Hello everyone!
I am a 43 year old employee at (name of company) in Memphis,TN and need any advice on any hoodoo work (candles, mojohands etc) for improving physical strength. I work in an area currently that has a lot of heavy boxes and since I am on the petite side (4'11";117 lbs) could use all the extra help I can get. Should I purchase or make my own? I am mixed and my hair was long, but stopped growing when I was 8 years old.

I did multiple readings about this. Several readers have confirmed that my hair was cut at a friend's house and taken to someone who worked a spell to stop its growth because of jealousy.

A reader from Haiti told me I would have to go to a graveyard and pay a spirit to retrieve my stolen hair. Does anyone here know how do I do this ritual -- or any other ritual to regrow and restore the length of hair that was removed and worked on?

As you know, this forum is for advice in the traditional practice of hoodoo. We don't advise on spells that come from other spiritual traditions, as that it outside of the purpose of this forum.

That said, you can do some Uncrossing work on yourself to rid yourself of anything thrown for you that might be affecting your hair. Cleanse your home with Chinese Wash, take an Uncrossing bath in the traditional manner and then put up Protection for yourself and your home. This will help rid you of any spiritual messes and protect you from any new ones sticking to you.

Hi,

I’m relatively new to all this. There’s a lot going on in my life right now. I might sound quite stupid and naive.

I'm transgender and have been struggling a lot over the past few years, with how I look and feel about myself, I dropped out of school a couple years ago because of it, I'm quite anti-social and other things that I just need help with, and I was hoping that someone or something could help me change that in anyway.

I was wondering if there was any kind of angel or another entity that could grant wishes, change things physically or externally, or just make things any bit easier that would be able to help me. If someone could help conjure them for or with me.

By the way, I’d just like to mention I have been getting professional help for a while now, but I’m at a bit of a dead end and would really like some spiritual help that might be able to assist me. Thank you for reading this and your help.

Everyone has been highly promoting the oils in this thread, but I was wondering if my LM powders would be as effective. I mean I would think so, just to dress myself with daily, I have to dig them out, but before I go ahead and plan a paycheck ahead for new oils I'd like to know if I can suppliment with my powders in the meantime. Yes you can use powders, I do all the time. I lightly blow my Power sachet on the inside of my shirt or jacket if I know I'm going to need that extra omf the next day. I also sometimes use Boss Fix and Crown of Success by dressing my body before dressing. Just make sure if you use lotion, you wait until it's dry before you apply. You can also sprinkle some in your shoes. Oils are great but powders work just as well. You just find different ways of using them.

I have some Crown of Success Powder that I put in my hair when I need a little boost

It works like a little bit of dry shampoo for me, and I sometimes prefer that to dressing my forehead with the oil.

If you've got the powders, go for it! Just remember if you're dressing your body, to rub upwards to draw in the goodness.

Can anyone recommend a weight loss spell with some staying power?

My issue is that I don't necessarily have trouble losing the weight- in fact I quite enjoy physical activity and need it to keep mentally healthy (among other things).

However, I suspect it might be my pesky Jupiter in Cancer causing me to gain and lose the same pesky 15 lbs back and forth!

Hello everyone,

I want to start a business which I am very excited and passionate about, but I am lacking self-confidence and self-belief that I can make it work.

I was awarded a Distinction in my diploma for this profession, but it was several years ago and I haven't done any of this work since then. I am now concerned that because so much time has passed since I qualified that I will not be good enough to help my future clients. I feel like I've forgotten everything I learned in my training and qualifications, even though my rational brain knows that I haven't!

So I have two questions:

1) What spells do you recommend to get these silly doubts out of my head? They are the only thing holding me back.

2) I want to work with a very specific type of client in this business, so what spells can I do to confidently attract (and confidently help) those specific people?

Hi Poppy,

The only issue with using oils in baths is that the oils tend to evaporate if the water is really hot, like you're dropping it onto a lightbulb and diffusing it. I use oils in my baths, but I tend to have the little bottle with me and then wait until the water's cooled a bit and drop it onto the surface, then quickly do my bathing motions (up to draw something in, or down to send something away), while the oil is still there.

Bath crystals are just simpler because you don't have to worry about evaporating oils.

No medical issues though-honestly- the weight gain corresponds with my relationships. When I'm in a romantic relationship, I tend to just fully "let go" for the person that I'm with. I'm a Capricorn, when I'm single and solo it's like my life comes together perfectly, I'm in great shape, making lots of money, focusing on self-growth and doing the things that fulfill me. However, I suspect because I'm a moon in Libra that when I'm in relationship, it's like those natural patterns that feel good to me just go right out of the window and I feel guilt around not being 100% available to my partner. Because of this, I can overindulge. I do enjoy it, I really love having fun with my partners, but I can't seem to get things done in the same way as I can when I am single.

Okay, that makes more sense. To me, this seems like less of a Weight Loss Spell issue, and more of a working on the situations that lead you to gaining weight. I totally am in that same boat myself--figuring out my triggers and what emotional situations lead to me overeating. A weight loss spell is only going to go so far, but then you need to figure out what you need to do to make time for yourself and keep from overindulging.

John the Conqueror is great for personal power as well as will power, and can help in these sorts of scenarios (even for women):

I’ve been looking for a spell to help with weight loss. I eat very healthy (almost entirely vegan, save the occasional fish), I exercise when my chronic pain/fatigue allows. I walk every day. But I seem to still be moving in the opposite direction. Doctors have been useless on this front my whole life (even when I was dancing six days a week and going to the gym, they just would say, exercise more). Short of starving myself nothing seems to work. Spellwork advice on this would be greatly appreciated.

I hope this is the right section to post this question.

What would I use or do to feel like a walking goddess? I guess that’s what I’m asking for. I want to feel sparkly, radiant, joyous, girly, happy, bubbly, iridescent, feminine, sensual and womanly all wrapped up into one. To me that sounds like a goddess.

I was recently diagnosed with cancer at the height of shut down in my state due to the carona virus. So between covid 19 and cancer, I don’t see anyone except my close family, oncologist and nurses during chemo. I’m not interested in attracting anyone to me. I want to feel this way for myself.

If I were in my right mind, I guess I’d be looking for help with healing and blessing. LOL But I’m not scared. I know I will get through this. I take it as another stage In life and also a big transformation. The old and corrupted will be destroyed and I will emerge as a new me. With all the chemo and radiation, I expect to come out of this no less than a super hero...ahem, correction...goddess.

I’m not sad or depressed. I’m just lacking energy, vitality and that extra spark I haven’t felt in awhile. I want to use this time working on my spirituality, magick, practicing adorning myself and self love.

Lol I’ve been checking my email to see if my question had been posted instead of looking at the notification on the forum. Well, that gave me plenty of time to read through the threads before I realized a response. Just wow. I’ve learned a lot so far. I’m really liking the more tangible qualities and common sense approaches to hoodoo.

I’m also starting to realize that some of what I’m asking for are actually symptoms of having self confidence and self esteem. So Ive already read through those suggested threads which were really helpful. Thanks for the suggestion though Miss Athena.

But the other qualities I’m not sure about. Is it possible to not just have love for my self but instead be in love with myself. I mean, Love for my mom is not the same as being in love with some man. Also, I am the only person who is going to be with me until death do us part. Lol.

Seriously being in love, being perfectly tipsy and being high off of ecstasy pills all feel very similar. I’m fully present, everything is beautiful and enchanting and I’m so comfortable with myself that I lack shame or embarrassment. Those are also the times when I feel sparkly and not have it be so fleeting.

What does that have to do with being a goddess? Maybe she walks in love with herself and self care, among other things, is her romance. This leads me to asking can bewitching or even chupparosa (for long term love) products be used on oneself? Romance is defined as a feeling of excitement and mystery associated with love. Does this concept even make sense?

I just want to have so much extra love to give. You know, hand out only the spillage from my cup that has runeth over. I’ve experienced emptying my cup to others before and that’s no fun.

As for your question, being in love with yourself and having enough loving feelings to spare for yourself when you are pouring them onto another, are two different things.

I don't understand the concept of "being in love" with yourself, as in romantic love, but I do understand loving yourself. Self-care is what I am sensing from your post, and this goes hand in hand with self-confidence and self-esteem. I would focus on that work, which would help you preserve more of yourself in your interactions with others. That's a form of loving yourself and being your own greatest ally.

Miss Athena I Really have no clue what being in love with oneself is. I can’t fathom even doing that to be honest. I think I’m going to need something for clarity to find the essence of what I’m really talking about. I guess bottling up the “high” from being in love and using it for a different purpose is not what I’m looking for.

I kept reading about king Solomon oil for wisdom, crucible of courage for confidence, and crown of success for success. I figure the feminine aspect I already have and will show more when I’m in full confidence. But I could still throw in some feminizing herbs in the bunch to be on safe side. I still feel like something is missing though.

Maybe I just need to give a try on the self love department. If something is still missing, then I’m sure what it is will be revealed to me.

I agree with you about finding clarity to find out what exactly you are looking for. Fully define the need/issue first and write it down. Once you have it in detail, it will be so much easier to find the answer.

I do know that feeling of love you are talking about but I don't think it's possible to feel that way permanently. People have highs and lows but almost always return to that base mid point. It is possible to elevate that baseline but it takes time, self discipline, and positive thinking so your mind gets use to the "new" normal. I hope this makes sense.

I'm a successful entrepreneur who has been trying to take the next step in putting myself & my digital advertising agency out there on stages, in masterminds, in publications, and on higher- caliber platforms. But something's preventing me from doing what I need to do to get there. Possibly negative thoughts, likely fear of being judged & scrutinized, fear of messing up. Possibly imposter syndrome. Likely all of these things. I went through a pretty traumatic situation with a group of people I thought were my friends who tried to destroy my personal reputation and I've dimmed my light & moved in fear & trepidation ever since. It's gotten to the point where I struggle to communicate with people who I know are where I need to be & could help if I could foster relationships with them & turn them into allies. Part of that is an inability to trust again; the other part is loss of confidence.

Can you tell me what hoodoo conjure I should use to eliminate the issues I have that have probably jinxed me & restore the fearlessness, power & my ability to influence and connect that I had when I was younger? This is holding me back from achieving my goals for over a year now & I'm tired of it.

You could read this thread for more information. I would try the egg cleansing spell to remove fat from the places you want and leave out the ones you don't. The spell is mentioned a few times in here. On the mundane level I would work to lose weight a bit more slowly instead of any major workouts or diets. Water weight fluctuates a lot in the areas you mentioned and is usually what is lost at first. If the loss is done over time, your body may "re-organize" the fat stores so they even out a bit.

Thank you for this thread. I am turning 65 and need to get my health turned around. I have gained alot of weight from toxic breast implants that are 30 years old. I had my surgery scheduled a few months ago and they were not able to do the implant removal surgery as they felt my heart was having problems. It has been impossible to lose weight because I have chronic fatique. I have tried a skull spell for weight loss, but have read so many conflicting ideas and how dangerous it can be to do a weight loss spell because you could contract something serious that makes you lose weight.

I would do one thing at a time instead of a bunch of different things. That approach applies to the weightloss process as well. You don't want to try a bunch of different diets or programs either. I think John the Conqueror is perfect. It will give you strength and help you overcome challenges. If you fall off the wagon, you will not be down for long! I'm wondering, what could be the best bet for me? I haven't gained weight for 2 years now, but since I'm working 50 hours a week in front of the computer and have "static" hobbies, too, like reading or painting, I simply never get to burn calories. I'm already healthy food, with lots of vegetables and lean meat like chicken, but it's just enough so that I don't keep getting fatter and fatter. Exercising is, unfortunately, difficult to implement, as my job leaves me extremely tired at the end of the day...

I have a couple questions regarding the triple strength weight loss mojo hand (please excuse the beginner questions). This doesn’t answer my question, let me clarify. If I were to add my own concerns to a love honey jar, what could I expect as an outcome?

I’m not asking so that I can “ensorcel” myself, rather out of pure curiosity.

Also, I’ve scoured this site and forum for information for many years and haven’t seen anything like this done and wondered what the acclaimed people of Lucky Mojo might thinking of this type of honey jar.

You asked if it was a good idea to "add my own concerns to a love honey jar." Insofar as making a packet of BOTH your loved one's concerns and your concerns together and putting your own packet in honey or sugar to sweeten your relationship, that is one of the commonest and most old-fashioned ways to work. NOTE: when "adding your own concerns to a honey jar," you can be making a love packet for a couple, and adding the concerns of BOTH, and you can be one member of the couple. Such packets can also be made for entire families.

You also asked about "basically, doing a love honey jar on myself" in the context of the "need to work on my relationship with myself first which will result in me no longer desiring to work on an outside relationship." Insofar as putting your concerns in a honey jar ALONE is magic, and magic is ensorcelment, you would be trying to ensorcel yourself. This usually works best in conjunction with other, pragmatic methodologies.

You can start with a honey jar to love yourself, and also carry a mojo with herbs that boost self-esteem. High John the Conquer root, or an Angelic Root.
