I've seen those into writing say they light incense and burn crown of success oil in a diffuser while writing to enhance their writing. Can I use a regular oil diffuser that you put the water and oil in or do I need an oil lamp? I want to start having the oil diffusing when I write. Thanks!

Yes, you can use the oils in a diffuser, or you can do like folks first started doing in the 1920s and dab a bit on a light bulb.

Good morning

I’m a self-published author, I published my first book in May of last year and am 80% done with my second book. I was wondering if there was a spell out there that could help me be more successful.

I haven’t been promoting my work as much as other authors but that’s because I want to wait until I have two or three books under my belt so that readers can immediately buy my other works instead of waiting forever for me to come out with something else.

I know spells take awhile to begin working so I figured if I begin now, it’ll have enough time to kick in by the time I’m ready to publish my second novel.

I don;'t know what you mean when you say that "spells take time to kick in." That's not my experience. I once did a sex spell for a man and had sex with him within 3 hours of completing the spell. I once did a spell to get a co-worker who was hassling my client fired and she was fired 9 1/2 hours after i lit the first candle. I once did a spell to get a man to call me and he phonesd while the pink candle was still burning, 1 hour after i lit it. So don't talk yourself into failure by believing that magic cannot and will not produce swift results. That's self-defeating and useless undermining of your own power, in my opinion.

I also sense that your reason for not promoting your first book is more self-undercutting rationalization. Find your fans! Get the ball rolling! Start NOW.

Hello Everyone!

I've read the posts from pages 1-4 but I have to get going so wanted to post my query. I'm an actor/writer/director.

There are a few things I'm attempting to accomplish.

I'm attending a HUGE networking event in a couple of weeks and I would like have broker deals for two/three of my screenplays here. My goal is to get funding for my films with producers and also direct them with me splitting the profits with production company and distributors.

1) I'm only handing out business cards. I'm not a fan of the powders and I love the oils, so I'm assuming to bless the cards with oils and rest them on my altar with my lodestone on it. What should I bless them with? I'm thinking oil the four corners of the business cards with (wealthy way, attraction, crown of success, blessing, protection, fast luck, look me over, and open road). Is there anything else I should add to this mix or do so that I can broker deals for at least two my screenplays?

2) As well, there is a big time director (he'll be at the event) who will be working on a sequel to one of his films and I want to meet with him so that I am considered for a role. I will be in a crowd and I want him to be completely drawn to me for this role. However, I don't want to seem to aggressive and bombard him as I am sure everyone will. I picked up a few tricks here (Oils: crown of success, attraction, olive, look me over) I will also get star anise. Is there anything I should add to that?

3) I am also attempting to crowdfund another film and I want it to be overly successful and have no idea what to do for that. We are crowdfunding online and a little unsure how I would set that up! I would love suggestions!

1) If you can dress the cards with oil, without making them too oily, that combinations sounds great.

2) Again, your plans sound good. I would only add that you may with to dress an amulet or iece of jewelry with those oils as well.m

3) The same scents you selected for your business cards would work for online crowdfuning. Wear them on you or use them to dress a candle as you prepare the crowdfunindg proposal.

The only problem I see with this is that the oil may stain your clothes/outfits; adding it to a spray bottle may leave little tiny splotches on your clothes. If you have powders you may want to sprinkle them on the fabric, or if you have incense, perhaps censing them in the smoke may provide better solutions for you.

Hello all,

There's an online content creator whom I admire (not romantically) and I want him to notice my works and reach out to me. I want him to see me as someone he can't afford to pass up and a positive influence who can take his company beyond video reviews.

Possible obstacles include not being able to relocate to his company's headquarters* (because my husband and I are in debt), as well as a coworker and boss who are rumored to be difficult, unpleasant men.

Any ideas on how to get started and keep the magic going?

If you can sing a little, but want to improve, you can perform a crossroad ritual for an increase in talent. If yu cannot sing at all, i doubt that would fix it -- you have to start with something.

A crossroads ritual does not involve herbs, oils, or spells. It consists of attending upon the spirit at the crossroads while performing to the best of your ability. It will not make you gifted if you were not at all gifted to begin with, but it is done to bring your gifts, talents, and skills to a professional level.

I replied then, but you did not respond to my reply. Then you changed your username. My original reply remains right above, in this same thread.

Now you want to know how to write lyrics.

For this i have a simpler reply:

Focus on doing the work. Write some lyrics. Then write some more lyrics. Practice will carry you a long way, so start now.

The same goes for the social media fame that you now desire:

Start posting, making videos, and friending people -- and they will friend you right back.

So I finally launched my kickstarter campaign and I can say it hasn't taken off the way I preferred. I'm about to send some prayers up and am currently looking for a guidance or input. This is what I got.

I am not sure exactly what you are offering and to whom?

A glass of water can be used to give as an offering to loved ones who are passed, ancestors, or willing spirits, as can a candle.Water is a way for them to connect you and also for them to drink. Florida water is not really used in hoodoo as an offering, can be used to wipe down areas, whisky is often a gift. Bread, fruit, cigar, incense, etc. It really helps to know who you are offering to and why.

Some items listed are not LM so I cant say how to use them but the oils I do know from LM are fine. What candles are you burning exactly? Try adding cinnamon to draw money and powdered sugar to attract.

Lodestones are used to draw anything you want. You would place it under a dish with a petition of what you want, 5 spot dress the paper with wealthy way, Crown of success oil. Feed it with magnetic sand each day telling it to draw what you want to it.

You can light a candle when on your period.

You can add look me over be specific what they are looking over in the prayer.

Attraction product is something I think would interest you as well.

I have a quick question about a petition for Crown of Success.. I’ve written two novels, my second was just released two weeks ago.. Both are under my pen name so I’m wondering how I would word my petition.. Would I say something like “May Jane Doe (pen name) be crowned with success in all of her writing endeavors.” Or “May Jane Doe (real name) also known as Jane Doe (pen name) be crowned with success in all of her writing endeavors.” Or something else? I’m at a loss.. Maybe not the word endeavors.. I’m not sure

Any help would be greatly appreciated.. Thank you!

I had the church light the Crown of Success candle for me shortly after posting here in November, it was a fairly good burn according to the report with some white haze signifying minor delays and distractions and some glitter indicating minor confusion or uncertainty with two herbs indicating two minor obstacles... I just ordered a block buster candle and am hoping this aids to get rid of whatever 'delays, obstacles, confusion, etc..' lies ahead.. Once the candle report gets back to me I'll decide on whether to light another BB or do Crown again.. My question is, what candle would I light to receive more reviews for either of my novels. My first has 5, my second only has 1... All 5 stars, which I'm grateful for, but I would like more reviews.. Would Crown be what I light for reviews and my petition be something like "May Jane Doe, also know as Mary Ann (Pen name) receive successful reviews on all of her novels"... I know there's a candle for drawing in money, but I need one for drawing in reviews and I don't think there is one specifically for that, lol... Thank you for your help!

Good question. I would recommend using Attraction and Look Me Over candles for this. To the look me over I would also add to them Calumus Root Chips, Deer's Tongue Leaf, and Five Finger Grass. For your petition, using only your pen name will do just fine.

My question:
Is there a spell that would help me attract musicians to buy my lyrics?
I've bought crown of success, but I'm not quite sure how to apply it. I write my lyrics on paper and I write them in my phone. I was thinking anointing the paper I write them on. However, I think a spell would be the best thing.

I've searched all over but I can't find any info on what I do. I've seen ways to attract publishers for writing a book, but not to attract musicians and producers to lyricist.

I'm very good at what I do (if I may say so myself). I love writing and reading. I even co-wrote a play. The field of lyricial writing as a career is difficult. But, I love it.

Dr Darensbourg's post just above yours has great advice that you can adapt to your situation. You can burn a candle dressed with Crown of Success, Attraction and Look Me Over oils and add a pinch of Calamus and Five Finger Grass to it. Set down a small stack of your written lyrics, put a written petition on top of it stating that you want musicians to buy your lyrics and burn your candle on top of it.

Also, you could smoke your lyrics (paper or on your phone) in incense from the same oil formulas above.

You can also work with a lodestone to attract musicians to your work.

I’ve used Steady Work with Money Drawing hoping it would help me sell my script and get a leading role in it. However, I got a call for a job interview for a completely different kind of work plus I got two new clients at the accounting office I work in at the moment. It’s great but not what I was hoping for. What I’m I doing wrong?

I think the items were successful, you have steady work and drawing in money I would use crown of success for a role in a play. I would make the petition as specific as possible to that goal.

Please forgive me if this is not the right topic, I’m just continuing my posts from January...

I started to work at the new job I got due to using Steady Work and Money Drawing. Lots of people would do anything to work here because it’s relatively high paid and steady. Me, I’m miserable. I cry almost every night because I hate it. I’ve been feeling depressed. I feel like a failure because I haven’t succeed in acting. Actually, I haven’t even tried to give my 100% towards acting and selling my script, and that what keeps me wake at night and feeling miserable and depressed. So far, I had no luck using my Lucky Mojo oils. Don’t know what I’m doing wrong...

I do know that I need a good cleanse so I will be doing Chinese Wash, Egg cleansing and 13 herb bath today.

But, I don’t know what else to do. Should I give Blockbuster a try? Please help. Thank you!

I am sorry about your depression and hard feelings. It is good news that the steady work helped you land a good paying job. Being depressed and miserable is something that you should consider medical attention to assist with as well.

You state your oils are not working, yet quote how steady work helped. You further stated how you have not done anything relating to the work you want. Hoodoo, and magic in general help but they are not the wish granter without work, its called rootwork because we do the work, and do so with the root. You must also do your part. You may want to add a mojo to your work, dusting applications, your scripts with come to me and attraction powder, etc. Wear crown of success oil and burn candles for success weekly. Meanwhile you must be an active person in the work being done and the goal, send it out, apply, talk to people, go where they are noticed.

If you feel in a rut or stuck, you may want to do a cleansing bath and cleanse the house, then do a road opener or block buster to open the roads for you. Mercury is retrograde right now, it is not uncommon to not hear something from a business, or movement to be stuck. Take a copy of the script place it under a glass dish, dust the script with attraction powder and burn a 7 day Lucky Mojo attraction candle on top of the container. This would be done to draw people to the script. Then get out and hand some paper copies to people ( dusted), send with email but dress your hands with attraction oil before typing the email. You can attach the names and email addresses or businesses that you sent the script to on the attraction candle to draw them to the script.

My wife is working to switch careers to illustrator/artist. She's been working to develop the skill over the past few years, but is not so great at marketing.

We're currently working to reinforce control over our spaces with regular washes. But, once the space is fully mastered there's an order of operation question.

Do we need to start with a road opening or should we jump straight in with something like crown of success?

Also, what modifications would be recommended if constructing a hand like Blues Boy special, but for an artist/illustrator?

Hello,
Just a quick question about the crossroads ritual.
I intend to take my guitar with me to the crossroads and do the things cat wrote about.
Can I take my guitar outside and use a "portable crossroads" like cat wrote about on the crossroads page?

As an Indie-Publisher, writer, entrepreneur, I've noticed that lately we're being PELTED with bad news. That's usually when the Greedy of the 1% ELITE are getting ready to spring something unpalatable on us, where the general public gets stuck with the bill. I DENY THAT. I'm UN-PROGRAMMED.

Everyday I get up, I do the sign of the cross (not the Catholic way, but the Magician's way) and state "I'm Rich, Biatch!" (not I'm A rich Biatch - that's different- hahaha) and end with the sign of the cross again. Every word you say is a spell, so I use words carefully. Anyone can do the same thing adding imprecations to it if it impinges on your psyche better as in (I'm f$$&$ing Rich!). We're not here to support a system. The universe was created FOR US. We are Divine in origin and purpose. And to that end, I am still waiting on some lovely products I ordered a month ago from Lucky Mojo that I can't wait to put to use. I was told my order is finally in shipping. So cross fingers, everybody! Just my thought for today. Love and Light...

I always enjoy your additions to the forum! Personally, I'm hoping you're considering taking Miss Cat's Hoodoo Rootwork Correspondence Course and possibly joining AIRR.

And I agree with you, words ARE spells, words HAVE power...this is something I work with every day with my clients, friends and family in building towards that understanding. Carefully choosing out words not just for spell work in the writing of petitions or stating of intentions but in every verbal interaction directly impacts our success, our growth, our self-image, and more. From a writer's perspective this becomes even more imperative! Personally, I lament the degradation of the grammar, literature, creative writing, journalism and similar programs provided in schools today and the shift in emphasis of their importance to a holistic and beneficial education. But, if you think about it, words HAVE power...how better to keep control over others than to take away their ability to "word" effectively?

Greetings all I'm new here,

I've been reading most posts for what other Artists had to do for work. I'm looking for guidance for myself as well.

I am a Commercial actress from Los Angeles, transferred to the South to work the Southern region, in TV/Film. I've booked national commercials while living in Los Angeles, now I'm here in the South, with 4 agents on all 4 coasts and I'm not auditioning much and when I am auditioning, I'm placed on hold, never to book. Auditions are great but I want to book projects while we're in pilot season this year.

I've join this group to open up my roads for good opportunities and success to come to me. I want to be overbooked this year; I want to always be on the plane going to work. I appreciate all of your wisdom and feedback, I'm so hungry with tons of ambition to work again, to be on set again.

I did not correct your punctuation, which i often do for the sake of clarity, but if you want to become an author, you will need to learn that a comma is followed by a space. Free programs, like Grammarly, will correct your spelling and punctuation and help you learn the rules.

Also, at this forum we discourage people starting new threads, because there are already thousands of threads in this forum, so i will have to merge your post into an extant thread. Paying attention to the expectations of your audience, is important too.

Therefore, i recommend not only a Crown of Success spell for your success, but also the addition of Clarity oil to the spell, to help you select a genre and also focus on the rules of writing, because editors are not interested in having to correct manuscripts.
