Anima Sola (Lonely Soul) Oil Questions and Answers

The Anima Sola (Lonely Soul) Oil, from what I read, is sending the forces of purgatory on someone. if that is true, could a person use it on themselves to help purify the darkness inside them? I know it sounds like a silly question but I know in other magical traditions people go through various purging processes to increase their powers. I know in fairy lore fire elementals burn themselves to help increase virtue and personal power. So, in your opinion, if someone is serious about purifying themselves spiritually, would it be wise to use this oil on themselves?

thanks for the link but it doesn't quite answer my question. I need to know if this oil has any redeeming qualities to it when it is used on someone or should it be use just to cause suffering, like a revenge or justice spell? I need to know because I would like to use it on myself to deep clean my spiritual centers but if it's not intended for that purpose then please tell me so I can avoid it.

I guess my question is kinda trick for some to understand as I'm coming from a more eastern mind set than a southern one but if anyone gets what I'm saying then please help.

It is able to help release people from their pain and suffering or even shorten jail time, so it would have redeeming qualities.

Even other uses are about the hope of release from purgatory, so it's not just a revenge or justice thing.

I think using Anima Sol would be a less direct way about it. Have you considered work involving healing, blessing or uncrossing?

Also, you should really consider Hyssop, a more traditionally used herb to clear personal sin, or "darkness" as you put it. A hyssop spiritual bath and ritual would probably be more in alignment with what you are trying to achieve. Check out the following links:
