I would work some money stay with me products, along with king solomon wisdom. This will keep the money in his pocket, and help him spend the money he does have wisely. Like I said previously, you may want him to take on more hours but that option may not be available to him. However you can work some steady work, and see if he will be able to get some more hours.

First, is it even right to work a spell to get someone to stop drinking? My son is sick and maybe dying and is lying to me about drinking. Can anything be done or do I just let it go. He has not asked me to help him. If no spell for the drinking, how about a spell to get him to want to go to the doctor for the symptoms he's describing to me he's got. they sound pretty serious?

If he does not want to take it, but has the option to, I would either work with any of these products to convince him to do so.

Now you can work some king solomon wisdom products to understand that it would be a wise decision to take on the over time.

Now if you want to be more forceful you can work with some I dominate my man products, essence of bend over, or compelling products.

Well, I would work some cast off evil products.

You can get the complete spell kit here www.luckymojo.com/product-cast-off-evil.html
www.luckymojo.com/castoffevil.html

I would actually get a reading to see what specifically can be done to encourage him to go to the doctor. If he drinks regularly then he may not have clear thinking. So I would do the above couple with some clarity, and kind solomon wisdom.

www.readersandrootworkers.com

www.luckymojo.com/products-clarity.html
www.luckymojo.com/kingsolomonwisdom.html
www.luckymojo.com/products-king-solomon-wisdom.html

If he still refuses you may need something slightly coercive such as compelling or even commanding products.

Hi All, I get such great advice from you all, so here goes. Close friend has been on valium for a few years and is coming off (under MD's care).. the withdrawal however is extremely unpleasant. Any ideas on a certain product (an oil she can use, etc) that will help her? I was thinking Healing (much success with friends who have been physically ill), tranquility even Peace Water. If any of you have helped someone go through drug withdrawal, I would greatly appreciate any advice.

As always, thank you so much.

I haven't had to deal with a situation like this, but Healing and Tranquillity sound like a good choice. I would also add some Crucible of Courage, since it takes a lot of courage to go through something like this.
Best wishes to you and your friend, and I hope your friend will manage to go through this successfully.

I have personally gone through this and will PM you with some suggestions and resources that your friend can look into. Since they are not hoodoo related, they are off-topic for the forum here.

However, Tranquility and Crucible of Courage are two very good choices for condition products. I would also petition St. Dymphna and the Blessed Dr. Jose Gregorio Hernandez to aid the process. They are both extremely eager and willing to aid in these situations.

I have raised my two grandchildren ages 4 and 6 since they were born. Their dad is in and out of prison and is violent. Their mother is a drug addict. I never got formal custody of them. Yesterday their mother came around asking for money and because I didn't give it to her, she took the kids from me. I don't know where they went but suspect that she went to Las Vegas to search for their father.

I have prayed to St. Expedite to help me promising him candles an alter and anything else I can possibly offer. I need some urgent intervention to get my grandchildren back before they get hurt. I'm afraid that if I call protective services they will be placed in foster care.

What can I do to bring them back. What can I do to keep her away. She is not a mother to them. She only comes around when she can't find any money for her drugs.

Thank you.

I am not sure how things work in your state, but if you call child protective services that does not mean you will never get them back or you cant formally adopt them.

I strongly recommend that you take some kind of act so that you can get some formal custody of them, and going through child protective services to report their mother may be the way to do it. But I cant give out legal advice, but you should seek the advice of a lawyer to see your options.

However, I would get a reading to see what is the best action for you at this point.
http://www.readersandrootworkers.com

To make sure the children do not get hurt you can do some simple protection work with fiery wall of protection or since I see you work with saints you can have saint michael or archangel michael protect the children.

http://www.luckymojo.com/archangelmichael.html
http://www.luckymojo.com/fierywall.html

I would work with Saint Anthony to help return the your lost grandchildren.

http://www.luckymojo.com/saintanthony.html

I would also consider that you do some commanding, or even essence of bend over to force the mother to come and return them.

www.luckymojo.com/commanding.html
www.luckymojo.com/essenceofbendover.html

Your emotions may be running extremely high right now, as I understand this is a difficult situation so you may want to consider having the Missionary Independent Spiritual Church light candles on your behalf or to back up any of the work you are doing yourself.

My long distance cousin may be using drug substances, But we are not 100% sure. This is what the family has told his mother.
His mother will be visiting him in 3 weeks. What could I help prepare for her to take with her so she could help him with this?

Thank you for your help in advance...

You can look at the line of Cast Off Evil products, as they help people kick bad habits, break away from bad influences, stop acting in negative behavioral patterns, etc.

There are many ways you could work with it - for instance, burning fixed COE candles on his name, putting him into a bottle spell with COE powders, use COE on a white skull candle to influence him to change his habits, etc.

You may want to get a reading first to find out if he is actually using, or what issues he may actually be facing so you'll know which way to proceed best. You can find a list of readers and rootworkers at http://www.readersandrootworkers.org

Thank you Devi!
I am going to look at the Cast off Evil products and use it in a white skull candle or a reversible red candle which I have used in the past. I will try the white skull first.
Before I will check to see if he is actually use any drugs first.

Unfortunately, due to a mix up with my doctor, I'm not able to refill my prescription for a psychiatric medication until I've been on withdrawal from it for 2-3 days. Any ideas for saints or candle spells to help me focus and not go insane during those days?

You can look at Cast Off Evil (http://www.luckymojo.com/castoffevil.html) Spiritual Supplies as they help people kick bad habits, break away from bad influences, stop acting in negative behavioral patterns, etc., followed by a Blessing Spiritual Supplies (http://www.luckymojo.com/blessing.html) that includes petitions and prayers for him to be healthy and sound in mind and body. I especially like the Blessing White Candle spell found on the website.

...and I stand by what cat saying on the Cast Off Evil website, "Magic alone often cannot help a person with severe alcohol or drug dependencies. In order to effect a change, the work must go to changing them at their very core, not just to a little part of them...So when trying to help an addict of any kind (and that includes tobacco as well as alcohol and other drugs), i recommend a three-part work: (1) get them in a program, (2) get them in church, (3) do your spell casting and prayer work on them. Even two out of the three has a better chance of success than any one alone."

I work with St Dymphna constantly but added Dr Hernandez for the first time, and I'm happy to say I didn't have any of the seizures I was told were very likely due to withdrawl, so I'd like to think they both helped me through it! Thanks to all for the advice!

I need to request some suggestions to help my fiance stay sober (he has just been released from jail....all of his felony charges were dropped except for two misdemeanors which are public intox and obstruction). The court case suggestions WORKED WONDERFULLY! He would have been facing a lot of time had it not been for lots of prayers support and good works.

what is a good spell to help him stay sober?

what is a good spell to protect him (help him stay out of trouble....is it Law Keep Away....does anyone have any specific spells they can share with me to facilitate this)

and thirdly, right now we are in separate states (he's down South I'm up North) for another two months. Want to keep him faithful to me and keep our close bond with each other. When he drinks our bond is threatened. I have his personal fluids, hair etc he gave to me willingly as when we're apart we want to remain close to each other (he has mine too)

I trust him, love him but I fear because of his addictions, he may fail to stay out of trouble and that would ruin our future plans of marriage and relocation for him.

thanks in advance for any and all help!

For the addictions, you can work Cast Off Evil for him to help him break free from the patterns that have enabled it.

To protect him, I would go with Fiery Wall of Protection. The Law Keep Away just keeps the authorities from noticing you and from getting into your business, so it's a different kind of "protection". For staying out of trouble, I'd petition St. Michael to help keep him protected from those bad influences, and when in combination with Cast Off Evil will be a very good spiritual support.

You can work a honey jar to keep your relationship strong and sweet.

If you want to tie his nature to you in a more aggressive way, then consider a Nation Sack (you'll need to collect his sexual fluids next time you see him).

You should consider getting his ancestors involved. Go to them, speak to them about what is going on and ask for their intervention to help keep him sober and out of trouble.

Maybe this will work in steps for you...I would really try reevaluating the situation, and asking myself how much do I love this person. Then I would try my best to love them enough to want to help them without inward intentions (i just think it would clear all the bad air surrounding the situation) thus fore allowing the process to flow smoothly. I would then do a freeze on the friends and the smoking, 1st problem, then I would begin some positive redirecting towards him having a relationship with GOD with some inner Peace workings constantly praying psalms 23 and a king Solomon kit to help him to make better decisions. I am not a pro like a lot of the people on this site which is why I come here myself I know a bit and have a great more to learn...If I am advising wrong please intercept. This is just where I would begin.

You can also use Stay at Home products if he only smokes when he is with his friends. A lot of people want to fit in with the crowd they are with, and otherwise don't indulge destructive behaviors.

I made a honey jar last night for me and my sweetheart. Its the first time I've made a honey jar for us and while the candle was burning, I found myself reading an old letter of his which was a really beautiful romantic one...in it he was so devoted to me and our relationship and gave me his whole heart. this letter was just sitting out on top of my keepsake box. i forgot it was there but somehow the honeyjar candle burning made me look in that direction. i think i'll read a letter everynight when i work the honeyjar ...

Set up an ancestor altar, it can include simple things, something the person cherished, a picture, a white candle (a tea light, any size)

beautiful you have a lot of options, but do not take this issue as your responsibility, it is his and his alone. You can, of course, as you are doing "support him" when he makes the choice to follow one of the steps listed above. I do know that it is a difficult situation. Good Luck and my prayers are with you. Another thought, you can petition Saint Martin of Tours; if memory serves me correctly, he is considered the patron saint of alcoholics or reformed alcoholics as well as those who are in need. You can read further about him here (http://www.luckymojo.com/saintmartinoftours.html). Lucky Mojo carries several Saint Martin of Tours products...

I would get a reading actually, and see if this situation can even be helped, and what would be the best methods to take. I have heard of a spell where a person becomes digusted when they want to engage in a bad habit such as smoking or doing drugs. If I find this spell, or design one myself, I will message it to you.

An ancestor altar is rather simple. You can include a picture, food/drinks he liked to consume, a candle (his favorite color or a white candle),flowers, dish of water, a letter card, etc. Also, anything he liked is great too such as if he like cars, or certain hobbies. If you have access to the grave, then you can purchase some of his graveyard dirt.

I will. Give me a few days as I think I will have to design it myself since I can't locate the original.

This is really good information...thank you. I have a picture of his Grampa and will include things he liked. I don't have access to the graveyard dirt though because he's buried in another State in the South and I am in New England for the time being. I am sure the graveyard dirt would enhance the spell for certain.

Just a quick question on this topic that I thought might be helpful for others in the future, since I was just considering it. I have been working with the Cast Off Evil line of products and was about to make a mojo bag too be carried by the person in need. I chose black but wondered if others might suggest a different color for a CAST OFF EVIL mojo bag? Let me know.

Thanks in advance and happy hoodoo, ya'll!

You can choose black, or even white. I think both would be appropriate, but I would lean towards white which is just my personal preference.

My feeling on this one would actually be purple. To add some strength and commanding to casting the evil off.

Okay.

Long story short; we've been together for over a year. We've had far too many ups and downs, but we're still hanging in there. And I think I've finally discovered why he hates himself so much.
(I've been working on that, trying to help his self-esteem, since the beginning of the relationship.)

He's addicted to pornography and has been since he was VERY young. I only found out because I was looking at his Amazon wish list yesterday and found some books on it about trying to get better.
I confronted him about it; I may not have gone into this the best way, but I was moving on instinct. He was upset, I was upset, but I wasn't upset because of the disease, I was upset that I found out
about it through his Amazon wish list. I was upset that we had been through so much and been together as long as we have and he hadn't told me. After talking about it, I think he realizes that he's
not going to lose me because of this, but that there has to be communication and honesty.

He is in therapy, has spoken about it to his minister, and was already planning to start a 12 step program in January (right now he's going to classes on the nights the program meets, that changes next semester) and he is filled with self-loathing because of the addiction.

I don't have a problem with his problem. In other words, it's not a relationship-breaker for me. I want to do everything possible to help support him and help him in his walk away from it. I realize that it's an addiction, and
that addictions don't just disappear, that it's a lifelong battle. I come from a family with a history of addiction problems, so I know that there's not going to be an overnight solution.

My question is this; what can I do, magically, to help him? He's gone back into the LDS church, so I'm not sure if he's still as open as he once was to using powders, oils, and washes as he was when we first started
the relationship. He's still fine with my using magic, I'm just saying I don't know if I can get him to use the Cast-Off-Evil products himself. I'm thinking of tricking a bracelet or a stuffed animal to send to him to help,
but I would like some advice from some rootworkers who are more experienced than I am. Also, any recommendations of saints or other powers that I can call on to aid him in this would be much appreciated.

Thank you.

Light a Cast Off Evil candle for him, or a white candle dressed with Cast Off Evil oil. Your idea of tricking a gift is a good one; Cast Off Evil powder would be less noticable than oil.

Thank you, Mama Micki.

I would also just like to add that he was already working on it himself, and that that means a lot, in my opinion. This isn't a case of me finding out, and him making promises in panic because he'd been found out.
This is a case of someone who was afraid to lose what he had, and so he hid the addiction while trying to work on it himself. And that means something, in my opinion.
I can't quite put it into words, but that point is important to me for some reason.

It's important to you because that is just about the best sign you could possibly have :D

You might want to add some Blessing candles to the Cast Off Evil, since he recognizes this as a spiritual issue that affects his relationship with God.

Hope this helps,

Hi Folks before we get started I feel the need to inform you all that I am a "what if girl". I love learning everything that I can even if it's scenario's are those, that I would most likely never come across or seem odd. So there isn't any specific situation causing me to ask these questions other than I love the idea of being armed with as much knowledge in my interests (in this case root working) as I can find, and I enjoy little bits of randomness. (lol consider this a warning for any other strange posts you might see me post later on)

That being said, I have seen quite a few posts relating to court hearings for DUIs and I have on various occasions used magic too help heal alcoholism and it got me thinking about the opposite. What I mean is. I have used root working to help with alcoholism, but can it be used to turn someone into an alcoholic? and if so how? It would seem to me that since there are spells to both make someone lose weight and gain weight. There must be spells for both aspects when related to drinking. Would this be along the same line as bringing trouble to a trouble maker? And what if the intended victim isn't really a trouble maker?

1. Can you use a spell to cause someone to be severely intoxicated ? and how would one go about it?

2. Can you use spellwork to cause someone to get a DUI? and again how would one go about this?

3. Can you use these things to cause someone to become an alcoholic and if so how?

4. Is there a way to tell if a person's drinking habits are being influenced?

5. When a person is intoxicated are their defenses down and thus more easily influenced by magical means? and is there a form of protection for this?

Any input ya'll might have would be greatly appreciated.

You could confuse them (Inflammatory Confusion and black mustard seed) and cause everything in their life to be sour (vinegar jar). Have a divination first with a Member of AIRR to determine what is justified.
You are writing and speaking with anger-- it is a curse. See the huge thread in The Forum.

You need Miss Cat's Book, Hoodoo Herb and Root Magic and read Hoodoo in Theory and Practice, both by Miss Catherine Yronwode.
http://www.luckymojo.com/hoodooherbmagic.html
http://www.luckymojo.com/hoodoo.html

This advice aside, yes you can confuse someone, yes you can put a child molester in jail, but you asked about causing someone to get a DUI and get drunk. You asked about making someone become an alcoholic. I would not do this for ethical reasons. What if that person gets drunk, gets behind the wheel of a car and kills someone you love on the road? What if that person gets drunks and beats the hell out of his Momma? What if that person gets drunk and puts kids in the car and the kids die.
There are other ways to go about it and if it is justified yes you and your Member of AIRR could work together. If putting them in jail is called for write it up and call it out.

Alcohol and conjure don't mix. Focus is a necessity in conjure.

To help protect from people who may be drunk especially during the holiday season, and normal situations on the road, Saint Christopher and Comfrey. VanVan products would also be helpful for safe travel in the car along with other methods to protect someone.

About cursing generally, you can work a vinegar jar or a doll baby or somebody's dreams with a long customized list of particular miseries, if you like. However, curses tend to strike at the target's weakest system. You may specify alcoholism, but if he comes from a long line of hale and hearty teetotalers, he's more likely to suffer a divorce or bankruptcy -- something he is more vulnerable to.

I agree with Miss Tammie Lee -- if you must curse somebody, do it in such a way as to keep the innocent from harm.

Hope this helps,

Wow, i appreciate the info but as i stated in the first two paragraphs of my post, i really don't have any enemies that i can think of at the moment and was speaking merely out of curiosity and conversation than a desire to actually do such a thing. At the moment the most anger I feel is being a bit miffed that my phone hasn't stopped ringing today. (BTW anyone know a spell a day of peace and quiet?) lol. So I don't have any situation that I require the aid of an AIRR worker at the moment nor do i feel the need to curse anyone.

I am sorry if I have alarmed anyone that was not my intent. I believe in learning both sides to every coin good and bad. Hopefully one would never need to use the more negative things they have learned but I still would like learn to provide greater understanding. I guess I believe to understand good aspects better you should also under the negative. (just my personal philosophy. I also think this helps with identifying threats and how to protect yourself.) That doesn't mean I want to ever have to use it!

As I have stated, i have previously used magic and spells to aid alcoholics in their recovery and to try and lessen any impact that drinking may cause both to themselves and innocents around them. But to my line of thinking that also means that the opposite can be done, and I merely wanted to have an understanding of it.

Once again I apologize for alarming anyone, that truly was not my intent.

Hi I really need a spell that can help me with my ex husbands drug addiction.

So here's the deal, my ex husband is actually a real good guy. except of course for the drugs. The drug he uses is Meth which is quite addictive.

He has tried quitting and he's been successful but it only last a few months, he seems to lack the strength at times .

We have remained friends and have kids together, so I definitely want to help him for the sake of my kids. They need their dad.

Is there a spell that I can use to help him with the strength or determination he needs, or if anyone has a suggestion would really appreciated.
