Ok, so I have a jar of molasses, my petition written out, a strand of my target's hair and a strand of my hair tied together, and candle, and a bottle of come to me oil..I'm waiting for the herbs from LMJ, my question is that can I start my honey jar now and whenever my herbs arrive just open the jar and add them?

Hello Debrarouse,

Honey jars aren't like mojo bags—you're allowed to open them and add ingredients. I think in this instance it's really up to you. Personally, I would wait until I had all the components I needed instead of doing a rush job. But yes, you can add the herbs later if that is your wish.

Yea I know tell me about it. I have have so many obstacles and I don't even know why? I'm using the baby jars, my money honey jar seems ok, the one I created first I boiled to keep it shut, then now this one that I created was working fine and after I did the vinegar jar the next day I check on the honey jar had crystallized, then I put it I warm water (hot) the jars cap decides to get loose a bit I didn't open it but...I hope this is not a bad sign. I really saw progress happening in this person bit by bit but yesterday she ended up in a little argument with me.....yet I could help think omg maybe it's because of my honey jar a little loose cap. Thanks you guys....it's wonderful to know that there is a form and support here.

You guys do a great job in helping us. I just want to thank u all for all the help u have given to me. I am going to do just that...I'll transfer everything over and add new honey and herbs... I'll use the same hair, pictures etc...omg I just wish all this wasn't so hard for me to do a 3rd jar. Many thanks!

Hello.... I made some petitions and added them to my honey jar but i want to make sure these particular petitions are fit to be inside the honey jar. I'm trying to sweeten my lover to me because i feel like another woman has his interest at this point. the 2 petitions i have are as follows:

Petition# 1-it says "powers that be, powers of 3, let me be all (my lovers name) sees". I covered it with my name over his. Then i circled it with the words "see only me" and i anointed the petition with bend over oil in each corner and added follow me boy powder.

Petition# 2-his name 9 times and my name 9 times over his, Then i circled it with the words "love me only" and i anointed the petition with bend over oil in each corner and added follow me boy powder.

I guess im trying to make sure i did this correctly. Thanks in advance for any feedback given

My first honey jar...I literally my candle and let it burn for a couple of hours and the wax drippings made a heart shape, which one side of the heart was a little longer than the other side. That seems to be a good sign to me. What does everyone else think?

I've been lighting pink tea lights with the appropriate oils on top of my sugar jar since last week. The purpose of my jar is to sweeten this guy to me that I casually dated a few times. My question is when it comes time to dispose them at a crossroads, how exactly do I go about doing that? My apologies for sounding ignorant about the subject. I just want to make sure that I do this correctly.

Another question I had is since I'm using tea lights, there aren't exactly any signs that I can see in the wax. My reason for using tea lights instead of a free standing candle is because for what ever reason, my free standing candles won't stand on their own! I have 4 inch candles that are somewhat slim in width. The very first one that I used (on the Full moon this month) worked superbly well. I melted the wax on the bottom and it stood the whole 2 hours and melted down until i was left with the shape of a heart (great sign). But since then, I haven't been so lucky with getting my candle to stand. It's also a bit too thin to stand in a holder as well. Are tea lights alright to use in this case? Thank you!

Hello Ladee,

Tea lights are ok to use. I would leave them in their little metal containers though. to use your smaller taper candles you may just need to heat the bottom of them a little longer or something to get a firm grip on the top of your jar. I would make sure to watch your jar of you try using them again just to be safe. You are right that you are not really going to get signs left in the wax from a tea light. That is just the nature of those candles. But you can still keep an eye on the flame to look for signs there. As for disposing of the these things this kind of work is not something I personally would dispose of in general unless I was done with the working and no longer wanted my target to be getting sweet to me. You can keep a honey jar for a long time. I have one that I have been working for three years!

Dear Dollie,

A sugar, honey, or molasses jar does not cause a person to "obsess." It makes them sweeter. If he has no contact with you, you have no use for a honey jar because there is nothing there to make be sweeter.

I advise that you first try a contact spell. If that works, then you may proceed to making the contact sweeter with a honey or sugar jar -- or making it obsessive, with an obsession spell. They are not the same kind of spells atall.

Hi, Thank you for responding. From your experience, which will you recommend for him to only think about me. Love me only. Can't "see" any other women? I sometimes feel the long distance relationship strains us. I don't want him going to anyone else. He's been on FB adding multiple women, liking photos, chatting. Please also advise seeing that he lives in a different country how strong can these spells work crossing oceans.

Spells can work across distances, as Spirit is not limited by geography. Obviously the closer you are to your target, the more opportunities you have to lay tricks in their physical environment, but I've seen spells work across distances. Have faith in your work.

I have been working a honey jar with a crush target for the last few weeks. I light a candle every MWF but my honey jar is getting so big I am having a hard time finding a place to keep it the wax has completely covered the plate not to mention the jar. Can I remove some of the wax or will this affect the work?

That's an awful lot of accumulation for the amount of time and frequency with which you're working. What size candles are you using?

As to your question, there's no hard-and-fast rule about that. Some practitioners leave it, some remove it - just make sure, if you do that, that you do so with intention and dispose of it ritually.

And Dollie - I can tell you from personal experience that semen does not preserve well if you keep it in liquid form. Even refrigerated it's going to start to smell really bad before too long, and you don't want that in your honey jar. But if you saturate a piece of cloth or string with it and then let it dry that should serve you nicely.

Think of it this way: the herbs and roots that Lucky Mojo sells are dried. They are collected with intention from the living plants and dried with intention for use in spellwork and considered no less potent than if they were live plants from your own yard. In fact, dried can be much better than not - imagine you have in front of you a pile of rose petals that were dried while the flower was at the peak of its beauty, and next to that is a bouquet of roses that's been sitting in its vase for about a week and the flower heads are drooping and the water's starting to turn a weird color. Which do you think would give better spellwork results?

I have been using 6 inch pink and red candles. I will probably end up having to separate the wax and bury it in a pot. Is there a special prayer? I will recite my intentions as I bury but I am torn

about separating the wax from the honey jar. The wax formations are very beautiful.

Hi I got into a accident a while ago and I wanted to do a honey jar for my adjuster. Adjusters are known for not wanting to help, they make sure your medical bills are not paid and they don't like to pay lost wages they basically try to make you settle so they save the insurance money ... I wanted to know if a honey jar would be a good way to sweeten her and get her on my side to make sure all medical bills are paid and stuff? The only personal concern I have of hers is a photocopied signature in a letter in the mail. Also if you could suggest herbs and oil as well if possible so I can order ASAP ? Thanks

I am brand spanking new to the forum and to magic.

I just started a honey jar that has dried baby Rose petals, Damiana, Jezebel root, Cinnamon, Vanilla extract, Love Me Oil, Domination Oil, a picture of my mate that I want to attract back to me as well as my child's and my picture together, and of course honey. I also placed a 7 knob candle on top. I have a red one that I'm using now.

I want him to come back on his hands in knees and to feel remorse.

What is your thoughts on my jar?

I hope that this will work, I will like to also hear some stories as to how it went for you guys.

I know you are new to magic, and perhaps your prayers will help, but what you have made is a mess of conflicting intentions.

Let me go through this in quick detail.

A sugar or honey spell is made to sweeten someone. Being dominated, being forced to crawl, and feeling remorse are not sweet emotions.

These are SWEET eleements of your jar:

Rose petals -- love
Vanilla extract -- sweet love
Love Me Oil -- love
Photos of you, your child, and your ex
Honey -- to sweeten the people in the jar

These elements are SEXUAL:

Rose petals -- sexual love
Vanilla extract -- sweet love
Love Me Oil -- love
Jezebel Root -- slutty sex
Damiana -- an aphrodisiac
Red candle -- for sexual desires

These items are DOMINATING (and fight the weetness):

Jezebel Root -- slutty sex and sexual cursing
Domination Oil -- to rule and control someone against his or her will
Your intention for him "to come back on his hands in knees" -- cruel domination
Your intention for him "to feel remorse"-- mental influence with infliction of shame

I suggest that you dismantle this honey jar. It is not well thought out, from my point of view. Then search your soul. Do you want sweetness or domination?

Just wondering, is the use of a candle on top of the honey jar enough to be considered a candle spell/magick? Or should a honey jar be used in conjunction & along side with a stronger type of candle spell like a figural candle/movement spell or vigil candle? I want to start a new honey jar. Can I just dispose of the honey in my kitchen sink? Also, can I reuse the hair from the old honey jar as I don't think I will be able to get a hair again. It's for the same person. After researching some more as to what I should be doing I feel like I was definitely doing it incorrectly and not clear with my intentions. Honey jars sweeten the person to you. But, other spells will bring in faster and more specific results

But, your dilemma is the hair.

Is there anyway that you could just add what is needed to the old honey jar?

I have used honey jars for work, etc but never for love, friendship, or anything like that. I have a question I was hoping you guys could weigh in on.

I'm interested in dating a friend of a friend. The problem is, my original friend had feelings for me in the past, and I'm not sure if he still does, and if he does, how strong they are. His friend, the one i want to date, knows this too.

I wouldn't feel right asking my original friend if he has a problem, because I don't want to make it awkward or make him feel like he has to approve, even if he doesn't like it.

I have no personal concerns of either of them, but I could get a photo pretty easily.

1) Would using a honey jar to sweeten my original friend to the idea of me possibly dating his friend be a good way to go? I definitely don't want to sweeten him to me, just to the idea of me dating his friend.

2) Do you think a honey jar would work for this or would I be better off going a different route entirely?

A friend of mine was told about a spell that opens someone's heart towards you which requires turning a key in a jar/bowl/glass of sugar every day. This idea was given to her by one of your root workers and I just wanted to know if anyone could let me know where I can find more information on this type of sweetening spell.
