact with prospective employers.

I've found a job that I really, really want, and I do believe I'm qualified, but I want to 'boost' my potential to get it! I was thinking to make a honey jar with the name and photo of the woman in charge of hiring, as well as burning a crown of success candle. Does that sound about right? Should I do a road opener candle instead? Or something completely different...?

I would like to start Nursing school next month. (April) The schedule is 8-5am M-F. So I am looking for work that is at night, or on weekends, or very flexible/ at my own pace. I recently started a business offering birth chart, tarot/oracle readings and surprise gift box subscriptions so I would love if this provided the reliable main source of income. I would need help with customers purchasing from my online store, through my social media pages: etsy, instagram, blog site, twitter…

I’m open to other work such as babysitting or private behavior therapy sessions or with an agency. I would apply to those positions online through craigslist most likely.

Hi everyone,

About a month ago I performed a purple candle spell to get a great job or fellowship in a specific area. I applied to a fellowship that Is highly competitive within that region and recently received an email that it has had a preliminary review and was sent to the hiring office and is under a second review so I take this as some positive movement!

Now this is my dream fellowship and I would love to get it. I posted my prayer request to get this fellowship with the crystal silence league and plan on having lucky mojo light a crown of success vigil on my behalf. I was thinking of having them adding attraction , look me over , I can you cant (because I have a lot of competition ) fast luck and road opener products to this.
In addition to this combo is there anything I should be doing at home in order to perhaps push the scales in my favor ? I'd love to be called for an interview but right now I am just in limbo waiting to see how the application review goes.

I'd appreciate any ideas on how to keep the positive momentum moving so that I get this amazing fellowship.

Hi Everyone,

I need a job, like yesterday, but my overall attitude toward myself sabotages me.

After a sequence of events, I have some physical health problems and I'm fighting major bipolar depression, PTSD and anxiety, with a handful of somatic symptoms, attention problems and cognitive issues accompanying the anxiety. Being bipolar has never impacted my professional life until recently. I am a mess, I'm in therapy and trying to work thru my problems, but it's not happening overnight and now, finding the financial means to maintain treatment has become a struggle. I've always either worked or I've been a student, being unemployed and out of the academic world makes me feel even worse about myself even though initially it was by choice.

My mental health is an obstacle, fear is an obstacle, my self worth is an obstacle and in all honesty, a 60-day stay at a private in-patient facility would serve me best, but obviously I don't have $68,000 to drop on that.

I need to go back to work as soon as possible, but I already struggle for the strength to do basic everyday things, so even looking for a job is challenging.

I have an impressive work history, but the professional gap in my resume concerns me, every so often I volunteer with creative arts related organizations so hopefully that makes up for it.

These days, I'm deeply effected by the people and things around me so it has to be the right kind of job in the right kind of environment with the right kind of people.

Keeping in mind that I really have no funds to spare, and knowing that my disenchantment with the the world and my place in it is an obstacle, what can I do to get myself back in the workforce as quickly as possible?

Any advice is appreciated. Sorry if this is too much information.

Hello. I got a weird situation I need help with.
I had a job at a perfect company with an awesome manager.
But I resigned for a new position which I should start in a week due to rumors about me been retrenched. My manager did not want me to leave, but unfortunately I have to or else I will be sued by the new company. My manager even told me that he was been promoted and I was the one up for his position .

what spell can I do to make my current company either offer me the new manager position or hold my current position. I thought maybe honey jar, but the decision of me becoming manager has to be approved by the executive committee of which there are 11 members . Can i do a honey jar with 11 pieces of paper with their names on it

I need some quick help to salvage a phone interview (Thursday) I didn't do as well as I would have liked. Some questions I did very well on, but on an important one, I was all over the place.

I also haven't gotten some requested info to them as I cant access the job website. I left a message for the recruiter today making her aware of the situation. I contacted the person that asked me for the info by email last Thursday as well and they have not gotten back to me.

All of this transpired very quickly and I didn't have time to mentally prepare myself. Add to that the fact that my husband lied to me for the last time on Easter Sunday and I am making preparations to separate. Needless to say my head was not in the game.

I am very new to this.

Earlier, I purchased a Crown of Success candle to be lit on my behalf at MISC. I will be happy to get the appropriate kit once I advance to the next stage, but need some help to ensure that will happen. The product would not ship fast enough. The time frame for a thanks-but-no-thanks message could be a week. That could be as soon as Thursday.

I have printed an email with the company logo, written the 2 names I have, my name written over the open position and a petition written on the back in sugar. Put that together last night and petitioned today in the hour of Jupiter for expansion of prosperity with this new job and sweetness to those in charge of my application. A white tea light was inscribed on the top, and bottom, dressed with jasmine oil, cardamon and lit on top of the sugar packet with a piece of blue calcite. I plan to light a candle over it each day.

I have some oils (peppermint, jasmine, rose, cage, rosemary, eucalyptus, lavender, basil, olive, grape seed) and spices (lavender, cinnamon, nutmeg, coriander, cloves, oregano). I also have an assortment of crystals.

I read half of the thread on interviews, but didn't see anything on how to salvage a shaky process. So my question are:

1. How quickly are the MISC candles lit once they have been purchased?

2. What can else I do to help get my application to the next step?

3. Provided I get to the next step, what would be the right product/actions for a panel interview?

1. Generally MISC candles are lit the next day -- downloaded the first day if they come EARLY in the morning and then prepared (labelled, fixed, dressed, prayed over); and lit the next morning. If they come in LATE in the day, though, they are not downloaded until the morning after, which adds one day to the processes. You can also phone in or email in for an Emergency Light, which is free and will burn for about 2 hours.

2. What you are doing sounds very good.

3. I suggest you read through this thread from page one. I would try to get some job-drawing herbs -- Gravel Root is popular for this.

Thank you kindly for the reply, esp the part about my spell work. I was in a bit of a panic after not hearing anything Friday-Monday. There has been some movement, so I am a lot calmer. The info on the MISC candle process is much appreciated.

Yesterday, the ball got rolling and after phone call from the recruiter and a couple of emails, I was finally able to access the system. Stayed up late refining my responses. So my submission for this round is complete. Also, when running errands, 2 signs appeared with the company logo; one after the other one.

So hopefully the combined synergies are working. I plan to go get something from the company with the logo on it and toss that in the sugar packet. Will continue doing the daily candles.

I went back and gleaned the thread for herbs. In addition to gravel root, I am going to look for the benzoin, and five finger herbs. Once I get advanced to the next round, I will put in my order for Steady Work, Crown of Success as well as a few others. Making a list.

I have done much reading on Lucky Mojo site. Thank you for this great resource.

Update

Monday, I got the call for my in-person interview! Yay! But super quick, as my options were Thursday or Friday. So no time to get an order in since I chose Thursday.

I did call and the MISC has a Safe Travels and Crown of Success going for me. Papa Michael (please edit if names are not allowed) was really nice and patient with me to insure that my order was taken care of.

I made a packet of powdered sugar and cinnamon (read that in a posting here) and have been wearing/holding that the last couple of days. I am going to put more company logos in it tonight, light a candle on it and will dust myself before going in.

So far, I am not nervous and feel really good about my chances. An offer from this company would be amazing and improve my life in a few areas.

Ms. Cat and Miss Aida,

I got an offer on the spot!!! The interview could not a have gone better if I planned it myself. The woman was so nice and not only did we click, we had some very specific things in common. It was a little uncanny.

I am thankful for the LM forum as I did a great deal of reading and pulled some tips that I incorporated to "back up" everything I was doing in the mundane world. I am also glad the MISC (shout out to Papa Michael!) had the candles burning as I had to take a flight to get to the interview so it would have been really difficult to do that on my own, not to mention everything moved so quickly I didn't have time to order supplies.

So in the meantime I am making a list for a sizable order and hope I will become even better at bringing about desired results.

A special thanks to Jupiter, Venus and my zodiac ruler The Sun. I have plans to make an individualized offering to each one on my alter for their much needed patronage.

I've had a lot of ups and downs but I do believe things are turning around. I am grateful to have a new job with a fantastic company so instead of dwelling on the end of my marriage, I can be excited about a positive future.

I've been stuck in a dead-end job for years. I'm a great asset to the company but my boss pays me peanuts. Every time I start trying to find something new, I get blocked in every imaginable way - computers die, phones die, and all kinds of confusion and confidence issues arise. I know my boss is very experienced at conjure and that she does use it on her staff. I'm experienced at conjure, too, but I find myself stymied on this issue!

Thanks for your reply, Miss Athena! The problem with protecting the work area is that I do share it with my boss, so we can go around undoing each other's stuff and re-doing our own all week long! There are actually two bosses who I believe are working to keep their best staff stuck working there for low pay with tongues tied, and I share that workstation with them both. I like the basil idea. A couple of weeks ago a customer brought me a huge live basil plant - now I think I understand why. I took it home but would it help at all to have it growing in the work area?

Sounds like Spirit knew you needed Basil on your side...yes, you can put the plant in your work area. It will help to keep any malicious energy away from you.

You could always put the water from your steeped basil in a little spray bottle and occasionally spray your personal work area. You can always make it look like you're cleaning up your desk. It doesn't have to look suspicious to anyone else.

I had an interview on Saturday and I thought it went really good. Obviously not because I got an email today saying pretty much I didn't get the position. I really need this position it will be a great change for me and my children. Is there any kind of work to make them hire me? I do know they are looking for 82 people and it has to be filled in three weeks so I know there still is time. Someone please please help. Before the steady work kit was suggested but I really don't have time to wait for it to arrive. Usually when I order it takes about a month or more to come. Is there anything else that I can use that I can possibly go find to buy within a week?

Thank you very much for replying to my message. I would like to introduce myself but I can't find the introduction thread.

I did look over the thread, but nothing seems to fit my predicament.

I have been a teacher for 35 years, but I have not taught in the same school. I desperately need a full-time job because of financial obligations. I have been trying to sell my house overseas, but have had no takers. I still owe on the mortgage. My boyfriend is older than me and he would like to work. He usually can make extra money playing music, but he has had very little for the past two years.

I have applied to many schools, but no one has offered me a contract. I am beginning to think I have been crossed, although I have worked part-time this year. I think my boyfriend has been particularly unlucky. He lost a small fortune due to a bad investment and lately he has no gigs

I feel as if obstacles keep coming up and I don't know why.

We very much need help, but don't know where to turn. I would be extremely grateful to know the right thing to do.

I initially posted about needing a job a couple of months ago and have been following Miss Aida's advice about praying to St. Dymphna, but financially, I can no longer hold off on finding employment. I need a job and am not having much luck finding one. I've never had to look for a job before, I always got lucky and they either fell into my lap when I needed one or I'd randomly contact an organization and voilà, I'd have a job. I'm starting to think maybe I should attract the job to me instead of the other way around.

I'm a horticulturist and have worked in several public gardens. I love the job itself and the other horticulturists I worked with, but people from other departments, like security and IT, were a great source of anxiety on almost a daily basis. In my original post I said

Jobs like these don't come around too often so I've been expanding my search to include other creative employment opportunities. I need more than just a job with a paycheck though, I need a job that will help ground me mentally and emotionally, sorry if that sounds bizarre, but I don't know how to word it otherwise, working with plants keeps me grounded... the job needs to be fulfilling on a level beyond salary and it has to be a job that wont contribute to my anxiety and hyper vigilance: my PTSD is rooted in the things that happened at two previous jobs and while I am still in therapy, I am terrified of anything like that ever happening again, and now certain types of people just really freak me out - how do I specify something like this in a petition? Aside from not seeing anything listed, my major obstacle is fear about the kind of people who may be adjacent to my work space and this isn't something I'm just going to get over anytime soon.

Basically, I'm hoping to attract/find a job centered around creativity and working with my hands like ornamental horticulture or something related to art (although I have no actual experience with art other than volunteer work) with an organization that will allow me to learn and grow, that it is fulfilling, and helps keep me grounded. It needs to be in a safe, healthy environment that I feel comfortable with - where I wont be regularly harassed or assaulted (this is soooo important) and it should provide long term income that covers all of my expenses.

Someone might give me a little money ("might" being the key word) and while it feels a little irresponsible to spend $20 of that on a candle at MISC, I'm considering it. I would potentially only be able to afford one candle, would it be "attraction" or "steady work" and what would the petition say in under 300 characters?

Hi LM forum, it's been a long time since I've last been here and things have been going incredibly well (thanks to LM of course).

Recently I've made some really impulsive decisions and now I'm far from home(New York) and now in Las Vegas with no job. I won't be staying here for more than 3 months but I would like to be working during that time because I don't like being taken care of, I do have a side business but it's slow going. The company I previously worked for is hiring in two locations in this city and I want to work for them again. Of course I'm going to send in an application but from my previous experience that could take upwards of a month plus before I can begin working, I'm think of going to the office and talking to the manager and being upfront about the situation (Good idea? Bad idea?), the Job requires training that I've already received from working back home and therefore I think I would make a good employee even though it'll only be a short time.

I have with me Commanding, Crown of Success, Fast Luck, Love Me, Money Drawing, Crucible of Courage and Saint Expedite oils, as well as Steady work Sachet powder. I know I want to use the Crown of Success and Fast Luck oils, maybe the Love me so I seem more charming, I'm thinking of commanding too but I don't want to come off too headstrong, of course I'll be dressing my clothes with the sachet. As for the Crucible of courage I'm thinking of dressing m hands with it so that a it gets on the manager when I shake their hand. I would pray for them to have the courage to hire me despite my short stay.

Am I going in the right direction? Any advice is appreciated!

Will it do more harm than good to do more than one spell at a time to get a specific job offer? I called on St. Expedite with nothing. I need this job more than anything. I've looked up a few other spells to try and land the position. Will it be ok to do all of them or will that be over doing it?

Hello, mi55understood, I'd say that depends on your experience with conjure. If you're new to this sort of work, doing a whole bunch of spells all at once could be overwhelming, especially if you're already stressed about finding work. But if you've given St. Expedite some time to come through for you (he likes to wait until the last minute) and you haven't seen any signs or changes, then by all means, try something else. I personally use the seals of solomon just close my eyes and point, sometime best 2 out 3, and it tells me what I need today. I don't know where you are but in the southeast we have mimosa, and poke growing the front yard, oak moss, meadowsweet, your a horticulturalist use it.

Hi Mezan,

I am sorry to hear this. I was in this same situation a couple of years ago when I quit a job because of an unethical supervisor who turned out to be good friends with a prospective hiring manager at a new company I interviewed at. I was concerned that she would interfere with my ability to get that job.

I would suggest working a Stop Gossip spell kit using your former company as the named target. The kit has everything you need, plus complete instructions, so it is as close to fool-proof as you can get. I worked this on my former supervisor and it shut her up but good! I wish you similar results.

Hello everyone! Nice to meet you! I'm sorry for the short introduction but I have a real urgent need and was hoping someone could help. I will introduce myself properly later when I have a chance.
I currently work for a company who have been hit hard with an economic downturn and they have sprung redundancy on us. There are six in our team and one needs to go. I have a meeting tomorrow and an assessment and if I'm unsuccessful I'm out. Are there any quick spells I can do? I have purple candles, brown papers, the managers signature, liquorice root, calamus root, five finger grass I collected and almond oil. He doesn't have hair so I can't collect any today.

I've been reading through Paper In My Shoe and there's a quick one there to sweeten a judge, using the name 9 times on a square of paper and adding sugar and cinnamon. If I did this and folded it seed packet style to seal the ingredients would this do as a quick fix? The guy isn't really a "judge" but will be judging my ability to perform the job. Welcome to the forum

You may want to put you and the boss in a sugar jar (not honey) for quick results with a petition paper making him sweet to you

You can crush the Calamus root and/or the licorice root. Put the oil on your purple candle and then roll it in the herbs. Your petition would say to keep you.

Most importantly, you may want to immediately start praying to God (with a white candle) that your job is kept. Honestly, with such short notice, I think that the sugar jar and the prayers to God are your best bet for faster results. Spells usually don't work overnight.

Also, as you just posted, that is an excellent idea about the paper in your shoe

That's all I can think of with such short notice and with the supplies that you have

I have been married for two years. My husband is a marine officer. He sails for three months and come home for three months. Since, we got engaged I am asking him to get a home for us only. Right now we are living with his family. His parents, and three siblings.

I feel there is no privacy for us and I can't get along with their overspending unhealthy lifestyle.

They also interrupt in our personal matters too much. If me and my husband has little fight the entire family will boycott me. They talk to me nicely when my husband is around and when he is not around they be sarcastic to me. Their words are well crafted that I can't complain to my husband but only I know what they mean.

I hesitate a lot to have my have a baby (even though we both love children). The thought of raising my children with my in laws presence really scares me.

I am looking for a spell to change my husband's job. I want him to have a shore job and come home to me every day.

Secondly, the job must be in a place far away from my in laws and he must bring me together. His friends choose to come home twice a week. I don't want that. I want to move in with him.

Is there a spell I can do to move to a new place? Better to a another country. Or to never visit a certain place.

We already have a house in another city. I was so excited about having a chance to go there, but now he wants to rent the house.

Help me, please. I don't want to waste another year thinking about getting settled and starting a family.
