Re: Posts: Edited, Missing, Merged, Locked, 404
Hi Miss Cat,
I tried to reply to your private message about my board warning. I tried to find my topic too, and I couldn't. My phone is difficult with navigation some times.
Anywho, IAM SO SORRY mt post was vague. The point of my post was I learned my lesson about not using lm oils.
I just moved and had some old oils on hand, being cheap lazy etc I used them...knowing better and look at the results I got-that was my point.
I love LM from my reading with you to cm, airr, and misc.
I mean no disrespect to anyone. The title of my "New Years Eve Party" post was changed, when it was moved, so maybe Im in trouble for the misinformation and mentioning non lm products, and for the ladder Im really sorry. I thought it was a compliment to lm because your products always work wonders unlike those oils. Sorry Sorry Sorry! :*(

Don't worry about it. The point was understood, and that's all that matters -- but this is the Lucky Mojo forum, and thus the topic shall remain. We don;t need to go negative on other products to let folks know how good our products are. So apology accepted, and be assured i am not angry in any way.
Also, for anyone wondering how to find your own posts if they do get moved to a different sub-forum, retitled, or merged with other posts in a different thread, here's what to do:
Click on your username in any post you have made or search for your username in the Members search tool.
This takes you to your profile page
Click on View User's Posts
There are all your posts, in reverse chronological order (newest posts first) with snippets of text so you will know which post is whenich.
Click on the title of any post to be taken to that thread and sub-forum.

If I did something wrong, I am sorry. I promise it was completely unintentional. The topic that I tried to start is not showing. It does however, show in my User Control panel. Or it did, and now it's gone. It was under the Ask for help... And I had it title "Losing my love and all of my money." ??? Can someone tell if it was deleted and should I repost?

No you didn't do anything wrong. Unfortunately, there is a lot of spam (and some very unbalanced people) on this site, so all posts from new posters need to be approved by a moderator.

Thank you.
Now, I just need advice.

Re: Posts: Edited, Missing, Merged, Locked, 404
Hi, I've been trying unsuccessfully to post to the Honey jar thread among other threads for the past four days. Each time I post it says that a moderator must approve my post but I think there may be a problem because it's been some time now.
Could someone please take a look and see if there is something wrong with my id? An original thread I created posted the first day but none of the replies to other threads have posted.
thanks

New posters are moderated for their first 3 posts. Your posts will not appear until a moderator has had the time to read your post, assess that it's not spam or otherwise inappropriate, and then take the necessary actions to approve it - at which time it will show up. Please be patient, as all moderators and administrators are volunteers and some time it takes time to do all the board management.
In the meantime, please do not make multiple posts. That just makes a great deal of extra work for us mods.
Thanks!

Please be patient. Please do not post the same message over and over while waiting for approval for a post.
Posts from new members always require approval. After you have been a member here for a while, your posts will not need approval.
We require approval for posts by new members to reduce our spam load and to get people into the rhythm of the forum. Your frantic re-posting -- and then asking about it here -- has caused me an extra ten minutes of work, deleting all of the extra posts, and replying here.
Calm down, realize that you are dealing with kindly-intentioned VOLUNTEERS, and accept the fact that until we know you, and you get auto-approval for your posts, your messages will be held in queue.
Thanks for understanding.
Your question-message has been approved. Your message above has been approved. After this, i will go reply to you -- if i still have time.

Sorry about that! I honestly thought it was a glitch since my first question posted so quickly. Last thing I want to do is waste anyone's time although I'm probably wasting more of it with this apology.!! so again, sorry!

Hello, I made my first post last night, I wanted to thank St. Expedite. But today, I cannot find my post nor can I find out for sure if it even
went through ok for moderator approval. Is there a way to find out, if it will show up or not. Should I repost? Thanks, J.

New posters often start new threads, not realizing that certain topics (such as thanks t0 a particular saint) already have long threads and the new post has been tacked on or merged there.
Folks, to view all of your own posts, click on your own name.
That takes you to your own page.
Then click on the link that allows you to view all of your own posts.
They are in chronological order, with the newest at the top.
Click on any one of them you wish to investigate and you will be taken to your post or to the long thread in which your post was embedded.

Hello,
I submitted a post to the boards regarding help for a situation. I know it has to be approved first but I thought it would appear under my login name as pending. I am just concerned that it got lost. Would I see nothing about this post, even under my name, until it is approved?
Thanks,
S

Your post was held pending moderation because in it you violated a simple principle of the Terms of Service, but otherwise the post was of interest. After i edited out your negative reference to a religion to which you do not belong (and which you may not have even known is a religion), your post was approved.

Just wanted to say thank you and I am terribly sorry to have offended anyone. I was trying to convey that my old enemy was working with a group and therefore had strength in numbers; my use of the word 'coven' was inaccurate (and inadvertently offensive). Apologies again.

I am confused and on the verge of being offended...I posted several things on the board and they were rejected. I received a message that stated the only reason I was posting was to sell something, or to advertise a website or something to that effect.....The only one I can think of that even comes close, was mentioning that I use software to get my mind in a good place before doing a working and I don't think I even posted the name of that software??
What is going on w/this? I replied via eail but have yet to receive a response and I'm not even sure you guys read the emailed replies...

Hi holly2004,
it wasn't removed, it was simply placed in the general thread concerning honey jars : honey-sugar-sweet-jar-questions-and-answers-t5536.html
In your task bar when you're logged in, click on ''View your posts'' in order to see where your various messages have been moved when this is the case.
Blessings.

With so many people asking questions pertaining to one single sub-section of conjure work, it is much easy for the forum to have them (the questions and answers) all grouped together! Take it from someone who remembers the 20+ posts concerning honey jars; the one long thread is a much easier way to get the help you desire!

Lippy,
1)
To get help and advice in this forum, which is about Lucky Mojo Spiritual Supplies and their use in the practice of African American conjure, first read this instructional post:
Don't Label Posts "Please Help Me" -- Use Descriptive Words
don%CA%B9t-label-posts-%22please-help-m ... t5382.html
After that, start a new topic thread with your question in the subject line, in the "Ask for Help" section or a section dealing with a specific class of products, and simply post your question.
2)
To purchase Lucky Mojo spiritual supplies for conjure and hoodoo, please go to our online catalogue:
http://luckymojo.com/catalogue.html
3)
To hire a reader or rootworker to advise you, please go to the Association of Independent Readers and Rootworkers and start by reading the Main Page:

Then, before you select an AIRR reader or rootworker, see these helpful web pages. They only relate to AIRR members. Other readers and rootworkers (including internet readers not associated with AIRR, student practitioners who participate in this forum but are not HRCC graduates or members of AIRR, and psychic fair readers) do not always adhere to AIRR standards -- but everyone in search of readings or rootwork ought to know about these help pages:

Hi Lippy --
Are you asking about Hoodoo Psychic Readings and Conjure Consultations or how to post to The Forum for help with a situation?
If you have a question about a situation that you need help with, you can post it in the "Asking for help with Your Situation":
ask-for-help-with-your-situation-f24.html and click the "New Topic" in red.
You may have a question that may have been asked already, you can also go to the upper right hand corner and type in the words to a topic or product (example) "money and home problems" there are 1082 for those "buzz words".
Good luck and welcome to the Forum! (you can also post and introduction here if you like:
introductions-and-greetings-f15.html

Because of the large amount of spam on this forum, new posters will need to have at least their first three posts approved by a moderator.

Ohhh i automaticly think ive done something wrong. Thank you.

Re: Posts: Edited, Missing, Merged, Locked, 404
I've been reading old threads (always good to do before peppering people with questions, and there's good information here) but I'm getting 404 errors for some of them. It only happens when I use IE, everything works great with Firefox. The error messages aren't on a white screen like you get when a website has gone away, but the regular forum page with all the graphics and a 404 error message. Here is one thread that came up like that: candles-trim,-carve,-load,-petition,-pr ... 9108s0.php
As mentioned, I can still read the threads if I use Firefox so it's not a problem for me personally, I just wanted to make you guys aware of the glitch and let anyone who might be having the same problem know how to get around it. Thanks.

Aha! Thank you.

Re: Posts: Edited, Missing, Merged, Locked, 404
Hi I was asking for some help interpreting my Cut & Clear Candle to help me let go of my ex and the entire bottom part broke off completely and all of the wax spilled all over and I was burning a Power candle for strength for letting my ex go and standing on that decision, which burned good and a Cast off Evil candle to stop thinking about him, contacting him and bad habits of getting readings about our situation that burned good.
My problem is, I wrote out my problem wrong and someone commented and I went back and replied to correct my original post and when I checked back to see if there were any new comments, the post was gone. Has it been moved or deleted?

Interpretations of candles go into the thread on that subject. Your post was moved. Your second post (duplicate post) was deleted.
To find your own posts, click on your name. You will be taken to your profile page. Cleick on your post-count, and you will see ALL the posts you have made. Click on the one you are looking for,
THIS post of yours will also be moved. There is already a thread on the subject of moved posts.
Please pay attention to the forum's sturcture before starting new, duplicated, or out-of-place threads.
Please read the entire structure of the board. Please then click on each section and look at the "sticky" posts that remain at the top of each section.
If your post is covered by a "sticky" post, it means that the moderators have already received similar questions before and replied to them -- sometimes on several occasions.
Moving and merging posts that are in the wrong place or are redundant takes time away from our writing replies to new questions. Please help the forum's moderators -- and future readers of the forum -- by posting in the relevant and already extant areas which are part of the structure of the forum.
Thanks.

Hi, Is it possible to merge these threads? I went looking for some advice and almost went crossed eyes with all the circular links referencing back to each other. I can only past 10 URLs in one post so there will be a part II to this thread.
Thanks!

Thanks! I will move all of the ones in OLD THREADS area into the Studying area, but i don't think they should all be in one thread. I will merge a few, though.
Thanks very much for bringing thsese to my attention.

Recently when I post once, my posts are coming out in triplicate! Has anyone else had this happen? When I notice it I delete the duplicates.

double , in order for us to delete a person's real name from a thread, you would need to tell us the thread. There are tens of thousands of posts here!
Miss Charm, I've never had this happen. Sorry i cannot help you.

Are you posting from a phone app or browser on your phone? The only time I've had that kind of thing happen is when I was posting from a phone.

That could be it, then. I'm not sure why some browser apps do that - maybe the date is transferred differently and it ends up with duplicate postings.

Re: Posts: Edited, Missing, Merged, Locked, 404
When trying to check on my posted topic "Technical Question regarding Break Up Spell with Kit" I can't find it in either the Ending Relationship forum or the Breakups, Hotfooting...etc forums. When I try to follow the link in the email I got showing approval of the topic I find an Error 404 Not Found. Here is the URL from the email.

Is this a board glitch?

The thread was merged with all the rest of the questions about the Break Up spell kits we sell -- in the spell kit section.
Generally speaking, when a question is a request for product suggestions within a certain area of life (e.g. how to break two people up) the thread should be originated within the "Ask for Help with..." section and if it is not there, it will be moved there, and it generally will not be merged with other topics, since each situation is different.
On the other hand, if a question specifies a Lucky Mojo product by name in the title or in the body of the text (e.g. Technical Questions Regarding Break Up Spell with Kit) it should be originated within one of the appropriate product areas (e.g. sachets, spell kits, oils, etc.) and it will be moved and/or merged there if it is not -- and merging is common with these threads, as the products remain the same over time.
When a thread is merged into another, it loses its distinct identity and a search on that identity will produce a 404 error. It's not a "glitch" per se, but it would require some heavy-duty programming to craft a work-around for that, like an auto-generated permanent redirect, which is beyond me.
If you are searching for your own posts, the quickest way is to click on your own name and view your own posting history, which is linked from your member page. The posts will be displayed in reverse-chronological order, with the newest posts at the top.
Hope this helps!

Hi all...I hope I'm doing this right. I'm new to the forum and made my first post a little while ago. I understand that it is undetermined when I will get approval on it. But is it normal that when I click on "view my posts" the message says "no suitable matches were found"? I just want to make sure I did it right. Thanks!
